I actually remember the day that I almost bought a TTM guitar, I was halfway through the transaction when my bandmate (who also told me about it) called me and told me that I should wait a bit, to see if there would be reviews on RUclips or other sites. So we waited a while and found no reviews. And after almost 4 years we finally understood that it was a scam and were thankful that we didn't fall for it. Thank you for putting some attention on this! Keep it up bro! 🤘🏻

Had chance to try 2 of their guitars and they are great, especially due to prices were around 300 US$ on 2nd hand market with that wood quality, great necks as luthier i have to say they are much better value then some fancy names. Are they scam or not i have no clue but from this and other videos i see they lied and OK guess what other brands lie even more not in the same manner but they lie. For example when they say ''We designed guitar with a...'' dude a player don't design guitar at all it's a lie. Then lies in marketing about quality and have you ever seen any lab test of any guitar that it proves their marketing hype? maybe from a pickups or pedals? I haven't.

I was endorsed with TTM in 2019. Went to the 2019 NAMM show, Lance paid for a big house that had a pool and hot tub. We each had our own rooms.
I was supposed to get a signature 7 string, and he was supposed to bring it at this name show. When I got to California, he shows up and all he had was a seven-string neck. No body, no frets on it, just the neck. He kept telling me how amazing they were
Right there, I started kind of panicking. Because I realized that I came all the way to California to play at the NAMM booth and had no guitar to do it on. Because he told me not to bring anything and that he would provide me with a guitar. We got into it about why we came all the way to Florida for this. Was a huge disappointment. That was just the beginning too lol
If you want, I would love to chat with you and you can use my story as another added piece to the puzzle.
Luckily I'm endorsed with Ernie ball music man now. Don't have to worry about this nonsense.
Lance just added me on Facebook too. What a dork

But you don't mind playing and showing on a YT Ormsby Guitar, that dude is just a successful manipulator and guitars aren't better then TTM. Plus He lies, and Rusty Cooley lies as well by showing that amazing jack on the back of guitar as ''something new'', x companies did it before O... In case of RC signature they obviously copy Yamaha super starts from 80's..
Imagine 100's of kids born after 2000's who have no idea about that, they will get a terrible guitar that is copy for a lot of $, and you have helped such brand. I wonder were is moral in all that ? As long as someone pays some people to endorse their products they seems to not care about such things, or they were tricked along the way?
i'm not defending TTM, but its strange game or moral. Due to all that guitar music is vanishing for the last 15+ years. Percentage of people who learn to play HM /Rock, Blues etc guitar is smaller each year.
Kid will rather became a DJ, or make some electronic music then to listen lies how they need a specific brand of guitar that cost above 1000$, amp above 2000$, pedals above 200 $ etc in order to play some gigs or to be a ''pro''.

    "Endorsements" don't work that way.
It is the ARTIST that offers their popularity to endorse a product, connecting their name and notoriety to a product or company for the purpose of advertisement and increased sales.
An endorsement is meant to get the fans of the noted artist to want the same product that the artist says they like and use.
The company will often compensate the artist for endorsing the product with money or free products, some even going so far as to offer a product with the artists name actually on the product, or being designed or modified to the artist's ideas/desire.
So - the company DOES NOT endorse the artist, though they may offer an artist an endorsement DEAL - an agreement/contract for the artist to endorse the product and the value and means of compensation.

I was just getting ready to type that out, what a sham that was. I never fell for it but I read a bunch about it and I was on the 357 customs site looking at the deal many times. I also spent lots of time reading many web forums about that shady deal.

Never heard about this guy. Its worse than that one guy that was taking joyo pedals, covering up the joyo logo on the pcb's, piggybacking a couple extra parts on to the pcb, repainting the pedal housings and selling them as his own.

I'm sure the guy you're talking about is trash but Keisel, makes a damn good guitar. I have no idea what kind of ppl they are, no idea if they're honest or not about how they're made or any of that- but I know the one I played was a top-notch guitar and looked great. Granted it's just one sample- maybe it was a fluke but- a friend of mine got a beautiful super Strat in Copper- much like Phil McKnight's Keisel- and it's amazing.

I just checked out the "TTM" website, and after a bit of digging, I was able to figure out exactly what their guitars are.
Jackson JS32 Dinkys with the logo sanded off and a decal reapplied. They're also, it seems, replacing the neck screw plate with a generic plate.
The giveaway, of course, was the headstock. It's a Jackson reverse headstock shape. No one else uses that particular headstock shape, because it's a Jackson trademark.
Why Jackson isn't suing the living shit out of this guy is beyond me. I mean, they at least have him for trademark infringement with the headstock shape, as well as the whole "made in USA" thing when those guitars are, in fact, made overseas (I believe in Indonesia).
So, folks, if you're tempted to buy one... go buy a Jackson Dinky instead. It's literally the same guitar for a lot less money.

    • @sixstringtv1
