Blood ANd Bone is one of the best Martial Arts movies you will see anywhere. In fact it is so good, that every time I see it pop up in my feed, I find that I end up watching it all over again. It is truly a first-class movie and soooo underrated.
Yet the beginning of the movie he is in jail. The reason he was there is unclear, but I would imagine he wasn't there because he was as pure as the driven snow.

Cinematography was good, and casting. The acting was either very good or... was the fucking director napping. Dialogue was mixed too. It seemed to settle for aiming at an audience, rather than make a great film.

+16davelle Yoo dude MJ White is not underrated at all, he just keeps himself low-key because he has other important activities going on in his life. MJ White has great discipline of keeping his career of acting, training & family life as a balance. IMO I think that's been the key to his training.

I remember watching this when I was 11 or 12 while I had summer holidays, waking up in the morning at like 9 or 11 am, turning to my phone and watching the movie on youtube, in general I watched this movie 30-45 times, I still love it. Good old days :')
After just finishing watching it for like the tenth time, I think I'' go as far as saying that Blood and Bone is probably the best martial arts movie ever made, mainly because the fight scenes are so original and believable. They're not necessarily long, MJW is very efficient with his moves (i.e. he takes his opponents out as fast as you would expect of a highly skilled fighter) so the fight scenes are not unrealistically long and drawn out. And that last fight seen is pure class. I've never seen a martial arts fight scene so "believably well" choreographed. If anyone can direct me to a more action-packed/realistic movie fight scene, I'd love to see it for myself.

Epic fukin movie."Bone' is the most righteous warrior I ve ever seen in a movie thus far.A true complete warrior,full of compassion, honour,respect and pure fury I had to watch 1:20:-1:123 like eight times.Thats 3 mins worth of clip for 24 mins to get enough of that.This just goes to show that today anyone can pull out a gun a shoot someone, but before they were invented,you needed commitment, skills and a life time of hard work to be the best. This is why Bruce Lee was so iconic when he was making films. I also like watching all of Steven Seagal's films. I truly hope Michael Jai White thinks about making a sequel. His "Bone" character I'm sure can do better than Ving Rhames' Animal movies. And I respected those movies as well. The plot was well put together for a straight to DVD action movie. I've always been a fan of Michael Jai White. If you hadn't watched "Universal Soldier II, that's another decent movie which displays Michael Jai White's awesome martial arts skills with the great Jean Claude Van Damme.

It wasnt like we were suppose to know why he ended up there...the movies plot is basically he is on a mission this isnt one of the movies where the show u his experience in prisn or his life...it just shows us that Bone is a friend of someone who got murdered and he sought out to protect his friend's family

3 thing that I Respect about MJW is he's never afraid to fight anyone, he's also calm, and even though he get's knocked out, he still get's back up on his feet, and that's a heart of a champion
If there is a Blood and Bone 2, they should make it so Bone goes and searches for the person that killed his brother. That would explain him walking into the sunset and telling Pinball that he has some "business to take care of." In my opinion, it would make a great movie that everyone would want to see. I just hope his martial arts are still at its peak and that they include most of the aspects of this movie into the next.

Nah...he's too big. He looks like a hero constantly. Banner, Stark, Hawkeye, and even Thor could blend in on the beach...but this he says "super hero 24/7" with his physique.

Im not usually in to fighting movies, but this was more than that. Had a brilliant story line & one of the best movies ive seen in a while. Cant go wrong with fit men like Michael Jai White & English actor Eamonn Walker. **********
The fact that throughout this entire film there is this underlying debate about what makes a true warrior, skill, vengeance, success, mercilessness, conquering and the brilliant conclusion when comparing all these fighters is that a true warrior is kind.
With the sword fight at the end even though Bone’s guard stance seems anything but Japanese the attacks and one hit return mentality seems more kenjitsu than tai chi. Impressive film and shows a good mix of martial arts.
I liked the sword scene. Caught a blooper from about 1:24:44 to 1:24:48 when the sword is thrown on the ground it doesn't appear on the floor then appears again :)
when he fights hammerman, its a prime example of why you dont fight mad. you are too focused on what you can do to your opponent, and not focused on what they can do to you
The first time I've seen *Mic* was many years ago in his good movie *Spawn [] Hell Spawn* - I'm not saying that was his first movie. If there is a Blood and Bone 2, they should make it so Bone goes and searches for the person that killed his brother. That would explain him walking into the sunset and telling Pinball that he has some "business to take care of." In my opinion, it would make a great movie that everyone would want to see. I just hope his martial arts are still at its peak and that they include most of the aspects of this movie into the next.

With the sword fight at the end even though Bone’s guard stance seems anything but Japanese the attacks and one hit return mentality seems more kenjitsu than tai chi. Impressive film and shows a good mix of martial arts.
