Thank goodness you guys are doing what you do. I don’t know Gibson that well. I report all the scam fenders. I just listed my fender for over $300,000 so that people would see the other $300,000 fender hyper beast is a fake listing that reverb seems to not want to take down.
I use PayPal outside of Reverb all the time. Just need to make sure you know who you're dealing with. Talk on the phone, it's fairly easy to see if someone is genuine or not. Reverb fees and having to pay taxes when buying is bullshit.
Thanks for sharing this I believe I've been scammed but they only got like $70 but that really makes no sense. Why not put an expensive guitar on there opposed to a moderately priced pedal?
Ebay removes those if you call them. I would have not continued after the 'refund' at the beginning. Wow never buy a guitar without seeing full pics of the front and back including the serial numbers.
i bought a 24 inch short scale strat and it was not 24 inch I found out later it that it is a 22.5 inch 3/4 for 700.00 MIJ....I never buy whst I javent played...I wish I could return...Oh well NEVER again.
There’s a lot out there trying to scam you. I’ve done the opposite actually. The seller didn’t ask to use PayPal. I told the guy I’d buy it for a couple hundred less and pay through friends and family. That way I pay less and he’d get more. I’ve lucked out that I didn’t scam myself. Lol.
There are people that know the loopholes and sit around doing this all day. The old rule stands true. If it sounds too good... Anyway , in person purchases are best. Craigslist every morning. I do alright
Good content. Background music was a little too loud.
Who is the guy to the right, and how hard is he tripping? I honestly didn't even notice him until like 5 minutes in.
His name is Dillion. He used to work for me and is a good friend. He tried so hard to sit perfectly still the entire time we filmed.
@@GuitarChimp Props to Dillon, I had to restart the video to prove to myself he was there the whole time!
@@machete8614 I rewound and checked to make sure that dude was breathing
I thought it was a mannequin
I got ripped off on reverb. I made a sale and did not get paid. Taking them to court.
Background music is so loud and annoying. Felt like I was in a bar ruing to have a conversation.

I’ll do friends and family for people I’ve done a ton of business with. Too many red flags on my deal! -Jerald
..seems or like an advertisement for gibson single pickup guitar
The price was a HUGE red flag. WTF were you thinking???

That guitar at that price? Obvious toolery. I wouldn’t have even wasted my time.
...well paypal would work off sight as long as the payment's not friends n fam..
The background music is annoying and distracting.
Dude wtf with the background music?! Please don't do that again
Scammers need to up their grammar game
So, if you had been scammed, you'd have to call your channel Guitar Chump.🤕
if you got your money back it's not a scam
So, if a bank robber returns the stolen money, no theft took place. Really?
