I love your narrative…crispy crispy! That music interval of time lapse is hysterical & now and now an earworm! I love your whole “itchin’ to sew-no pinning!” Vibe! So me!! ❤🌈❤️🌈❤️
One of my favorite things about the way you work is that you don’t mind tiny little mistakes. You are putting your camera very close to your work as you’re gluing, and I can see you have a flipped seam above where you are working. You don’t even address it, because you know it really doesn’t matter. I have been following you through several of the configurations of the way you work, and I have enjoyed them all. You seem much more confident and satisfied with your life at this point, and I applaud the effort you have put in because it is obvious.
@@MxDomestic I am always shocked at how the Stripology ruler is such a miracle timesaver! Standing by for your tips and tricks for the Bargello :) Gudrun will be so proud :)
I have never heard of this gluing method, and it seems to work well. However, it is very tedious. Some of the other sewists I have watched have used pins to match up the first few seams and then gone from there without any help. I wonder if you could do that with the gluing, or glue every third or fourth one. I would love to see an experiment with that. I think if I tried to do it your way I would get bored and quit. It is very exact and very thorough though. Good work.
I tried to make a Bargello. The strips were much smaller. Here’s what I learned. The seams have to be perfectly sewed and mine weren’t accurate. The seams didn’t match. I had to scrap the entire thing. These pieces are pretty large so I expect some fudging will work. But if the pieces are small there will be a problem.

I would love a video of you using your long arm to quilt this! 💕
This is beautiful, I love the fabrics, 🙂 when I have finished the 5 quilts I am working on, I`m going to give this a go.

That is lovely quilt. I made a bargello table runner a few years ago for my sister-in-law. It was fun.

I’ve always been intimidated by Bargellos. I think I might give it a try now. Can you show us how you decided to it ?

What is the glue? I couldn’t find it on your Etsy shop.
here's a link for it in my shop: mxdomestic.myshopify.com/products/roxanne-glue-baste-it-2oz
