@12Ahoc arcane isn't hard at all, yall just watch arcane guides that overcomplicate arcane Fire is the worst spec out the two, it's playable but y settle for mid damage in a class that can out dps almost every class
@@12Ahocdo not be fooled my friend, fire mage in my opinion have always been one of the hardest and most demanding spec in the entire game, probably only beaten by subtle rogue. The level of punishment for miss casting once is detrimental.

Do you think for a player that isn't as good as you at playing mage that fire might be an overall dps increase compared to frost/arcane given their complexity to min-max their output? I'm averaging 1-1.1 million overall in +8s on frost without 4 pc but it feels like I cannot play around splinterstorm properly even with the weak aura. Thanks in advance if you answer.
I can never generate those amount of heating up’s. I still don’t understand how you have charges of Phoenix and Ignites, while you are still able constantly spam Pyro. I cannot replicate this.
I really struggle with how different the procs feel based on travel time of the spell. Also causes the hardcast pyro's, I guess this is why ppl do the jumping? Does that mean it's fine/expected to not have 100% perfect gcd uptime?
Yeah people jump or strafe to avoid the hardcast pyros. You definitely want to have 100% gcd uptime, anything less is just lost damage. But it can be pretty annoying trying to react to procs which is why if you have that gcd downtime youll often start casting a fireball. And if your prior in flight spells crit you can capitalize off that or not.
Viable vs better option are different questions. You can definitely play fire in all content atm and excel. Arcane is a bit better than fire atm still in ST, but situation and fights can change that.
Yo, dude, isn't phoenix flame casted on cd? Just like fire blast, or should I delay/ignore it at some point because of a skill or buff or something similar?
Ideally you dont have 0 pf when you proc flames fury. And you can cast it on cd but doing it into trying to rng a heating up with fireball after if you dont have fire blast is not great.

If you want more ST/better filler in keys drop master of flame for pyrotechnics. I'd recommend pyroing till about 4-5 targets.
I guess pyronif there are big prio targets in the pack too?

Haste>Mastery, haste is good for casting mastery is good for dot dmg. More cast more dmg+dot dmg

Yes that would be good, can be tough depending on how late you have your combust cast in your precast. You can also macro a fireblast to your combust.
