Thank you Liza. I have re watched this as it is using detailed pieces which are smaller. This is such a great video tutorial and I would certainly recommend to all. Especially beginners please do give it a try. I am very much a beginner and was able to follow along using one of your details patterns from your on line 'Paper Piecers' group. Managed no problem from start to finish. I think I will practice on a 3 inch pattern with some tea bag paper that I have. As I think this may be easier for the very small designs which I like to use on cards and in mixed sewing media. Thank you once again. :)
You make it look so easy. I made a dragonfly wall hanging years ago and once I finally got going, it was actually fun, and it looked awesome. I'm hoping to learn how to paper piece again. Thanks for the pattern(s) and videos.
FPP is my favorite way to piece by far. This showed up in my feed so I just figured I would watch to see how different people do different methods. I would like to say my favorite FPP tool is the add a quarter and add an eighth rulers! They make the trimming super fast and easy. Use the add a quarter ruler for medium to larger size pieces and for some of those super tiny pieces where it can get a bit tedious or bulky the add an eighth ruler is good.
