After almost 40 years of trying to 'get rid' of childhood trauma you are the first person to ever say that cutting it out like amputation isn't healing. I have wanted it gone rather than carried with me in a better way. There's a lot more to it of course and to me, but whilst I lay on my kitchen floor the idea of getting up eluding me, I listened to you... I go up. Thank you

I am a retired academic doctor. I liked what I did & did what I enjoyed: helping people from different lands and all walks of life, poor to multimillionaire. All patients, all treated with dignity. PTSD has hit me hard on six levels. Thank you for taking me on the journey of Love & Compassion for self & family members who abused me in adulthood. I am beginning today, as at 86 you, I am worthy to find & restore myself to me.
    Best Wishes.

This made me laugh and cry, when he started to say "it's okay forgive others" I remember thinking 'but I'm not sure I can forgive myself' I remembered school, sitting in community meeting and people joking about how I was the most hated person in class. I was unfazed back then, indifferent of the hurt that was being caused subconsciously. I suddenly had a flash back and realized that I was unworthy, then the meditation said "but most importantly forgive yourself". It hit me like a ton of bricks, I felt pin pricks all over my body and cried. It was really healthy, I had no idea how much I've been holding onto.

I feel like I am getting to my core to release the pain and trauma stored in my body that is holding me back. You are a true light worker and I hope I can use my experiences to help others in the future x God bless x Namaste x

Just over an hour ago, my PTSD was triggered. My thoughts ran wild, anxiety sky high, fear, not knowing what to do to make it stop. Then I thought, I’ll meditate. I found this. And I can’t believe how calm and serene I’m feeling now. Thank you 🙏

I was having a breakdown and was triggered by something that caused my PTSD, and thought my life was pointless, and had a lot of negative emotions towards some of the decisions I've made in my life that have led up to where I am today. This mediation guide was very empowering, and touched my soul. Although some of my energy seemed to be drained, I still believe it was a beneficial experience and I appreciate you allowing this to be free to hear for anyone who may need it in the moment. 30 minutes ago I was crying, and self loathing, in the present I am calm, and very much at peace with the issue that had triggered me. Thank you so much.

I have PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and physiological problems associated with my traumas. Thank you for your videos. I have found this one for PTSD & the one for Panic Attacks to be the two I turn to most often. Just awoke in the middle of the night feeling horribly shaky & panicked, so started to listen to this and it helps me almost immediately. It doesn’t go away entirely right away, but I feel like someone is there with me, reassuring me, while I remind myself that it will eventually subside. Thank you so much.

When you said to tell my painful memories to go away.... saying that and picturing everything that I keep inside that is hurting me so badly, I cried my eyes out for about 5 minutes. I have a hard time even crying because my traumas have such a hold on me... suddenly I feel free, even if only for awhile. I now hope to have a happy dream and not a nightmare tonight. This is the most free I have felt in years.

This meditation is amazing. Thank you.
Like some of the other commenters said, the part where you focus on self-forgiveness is incredibly powerful. This meditation speaks to aspects of PTSD that might not make sense to people who haven't experienced it. There's so much self-directed punishment and hatred at times...and that, coupled with the immense shame and the anger, can lead to a string of poor choices and impulsive actions that we can barely (if at all) explain to ourselves...much less to anyone else--particularly if these choices hurt our loved ones or our professional relationships along the way. This unintended legacy of failures only fuels the self-punishment/self-hatred to loop and repeat and re-emerge to do more damage to ourselves and those who've tried to support us. Just trying to "get rid of" the damage as if we could "amputate" it will only hobble ourselves. True healing is something else entirely, and this meditation will be a regular part of my approach. Many Thanks.

Hi Jason, This is a really positive and comforting video. I suffer from an anxiety disorder called conversion disorder. It is caused by traumatic events in the past. It's been a big help with my bad memories and scary flashbacks. People were mean to me in the past because they did not understand my anxiety. When I got to the part where you said to love and forgive yourself I cried with tears of relief. That made me realize that what happened in the past was never my fault. And I survived and came out OK. I have a really great support team with my therapists, friends and family. But I am so glad I reached out to you. Thank you so much for all your help and support. All the Best, Alexis.

I have listened to this meditation so many times in the past to sleep. This was the first time I apologise to my organs and my body for not respecting them enough and taking care of them enough. I had an eating disorder growing up and I had one attempt five years ago. This is the first time I forgive and apologise to my body for doing so. Thankfully, I am in a much better place, now.

Okay. Thank you for this. It was a very deep journey for me. I cried. I have been crying a lot lately. I guess that's okay. I forgive myself for what I've done. I forgive those who hurt me. I forgive myself for how I reacted and survived. I survived. I am a resplendent being as we all are. Thank you Jason.

thank you so much for this video. I let me forgive myself for my traumas. I never even realized until you said to forgive yourself before you can forgive others. and it just hit me that for over 10 years, I let myself think it was my fault. and I finally understand this anger I've had all these years. I know it is just the tip of the iceberg but I have let go of something that has haunted me for more than a decade. Thank you you have no idea the weight that has started to lift. thank you

+twinkle Bell Because of tragic past events, I used to have severe panic attacks, and I didn't no why, since discovering, Jason Stephenson work, I have knowledge and love. I have talked to many psychology, I thought something was wrong, I knew it was something wrong, but, no help at all, they would piss me off by brushing me off like it wasn't nothing and some psychology had the nerves to begin telling me about their own problems like I was there to counsel them. I gave up, isolated myself out of fear, but I have been going out enjoying life more and more since listening to your material. I am so peaceful now. weight has been lifted. I have been stressed for 15 years after many trauma experiences, such as being raped, molested, abused, neglected, but I am loved. I am beautiful. No matter how many times I was told I was beautiful, I never believed it because deep inside, I feel useless. No one knew the level of my pain, but today, I CAN literally say I AM FREE ONCE IN FOR ALL, again, thanks

Thank you Jason. Love your voice, so calming. This was very helpful. I surprised myself as tears just poured out during the "Forgiveness" part. I'm known for being such a positive, happy, inspiring person. I do choose to focus on all that I'm grateful for and love, in my own life, in the life of others and the world. I direct my mind most of the day in chosen thoughts of gratitude. I stay positive for the things I hope for, that have been and that are now. But in truth, even though my life is so much better than so many in the world, I'm so angry how it's turned out. I know I have so much to be grateful for and I AM!! But it is NOT what I dream of, it is NOT what I feel and see inside. That in spite of my immense efforts - physically, spiritually - gratitude prayer, nutritionally, in terms of conscious listening/communication, service, relations, etc, so little is the result. I've had extreme exhaustion for decades. Most don't know. The few who do, were so surprised..."I'd never know if you didn't tell me". I never show it or complain. It has stopped me periodically, but I refuse, I live as well as I can feeling crushingly exhausted most of the time. Have studied endless videos on nutrition/how to overcome CF and keep updating and improving on that score. I have and do live such a clean life, I could be a monk LOL. This is the MOST hurtful to be so exhausted all the time. I feel so angry about it. And the dream that I most of all have and continue to develop in spite of this constant exhaustion, stays out of reach. This meditation helped me release a lot of that pain that I just try to be positive thru. I tell myself the truth, I say to myself for small periods, I feel really angry about XXX, or I feel so hurt by XXX and say: I welcome this feeling, I honor it, I hear you, I have compassion for you, You don't need to go away, or be quiet, you are welcomed, honored, and heard....but the underlying frustration....this mediation is a great help in releasing it........thank you.....I need to release this upset thru tears...not just thoughts/words.....will benefit from this regularly.....THANK U!!!

I was in a serious car accident on the highway over a week ago. A bear ran in front of my car, there was nothing I could do, we collided. The bear ran into the woods injured, my car was written off as a total loss. My physical injuries are minor but my emotional ones have been difficult to address and heal. I too have a similar tale to tell about repeated traumas in my life. I notice some similarities to most of these comments.
My heart goes out to those who are in pain. Those who suffer and feel they have been traumatized, as well as those who are the perpetrators of trauma.
I wonder why humans react like they do and especially wonder why there is so little sympathy for those who suffer from maladies that are perceived to be willful rather than symptoms of a disease. Instead victims of trauma must also bear the burden of social stigmata, shame humiliation and blame.
I feel more connected to the cosmos than I do here on earth. My spirit longs for release. Love is and should NOT be conditional.
Thank you for your hypnosis series here on utube. So many people are so troubled and they often fall target to people who would take advantage of their vulnerability.
When I connect with those who suffer, rather than weakness I see people who are sensitive, caring, artistic and profoundly beautiful.
Robin Williams once said we should be kind to people because we don’t know what they’ve been through. No truer words have been spoken.

Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. For such a long time I felt like locked up inside, not able to feel my true self dearly. Not able to feel my grieve about an physical and emotional abusive relationship I’ve been trough. Not able to letting go my feelings of guilt against my children who suffered so much because I couldn’t leave their father earlier. You, Jason, made me cry. Tears are falling down now that I am writing this. And it feels so good! Finally! Finally I’m starting to setting free my inner feelings and my grief, but also my hope for a wonderful future. This meditation helps me so much, I’m going to listen to it everyday starting to feel this: I’m saved, I’m loved, I’m beautiful.

🙏🏻 Thank you Jason 🌟 I am in my 60's and suffered from PTSD since childhood. I have never felt safe and secure. I was in survival mode most of my childhood in fight or flight mode. Mostly flight and the constant adrenalin caused essential hypertension. I wake still from nightmares and anxiety attacks. I have visited many therapists over the years with not much success. I will listen to your anxiety meditation now. I found this meditation helpful Bless you Jason 💜

This is one of the most beautiful meditations I have ever listened to! As a psychologist, as well as someone who is also striving toward my own personal healing and growth, I have listened to a lot of meditations and I am always looking for new ones to recommend to my patients. This one is so fabulous. Do you have a written transcript that I could also share?

Thanks Jason, you are helping me so much. I am struggling to break free from the effects of narcissistic bullying. The past three years have been hell and I blame myself for not realizing that I was in danger sooner. Your message and your gentle delivery are helping me to understand that it was not my fault. I have a long way to go still but will get there by listening to your meditations. Namaste 🙏

Dear Jason, Thank you so much for your deep-reaching words. They brought forth a flood
of tears: first, of pain, gradually, of relief. All over the world, I hope, many hearts are now'
lighter and closer to healing. You have helped me so many times, ever since I began
to listen to you because of my horrible insomnia and chronic pain. YOU helped me sleep
then, and on many nights since. I wish you many blessings and thank you again. Marcelle

This is one of the best meditations I have ever heard for PTSD, and I have been studying, and listening to them for a while now. These words are written by someone who knows exactly what people with PTSD need to hear most. This brain illness is devastating. This meditation is perfect for those of us dealing with it second by second.

Jason: thank you for this amazing message of hope and recovery for myself and others who has harbored grief and sadness after a series of unfortunate events of trauma. Currently, I am using meditation and EMDR work to shift old attitudes and beliefs that no longer serve a purpose in my life.
The Sage; the gift of experience and age is a positive image of how to see oneself after the unfortunate events have left scars on the soul. Thanks again. More suggestions? I like these guided meditations.

Maybe a Meditation on LEARNING HOW TO LOVE YOURSELF would help me & 1,000 of others was my idea to share. But PTSD/Massive anxiety is my problem. Thank you for helping me not feel alone but truly discovering my issue. Much Much love.
