  • Reverb Scams - sellers beware - check out what happened to me.
I sold a Heritage Audio Jr 73 - and it was returned to me under weird circumstances - and now it does not work.
    My lessons leared:
    1. Take better pictures of your reverb gear.
    2. Heritage Audio is garbage now to me - I'll never buy another piece if they don't repair their own gear.
    Will Reverb protect me?
Will Reverb protect the buyer instead?
Will Canada Post insurance help here?
    I don't know.

Great video and commentary I think if you would have kept it for 2 years it definitely would have been worth it I mean $30 a month is not bad for a nice piece of gear

Unfortunately I'm not sure I used this piece for more than 2 hours. I was always reaching for my Dakings first.

I'd probably not only record it the serial number, but also stamp it somewhere where it can't be easily replaced. Or have it in multiple places, including the PCB.

For sure - from now on! I'm getting tired of this.

That sucks. I do have 10 heritage 73j's and eqs as well and been using them for couple years with no issue. Your scrapes on the top couldnt have just disappeared. Something is up. Hope if and when i need service it will be possibe. I always thought any issue would be fixed by them....now i wonder......very disappointed to hear that. Thanks for video.

Yes I've never been in this situation. I currently have both the money and the broken thing here - waiting to see what Reverb will do. The blast of messages I got from the guy for me is the strangest part - he was absolutely frantic ... it's not normal. He either did a swap scam.... or maybe he plugged this into his rack and his rack smoked it... I have no idea, I can only speculate. Will be interesting to see what Reverb does with this. I WILL do a follow up video for sure.

Revern insisted I take it back , and I couldn't be completely sure the guy wasn't telling thr truth until I got it.back in my hands. Looking back - I'm convinced the buyer swapped one of the boards. The situation is just so weird.
