You're knocking it out the park with these videos lately guys! We've followed you for many years now and the editorial content and production quality just gets better and better. We've loved the Father/Son (or Son/Father) relationship throughout this time of course and were a little sad when we thought the 'Ole Man was potentially relocating to Spain. But when he joined you in Rutland - normal service was resumed 🙂. Finally, manufacturers are waking up to realise that you should now be considered every bit as relevant as the mainstream journalists for bike-related content and you're no longer being ignored by any of them - thanks entirely to your hard work, determination and self-belief. WELL DONE fellas! Right, I'm off to watch more of your videos which have unfortunately become a small back catalogue for me due to my work commitments and other distractions 🙂
RE really hit the mark with this. The proportions looks absolutely great and finally they understood that bikes shouldn't be short! That extra length gives the perfect lines to the bike.
You lucky, lucky things. Went for a short ride on Thursday, it was 1 degree c, there was ice on the road under the trees and my fingers were numb. Nice to see you guys soaking up the sunshine. The Bear looks really good and at that price could be well worth considering for a second bike.
India is hugely populated country..I hope you have a pleasant experience in India. Just try to enjoy the chaos as you will not be able to experience it anywhere else in the world. If you have any bad experiences just remember not every Indian is indecent. Thanks for coming to India and god bless you guys.
After seeing this Darcy at the bike show this week. I would buy one, and a good price. RE has really upped the quality on these new bikes. Even I love the look of the new Hymalian
Cards on the table I am not a fan as I absolutely loved the old one and wished they put a bigger engine in that. I was just wondering what other people thought and if I was the odd one out etc. 😊
The black classic 650 is flat out gorgeous, so much so that you just wanna have it in your living room as a sculpture and not ruin it on muddy streets. The bear is 30 percent less and 50 percent more practical.
I was afraid a big ape on a bear wouldn’t look pretty, but the old man doesn’t appear to dwarf the bike at all. I think I would be comfortable on this.
Spent a couple of months in goa in the early nineties. Sparked my interest in getting a bike licence (spent the time on a honda scooter) . Now over 30 yrs later Im going to get my first bike. The Bear is a strong contender.
Classic 650, with twin seat, rack, and POTENTIALLY, some "fishtail", low profile cans! Get your grubby little mits on a pair of these and tell us how they compare! My dream shed would have a ""Bear" AND a "Classic" (kitted out for touring!)
Wow, congratulations on this coup. You must be the 1st to actually review the Bear on the road/dirt track from a Brit perspective . Brilliant 👏 👏 👏 👏 plus with the 650 clasic perfect 👌 all in situ of the maker.
Hi from Australia. Just picked up a Himalayan 450 about a month ago and loving it. Then RE bring out the Bear. Damn you Royal Enfield, determined to keep me poor.
Great review guys, I was at the nec on Monday and I thought this was the bike for me. I’ve owned two of the interceptors since they were launched because I love that engine but couldn’t get the riding position how I wanted. Sat and stood on this and it was spot on . Pity Ive just bought a guerrilla 450, I can see me trading it in. I’m in Goa on the 27 th January for two weeks so I’ll hire one just to confirm it. I have a Hunter 350 as well, as a second bike, it’s actually the second one I’ve bought because I missed the first one so much 😅 Enfield seems to get it right nearly every time since Sidarth took over. Great channel by the way 👍 You’ll love Goa. All the best Brenden.
It was great to meet you guys at the Royal Enfield Cafe (just as you guys were leaving the place). I'm glad you're enjoying your time in Goa. Look forward to seeing your take on the classic 650.
I was last in Goa in 92 and loved it !!! Great review guys . My first bike in 76 was a Honda SL 125 street scrambler and from what i can see it looks like my last bike is gonna be a street scrambler . This bike has soul !!! Look forward to your upcoming content guys . Ride safe and enjoy Goa !!!
You guys look super cool 😎 just bimbling around India on the 650 Bear! You must be having the time of your life out there! Great video! More content like this please! 🙏
Always good to see the both of you together. Your enthusiasm for the new Bear is compelling! Would be so good at the conclusion of your Indian adventure, to do a chat video summarizing the whole trip. I love my two Royal Enfield bikes and look forward to seeing and test riding the Classic 650 when they reach the US. Take care fellows!
I cannot wait for the spring to come and this bike to become available at local dealers. They did many improvements - I hope some of them will make it to other 650 models. I am still deciding though, which one sounds better - Bear or Interceptor.
Great video guys, as a 6ft tall guy this is the first bike in years I would buy tomorrow and likely will buy in the new year. The Triumph 400 x appeals but doesn’t quite have enough umph for the journeys I plan to do. 👍
Holy Cow (pun intended), that's not only the most beautiful RE i've ever seen, it's one of the most beautiful bikes i've ever seen! Would i chose this over the 650 Classic? I think i'll wait for that rview first.
A beautiful and good bike. To be perfect, all it needed was a central stand (it can't because of the exhaust) and wheels that could carry tubeless tires.
Another great video, they keep getting better and better. As a Triumph Fanboi I have to say RE is knocking it out of the park these days. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip.
Great video as usual.... no ...actually better than usual. Looking forward to seeing more of your tour of South India.. Seen any elephants on the road yet? PS...I have to agree! This is the best content you've produced. Onward and upward!
Great review, guys. I have an interceptor at the moment and I think this bike hits the sweet spot. I love the bear with the turquoise frame and white tank. I think it would be stunning with polished side covers. Agree that it will be interesting to see what exhaust options come out for it.
Great vidéo! And SUPER great 411 T-shirt 😉 Seem you ride perfectly well in India 👏🏼👏🏼 You added all the informations I wanted to hear from you about the Bear !
Man, iam so happy and excited to see you guys here in India. To be honest it was a surprise seeing you guys here. Travel safe and enjoy your stay. Can't wait for the next video. Welcome to India💌
If I didn't already have a Triumph 400x Scrambler, I'd have a Bear 650, the weight is the issue for me... 216kg as opposed to 179kg and longer travel suspension on the Scrambler 400... the Bear 650 looks brilliant though... great vid and good luck with the trip lads... ride safe...👍😎
Kudos to RE for their continual improvements while maintaining their heritage. A prime example this. And Sr actually fits this bike well. 650cc and this overall design makes for such a versatile bike and at an affordable price. Would love to own one but the nearest dealer is 4 hours away. Hopefully that will change given the popularity of the brand.
Great vid guys and glad to see you are living the dream! The bike is outstanding. Very Triumph Scrambler 1200xc but in a more all round bike package and half the price! Bloody love it!
Not really interested in scramblers, but that looks great and more of an everything-bike. I agree about the off-centre speedo and forks, but they aren't too offensive I guess. Well done RE (again). I just bought a Bullet 350 so I'm Royal Enfield biased now! Lovely to see you in India. Looking forward to more.
This is the bike we've been waiting for. My only complaint - extra cost option for a bash guard, on a scrambler? I think what I'd really like is a "scramblerised" Classic in a Signals paint scheme.
Best motorcycle channel on RUclips. Thank you chaps for many hours of quality entertainment. The Bear is a handsome machine but i am particularly looking forward to your coverage of the Classic 650.
Fantastic presentation of a great RE ridden through a lovely scenery 👍 At last a mudguard making the Ol'Man happy, I suppose enjoy your time in India, lads!
Really appreciate all the efforts you’ve been putting on your videos lately including the Hindi version. Really liked it!!!!…. And obviously welcome to India..
Bear 650 it is for me instead of the Classic 650. I might've gone for the Classic 650 but it inherited too much from the Meteor/Shotgun in its frame for my taste. Wow both, what a fantastic video, you have both come a long way since I first started watching you over the last few years. If it were me between the RE Bear 650 and the RE Classic 650 I would have the RE Bear 650. Please keep these professionally produced videos coming. PS: I also look forward to when you both do your next Darcy & Dad video chats/questions and answers.😃
Great video guys. Really excited about your India trip. Yeah, the Bear looks great, just seen it at Motorcycle Live and it's a beauty. The last clip of Darcy riding really captured the engine sound and it's fabulous. Looking forward to seeing you both on Classic 350s. I've mentioned this before but it's down to the Ol man and Dobsie that I bought mine so can't wait to see you guys riding them. Enjoy your trip.
I like the Bear, will have to start saving and then convince my wife that it's okay for me to have 2 road bikes, 1 sidecar, a 1971 CB500 track bike and a 1974 DT400 motocross bike.
Finally you are in India and in South India. Please take a drive to Munnar , Thekkady or Wyanad in Kerala which is a bikers paradise. Here and there would remind slightly of home😊
You two should design, patent, and sell the Darman (Name idea) relocator bracket. I have watched hundreds, if not thousands of hours of motorcycle RUclips videos since practically breaking my back 4 years ago(long story), and I have never heard of this before. Great review as always guys. Darcy, think you are wearing your bell bullitt... How does it cope with the temperature over there? Guessing you will have the visor up most of the times... I feel it lacks in ventilation when down...
Great review, guys. In total agreement with your assessment. RE has done it again and produced another winner. I would buy without hesitation. My only change would be the gold forks which I don’t like on any bike. But it wouldn’t be a deal breaker. Great looking bike at the right price. Cheers and ride safe, Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
You're knocking it out the park with these videos lately guys!

RE really hit the mark with this. The proportions looks absolutely great and finally they understood that bikes shouldn't be short! That extra length gives the perfect lines to the bike.
I just booked the bear!! The best and most honest and relatable review. See you at the festival tomorrow 🎉
oh my.. the Goa beach! marvelous!
you rock, gents!
You lucky, lucky things. Went for a short ride on Thursday, it was 1 degree c, there was ice on the road under the trees and my fingers were numb. Nice to see you guys soaking up the sunshine.
The Bear looks really good and at that price could be well worth considering for a second bike.

After seeing this Darcy at the bike show this week. I would buy one, and a good price. RE has really upped the quality on these new bikes. Even I love the look of the new Hymalian
I would definitely consider it too, what a fun bike!!
Just out of curiosity, do you prefer the look of the new himalayan to the old one @MOTOUK1 ?
Cards on the table I am not a fan as I absolutely loved the old one and wished they put a bigger engine in that.
I was just wondering what other people thought and if I was the odd one out etc. 😊
I hope you enjoy your stay. Embrace the adventure.
Thank you!
I think I would be comfortable on this.
excellent point, the style on that exhaust is spectacular for a stock exhaust. can always get a decat pipe to open the sound up :)!
Spent a couple of months in goa in the early nineties. Sparked my interest in getting a bike licence (spent the time on a honda scooter) . Now over 30 yrs later Im going to get my first bike. The Bear is a strong contender.
Great review, beautiful bike. Like forward to the India series.
Thank you 😊
@ have a safe and splendid trip gents.
Classic 650, with twin seat, rack, and POTENTIALLY, some "fishtail", low profile cans! Get your grubby little mits on a pair of these and tell us how they compare!
My dream shed would have a ""Bear" AND a "Classic" (kitted out for touring!)
Good on you Darcy for showing your preference for an effective front mudguard, bucking the trend for fashionable impractical ones.
Lovely. RE are building a 650 for everyone with the latest range of bikes and this is a belter. Great review.
Looks like RE are onto another winner the custom scene will be all over this great review fellas
Totally, thank you 💯
Mr Darcy and the Ol' man uploads a video from India and Royal Enfield unveils the new Scram 440. Today was a good day.
Wow, congratulations on this coup. You must be the 1st to actually review the Bear on the road/dirt track from a Brit perspective .
Brilliant 👏 👏 👏 👏 plus with the 650 clasic perfect 👌 all in situ of the maker.
Thank you 😊 it has been an absolutely awesome experience 👍🏼
As soon as I saw that bike I had images of Steve McQueen riding it - it looks spot on as a road/dirt track scrambler style motorcycle.
Hi from Australia. Just picked up a Himalayan 450 about a month ago and loving it. Then RE bring out the Bear. Damn you Royal Enfield, determined to keep me poor.
I'll visit my dealer tomorrow. I love the Shotgun but the Bear is even better, especially for my 6"5'. Cool review, your vid is absolutely stunning,.

Great channel by the way 👍
You’ll love Goa.
All the best
Brenden.
you have the best reviews! always eager for your review to come out!
@@madhavtrivedi9500 awesome, thank you 😊
Nice to hear that I'm not going nuts - and am not the only person that's usually put off by garish gold forks!
Glad we aren’t the only ones 😂
Each to their own i suppse, i think they look ace
I bought one of these last week and it's glorious!
Awesome 👍🏼
I personally think the Bear 650 is the best exhaust sounding in the RE 650 segment. Mad thumping sound.
It was great to meet you guys at the Royal Enfield Cafe (just as you guys were leaving the place). I'm glad you're enjoying your time in Goa. Look forward to seeing your take on the classic 650.
keen to see these with a big bore kit and cams
will be a total weapon
I was last in Goa in 92 and loved it !!! Great review guys . My first bike in 76 was a Honda SL 125 street scrambler and from what i can see it looks like my last bike is gonna be a street scrambler . This bike has soul !!! Look forward to your upcoming content guys . Ride safe and enjoy Goa !!!
Thank you 😊
Well done RE. Not changed a lot, but enough for some new buyers.
welcome to india , enjoy goa and yes if you pass kolhapur then test ride the brixton cromwell 1200 also that is launched at 7.84 lakhs in india
Behind this beautiful Greenery there he is. Wow finally some colours on your videos. Thank you.
You guys look super cool 😎 just bimbling around India on the 650 Bear! You must be having the time of your life out there! Great video! More content like this please! 🙏
Yes we are having an awesome time 👍🏼

I love my two Royal Enfield bikes and look forward to seeing and test riding the Classic 650 when they reach the US. Take care fellows!
Wishe they would have had this modl back in 2022 when I bought my interceptor, would have saved me a lot of $ turning it into a scrambler.
I cannot wait for the spring to come and this bike to become available at local dealers. They did many improvements - I hope some of them will make it to other 650 models. I am still deciding though, which one sounds better - Bear or Interceptor.
wow this is just amazing..Welcome to India..
Great video guys, as a 6ft tall guy this is the first bike in years I would buy tomorrow and likely will buy in the new year. The Triumph 400 x appeals but doesn’t quite have enough umph for the journeys I plan to do. 👍
Just have a blast here and you are now instilled with something memorable for life
Been waiting for this one, great job guys, stay safe and have fun! What a tremendous bike, I love it! 👏👍😀🏍
Love the colorway and the sound!
Another great video, they keep getting better and better. As a Triumph Fanboi I have to say RE is knocking it out of the park these days. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip.
Great to see you guys having fun in Goa. Welcome to India !
Great video as usual.... no ...actually better than usual. Looking forward to seeing more of your tour of South India.. Seen any elephants on the road yet?
PS...I have to agree! This is the best content you've produced. Onward and upward!
Thank you! Not yet but we hope to on the tour 😊👌🏻
Lucky to be in India, you avoided the snow
Welcome to India, don't judge the difference, feel it. Enjoy your stay.
Best sounding stock RE, yet. Still, it's the Classic for me, whatever country I'm in....
Great review, guys. I have an interceptor at the moment and I think this bike hits the sweet spot. I love the bear with the turquoise frame and white tank. I think it would be stunning with polished side covers. Agree that it will be interesting to see what exhaust options come out for it.
Definitely the best content!!! Looking forward to what lies ahead.
Great vidéo! And SUPER great 411 T-shirt 😉 Seem you ride perfectly well in India 👏🏼👏🏼 You added all the informations I wanted to hear from you about the Bear !
Glad to see you two are having fun while reviewing, the review was very crisp and to the point and I enjoyed every minute of it. :))
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼
Man, iam so happy and excited to see you guys here in India.
To be honest it was a surprise seeing you guys here.
Travel safe and enjoy your stay.
Can't wait for the next video.
Welcome to India💌
Welcome to the Mecca of motorcycling. You’ll love it here
Looks and sounds good. Well done!
Have to say, love your reviews and clarity on riding position/side on view. As someone tall it's nice to get a clear perspective.
As lovely as your usual locations are, (Liddington for example), _THIS_ is the place to first ride the Bear! Great review of a great bike.
Great vid guys and glad to see you are living the dream! The bike is outstanding. Very Triumph Scrambler 1200xc but in a more all round bike package and half the price! Bloody love it!
Absolutely beautiful motorcycle and your review. I am really looking forward to testride this bike.
As the proud owners of a triumph scrambler i really like that bike.
good to see darcy and the ol' man in India
This is the bike we've been waiting for. My only complaint - extra cost option for a bash guard, on a scrambler? I think what I'd really like is a "scramblerised" Classic in a Signals paint scheme.
It certainly looks the part.
But
I still love my scram 411 for getting off road.
I watched your video first time while searching for RE bear review ,subscribed to channel ,really like the review .
Best motorcycle channel on RUclips. Thank you chaps for many hours of quality entertainment. The Bear is a handsome machine but i am particularly looking forward to your coverage of the Classic 650.
Our pleasure, thank you 😊
They finally did it! Stand back there's going to be a stampede for this bike 😃
Seems a bit sarcastic about Indian roads,
but the way you described the India's goodness loveable
liked your overview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic presentation of a great RE ridden through a lovely scenery 👍
At last a mudguard making the Ol'Man happy, I suppose enjoy your time in India, lads!
Thank you 😊
I agree a Great looking bike,.looking forward to the tour
Really appreciate all the efforts you’ve been putting on your videos lately including the Hindi version. Really liked it!!!!…. And obviously welcome to India..
Thank you, really pleased to hear that 👍🏼
I do love India! Enjoy all she has to offer! xx
Bear 650 it is for me instead of the Classic 650.
I might've gone for the Classic 650 but it inherited too much from the Meteor/Shotgun in its frame for my taste.
A Classic 650 with one of the Signals color shemes and a Frame that is more akin to the Classic 350 would've brought probably brought me onboard though.
Wow both, what a fantastic video, you have both come a long way since I first started watching you over the last few years. If it were me between the RE Bear 650 and the RE Classic 650 I would have the RE Bear 650. Please keep these professionally produced videos coming. Wow, thank you 😊

My favourite RE so far
Really enjoy your reviews. Keep it it up and honest as you do always. Cheers! ❤️
you guys are just killing it 100%
Thanks 😊
I’d like to see high side pipes like the triumph street scrambler. As soon as I see that available as an aftermarket part I’ll buy one👍
You two should design, patent, and sell the Darman (Name idea) relocator bracket. I have watched hundreds, if not thousands of hours of motorcycle RUclips videos since practically breaking my back 4 years ago(long story), and I have never heard of this before.
I think it's an excellent idea and you have a very good basis to sell it on your platform.
I must admit the Bear 650 looks really good and I look forward to taking one for a test ride in the near future, the only thing I am not keen is the exhaust which I would have to change (it's too low down) as for the digital instrument console, I'm an analogue fan myself but as far as digital screens go the one on the Bear looks really good however the fact it's off centre is really quite irritating (maybe I'm OCD) other than those two minor points I think the 650 Bear is a winner.
Welcome to India brother 🥰
Thank you! 🙏
Sounds awesome !!
A center clock bracket would be a excellent opportunity for the aftermarket to make something very popular that will sell like spicy hotcakes. Perhaps in conjunction with a small front screen over the headlight with a race number plate on.
This is seriously good content. Looking forward .. Thanks Darcy & da Old man !
Thank you 😊
Really curious what the new trend is with mounting single round clocks to an offset. Triumph also is doing the same with the new speed twin. Are they thinking everyone is left eye dominate? It baffles me and completely turns me off as I hate things off center. It's almost like all of the manufacturers listen to the same designer or test riders who said they prefer off set when in reality not many do.
Another great video guys. Can you talk about the accessories? I just placed my order for the same colour. No delivery date yet for Australia.
That bike looks and sounds lovely! And you're the first reviewers - great work, chaps! Are you reviewing the fabulous food (fish curry) in Goa as well?
7:18 finally real mudguards!
Lovely Review.. This is my fav RE by far.. Would love to get this if it wasn't for my short insem.. 😢😂
Wow I wrote my earlier comment before the end of the video. The bear Really sounds good
Great review as always guys. Darcy, think you are wearing your bell bullitt... How does it cope with the temperature over there? Guessing you will have the visor up most of the times... I feel it lacks in ventilation when down...
Thank you, we are coping ok with the heat. My helmet is from XL Moto check the link it is a stormer helmet 👍🏼
Awesome video guys, loved it and the bikes looks amazing, and what lovely cows ❤
