Actually, what she said was that the eye and face creams weren't working for her and the body serum doesn't soak in like she would prefer, by the way. I never purchase those "special" eye/face creams anyway as it's the way these companies make the bucks... but does their Body serum work for me? Absolutely yes.
Thank you for calling out the marketing nonsense! This whole brand sounds iffy, from the claims to the marketing to the subscription model to the prices. It's a no thanks for me all around.
Thanks a lot, Dana,I really needed an unbiased review about this very hyped brand before trying them and I think I have taken the right decision with your help! For us in the EU it is even more expensive as we have to pay shipping and import taxes. Could you please also try Young Goose products?
The body serum product works fine for face and frankly any dry skin elsewhere. I've got very dry skin that breaks out sometimes kind of like yours does, and you're right, while the body serum doesn't feel greasy on me it's also not like it "disappears", but that isn't a bad thing for me as a little of this does go a long way. Retinol never works for me probably because most products are kind of ripoffs that way (overpromising and underdelivering) so I don't even try it. With the OneSkin peptide ingredient, I noticed a difference when I started using the untinted sunscreen - which in that small size is too expensive and I only use zinc oxide based sunscreens anyway - BUT the peptide ingredient still worked. I wouldn't purchase the other more expensive products but yep, the body lotion will get used as long as they make it and as long as I can afford it. Every beauty product overprices and over-markets their big profit products this way with iffy claims, which was why I got the sunscreen to "test" the product before going to the others. Eye and face serums and creams are overpriced by almost every company and yeah, the OneSkin "FAQ" is full of nonsense like 99% of the other companies.. but the body lotion is seriously the only one I've found that ever worked on my skin. Period.
I really wish I saw your video before I bought 3 of their products 😢. I'm having a reaction to the eye cream. Can you please recommend some good anti-aging eye cream and moisturizer? And thanks for the amazing information.
I used this product for several months and recently unsubscribed. It is terribly expensive and i see NO BENEFIT whatsoever. I have only used this product, and my skin is not better. I am sorry i wasted my money and have become very skeptical of all of these influencers (Sinclair etc) who are lining their pockets by recommending these products. Bleh. Thank you for honest reviews.
Ugh, I just bought the serum. I knew it wasn’t going to be worth it but one of their ads caught me in a moment of weakness. I got a large sample of the body lotion and I am not having the same experience with the texture. It soaked right in and feels pretty average in texture.
I would message the company. There are lots of fakes on Amazon these days. I don’t notice an off scent but everyone smells things differently and since they’re not fragranced I’d definitely reach out to the brand and ask
I tried the entire line for 2 months. One of the products made my skin around the bridge of my nose and cheeks itchy and dry. I’m going back to using Zo skin health products which have worked for me before. The body lotion only lasted me a little over 15 days applying all over my body as I usually apply all my body lotions.
Are there products that can be a replacement? There are so many retinal eye creams that are cheap but also go for $100 as well 😂 so it's really hard to know what to pick and what not to pick
I have to chime in. I did the entire process for 12 weeks. My skin was better, softer, smoother, and felt tightened without the pull. You really bashed the eye cream, and it is the best I have ever used. Most, if not all, eye creams are placed far away from the lash line because as the product absorbs and spreads through the skin, it can irritate the eyes. NOT THIS EYE CREAM! I put this on the eyelid, and all the way to the age line top and bottom. My eyes never became irritated. I also put what was left on my fingers around my lips, which has made a large difference. The body I used on my arms a lot. I started to have sagging skin on my arms, which is not as pronounced now. I will continue to use this product and as far as the subscription, you can choose 1, 3, and 6-month subscriptions I use it daily, and if you use the products as suggested you will see a difference. Stop looking for a quick fix and stay dedicated to the product for at least 12 weeks. I never feel like the product sits on my skin and I have dry skin. I think you cut the product and the company short. Like you say you are young.
It’s so wild to me that even now in 2024 I have to remind people that this is my opinion and experience. I’m glad it works for you, but it may not work for everyone. It’s ok to disagree. I know that is hard in the world now, but it’s ok.
What I find weird is that their own “before and after” look strange. The upper eye lid has wrinkle reduction BUT the crows lines have no change whatsoever 🤷♀️ it gives an impression that it affects only selective lines, but not all of them ? It makes no sense.
I remember (at an event I attended) they talked about a clinical trial that was not ex vivo but involved only 10 elderly people. A claim was also made about the body cream where they measured the blood of the users and found less inflammation in the blood (less inflammatory cytokines) after using the body cream. This is cited on their website too. I remember thinking to myself: I might need a little more convincing…
😂 I got suckered into buying the moisturizer. From an influencer. And I looked at the back of the ingredients it's worth noting that the peptide is the last ingredient on the list😅
I find the line cheap, it's very personal how much we spend, that's not a product review, it's a financial analysis. In my opinion the products are great. I ve seen great results, I'm 56 leaving in Greece, no taxes, everything paid by them
You are absolutely right. I used eye, body and face diligently for almost a year a they instructed. No change. This product is total waste of money

My pleasure 😊

Happy to help! I’ve seen Young Goose and will look it them further
Thank you very much, I will highly appreciate your opinions.

This line is not for me!
Yeah, it’s questionable, at best

every time I see their logo I think its lululemon lol
Hahahaha valid

Thanks for the review! Curious if it has a slight off/rancid smell. I purchased off of Amazon and am wondering if I got a bad batch…
I would message the company. There are lots of fakes on Amazon these days. I don’t notice an off scent but everyone smells things differently and since they’re not fragranced I’d definitely reach out to the brand and ask
@@DanaRipperton thank you! I’ll do that. Yeah, it’s hard to define a smell lol. This was somewhere between rancid oil and play dough.

These aren’t retinals and if you believe their marketing, it’s a proprietary peptide, so by that standard there wouldn’t be any replacements.

Maybe try Japanese sunscreens for your body. They’re cheap and really nice to apply. Protect your body as well❤
Thanks!
Can you recommend a specific one?

Yeah, I’m gonna need way more data to back up their claims.

Ugh that is annoying. Nothing wrong with peptides but in minuscule amounts for that price is crazy
@DanaRipperton I forgot to mention the name of the brand is one skin. And it was miserably expensive.
Great review! I saw no benefit after 6m in the face or body moisturizer. Waste of money :(
Can you recommend any product that you find effective in wrinkles reducing
A good retinal/retinol is your best facial product for this
Wow thanks for that

I’m very confused by this comment. 🧐
