best way i found this bike is useful in city is to stick to 4 gears.. like good old days.. below 60kmph, 5th is a liability. but again, my understanding is, it doesn't need to be in 5th gear to get to your desired speed in cities we live in, where 60kmph could be most relevant. and i got a mileage of 35 in cities with 4 gears.. so mileage shouldn't be a concern.. unless it's somethng else, feel free to share it please@@kristrails07

it has everything that i need from royal enfield....traction,slipper clutch,alloy wheels,bigger fuel tank 15lit than 13 lit from royal,smooth vibration less engine,exhaust thumpness...........only thing problem is it comes from honda bigwing.
Bro if you're decided to spend around 2.5lakhs . Bigwing is not a big issue.. Waiting and criying for RE products , spending to honda is much better and bigwing technicians are well trained mind that, 😊 they also works on hondas liter class bikes

Owned Karizma, NS 200, Dominar 400 and now Highness must say an absolute delight ! Relaxed, refined, smooth and a stunner the weight distribution is amazing feels very nimble & agile very comfortable and most of my ride is Bangalore bumper to bumper traffic 🚦 , mileage is 32-35 currently completed 2nd service, you need to test ride the bike before judging & comparing with RE an absolute gem 💎
The only thing that's holding the honda 350 series back are their 'Big Wing' platform. It really doesn't seem needed. I bought a RE Classic reborn today and the only reason for me to buy it over the cb350 was the unavailability of Big Wing showroom in my city.
Firstly RE didn't invent the classic style or that sand colour that their 350s or 500s have. Check out much older Honda bikes like the CB450, 750, CD200 etc and u will see why. Honda isn't stupid to make a bike like this. At least this is a well put together bike and makes sense to me.

We know the Honda engines were already reliable but with this retro design and if the after sale service of this cb350 can be easy to maintain then Bye Bye Royal Enfield as all these time RE showrooms have a given a tough time to their customers with pathetic after sales service as they were the monopoly.
You have a point. Competition meant to improve quality and it’s apparent now with RE as they started providing good service to its customers. Because of RE, Honda also started launching world class vehicles in India. 😊

Purely look-wise: I ride a Honda Rebel 500 in Canada, and frankly, this looks even more premium than my 4.8 lakh machine... The Rebel has a lot of plastic pieces and fairings while this is all metal & chrome... Looks super classy, and tasteful! Also as a designer, RE's colors rarely ever get me excited, they're dull and lackluster, and branding / decals are often quite obnoxious, loud, and tacky... they often look like they've been printed in a local sticker shop. Look how minimalist and clean the branding / badging is on this Honda... perfect subtlety, allowing the motorcycle to show off rather than the brand! I'm moving back to India and will test ride this and Jawa 42 :) ! Ty for the review.

This bike seems promising, but Honda seems to have miscalculated the things about service. As I checked, this bike is sold via Bigwing. If we talk about Maharashtra, Bigwing showrooms are not available at every District place. I personally liked this bike, but in my city I am not sure normal Honda showroom will make this bike available. Whereas I have RE showroom. Being a user of daily commuter bike, I will prefer a bike with service center around 10-15 KM redius from my home. Nearest Bigwing showroom is around 150-200 KM, it will not make sense to spend a day to get bike service.
I'm from jalgaon and purchased cb350 rs from ahmednagar bigwing. I also have to go around 200 km for servicing. But still I chose it knowing this thing because this bike need to be taken to service center just for servicing otherwise not a signal time it needs to see service center. And in my case service center guys sent me engine oil and oil filter through courier for my 1st service and I have changed it with local mechanic as there is nothing much to be done in 1st servicing. You can also ask for the same thing at nagpur bigwing.
RE has really messed up with the new bullet. And Honda has just hit the sweet spot with a perfect balance of retro and tech. If Honda takes up the competition seriously then we will not see bullet going till its 100 years.
Instead of aping RE, Honda should it's bring the entire 300cc range in India. I would love to ride the CL300 and the Rebel 300. The CRF 300 would give Himalayan/390X/400x a run for their money. It has already started making CB300r here, why not bring in economies of scale and make all of them? Honda can never beat RE by aping it but only by staying true to itself. Give Indians the same world class products that are available in SEA and China, and see the premium segment become honda dominant as well.
@@dv9239 The copied the design cues but improved the engines, in India they copied even the under powerd engine. A CB300 with the same 286cc engine as one found in CB300R would have been a far better motorcycle.
RE is now like the king with no clothes, after Triumph and Honda is eating away it's territory, sooner or later they will open their showrooms in every towns.
I want it to switch my RE Classic 350. Love the looks and feel of it but, RE is put together so poorely that Honda had an easy job to fix the flaws and make it a great reliable bike.
priority is comfort and soft suspension as my ride will be on bad roads and potholes handling and bhp doesnt matter which is more suitable for me classic or cb currently owning classic 350 uce 2019 model
I Own both RE and Honda, Honda is far better in comfort, plus RE takes too much energy from rider unlike Honda. But mind you both are stiff. If you want softer ones, check out Harley X440, might be more suited to your needs in this segment. Else you can also check Himayalan, Scram or Yezdi Adventure. Also you might find better comfort in 150-200cc (depends on your choice and riding style) segment. If you are willing to opt for it.

People who are saying it’s copy of classic 350, please know that Honda has been producing cb series from long time. This model follows the design philosophy from cb750 which was introduced in 70’s. No hate for Royal Enfield as I’m big fan of their retro styled motorcycles however you get solid reliability from Honda which RE can work upon.
Honda started off by imitating the British bikes and the CB 350 does not look like the CB 750 from the 70s at all. I appreciate the H'ness and the RS but this is Honda simply jumping on to the modern classic bandwagon by making a blatant copy of the Enfield Desert Storm colorway.

Sir ji, what about the battery ? Has it been changed or they are still providing the "Bekaar" Tata Yuva batteries??? My 2020 Highness alongwith many other users faced battery issues, which Honda never acknowledged...
Also, these round mirrors were initially rejected and replaced (with the Avenger Square Chrome Mirrors) by many CB 350 users, including myself... You said the mirrors are well positioned, does it serve the purpose ?

The gearing is tall but the engine has more torque and comes in lower down in rev range. This will win any drag race with classic 350 as you can see in the revzilla drag race

Here in kerala each district has 1 or 2 bigwings..And in my area there are 3 bigwings within 40kms..😂

Its looking highness wearing classic clothes...silencer though is well placed..it somewhat gives bigwing bike feel

Sir ji, what about the battery ? Has it been changed or they are still providing the "Bekaar" Tata Yuva batteries??? My 2020 Highness alongwith many other users faced battery issues, which Honda never acknowledged...
Also, these round mirrors were initially rejected and replaced (with the Avenger Square Chrome Mirrors) by many CB 350 users, including myself... You said the mirrors are well positioned, does it serve the purpose ?

Only Con of this engine is less torque at bottom and mid . If they had treated this issue politely, the sales of Royal Enfield would have gone down drastically
Deliberately tall geared for fuel economy. This can get 45 kmpl if driven calmly.
Gearing has been done for better mileage as its Honda it will deliver good mileage.
The gearing is tall but the engine has more torque and comes in lower down in rev range. This will win any drag race with classic 350 as you can see in the revzilla drag race
