That's one thing I wish they explored more with Cell. He had all the strengths, but they didn't really explore his weaknesses. The only weakness we see is that he makes the same mistake Vegeta did and lets an opponent gain the power to beat him. I wanted to see them explore more of the weaknesses of the other beings who made up Cell.

The only issue is that in the episode where piccolo and cell meet for the first time and cell tells piccolo about the little information gathering robots and piccolo destroys one sal tells piccolo that it's pointless because they've already stopped gathering information

if I remember correctly the Cell who came to the main timeline only has the DNA and data, from everyone including Nappa and Vegeta Pre Namek,and got only Frieza and King Cold data after Namek... Gero even Said to Goku I doubt you could have become much stronger (very wrong was Gero)
The Cell who got destroyed as Embryo probably had SSJ Future Trunks , as far I know only new DNA got collected,but I am sure whis and berus would have noticed if someone would Take their DNA

@@kylarking no, he's right. Cell did say that the drone was getting info, but piccolo destroyed it. So, even if they left cell alone, he wouldn't have any knowledge of ssj2 nor ssj3 and above. Without that drone, cell was dead to the world. If they're were anymore of them, they would have ran out of power with Gero's lab being destroyed and larva cell killed.

Honestly they should make a whole arc/movie about this, having Frieza back is nice but i always liked Cell more.
I feel like he would’ve been perfect for tournament of power. Wanted to test his power in his perfect form and no better way than against other universes.

Assuming it was even possible for Cell to replicate the ludicrous current power levels, it may very well be beyond the computer's ability to process.
Any left over computers would have been stolen by what remains of the RR army. They weren't strong enough to make an Android on their own but with Geros super computer (and all of his saved data files) they should be able to make an op cell. Plus hedo would have probably worked on it too
I see no reason to assume the computer was equipped to reconfigure Cell's genetic makeup...
But Cell still had fucking Frieza in him, along with Saiyan and Namekian DNa to make the most of it all.
By all rights Cell very well could train beyond Black Frieza.

Even the old cell would have been an absolute menace if he wasn’t killed. Dude was only 6 years old and contended with super sayain 2 Gohan, absolutely insane if given more time to develop
But Cell could only contend with SSJ2 Gohan cause he reached his perfect form, give him a few more years to cook and he could only get a little stronger from training.
Just 10 days earlier than you were talking about, dude couldn't hold a candle to SSJ Trunks after the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
@hunterkeps9058 cell has all the dna to make himself stronger. That's what we saw after he survived, blowing himself up. Him training, he would be quite the problem, especially so considering he has friezas dna he could contend with gods after only 6 months of training.

@@IgnorantKingRaven I'd say it's 50/50 that Cell has Frieza's potential. Like yeah he has some of his cells in him, but that only gives him the abilities from Frieza (Like his techniques and breathing in space). Growth potential's unique to each person.
As for Golden or Black yeah, I don't think he could do that. Actually, I don't think he ever went SSJ.
It's never been stated that Cell could go SSJ in universe or in official material. The Z-Fighters never mention it or talk about it despite making a huge point about whenever Cell steals one of their attacks or one of Frieza's attacks.
The only thing he has in common is the aura, his eyes don't even change like SSJs usually do.
So we'd be playing off of a lot of assumptions to say that Cell could catch up to the Z-Fighters.
If Cell having Frieza's potential just from having his cells, if he's able to go SSJ/SSJ2, if he's able to attain the Golden/Black forms, if he can stack those onto his SSJ2 form without exploding from the strain, then I could see Cell being the strongest. But until that happens, I'm gonna be skeptical about these points.
I reckon we'd see a Golden Cell in SDBH before anything else anyways

I think in the manga he says that he’s achieved a power “quite similar to Gohan’s” which also implies SSJ2 and by extension SSJ

1. I don’t think that he’ll keep collecting data on them since Cell didn’t do it in the future with Trunks. If he did, he would’ve defeated Trunks.
2. It also depends on if Gero’s technology can sense and pick up god ki. He would still have the power of Frieda but just not any of the gods or ssjb Goku or Vegeta. He might have access to Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo but still, he wouldn’t keep picking up data.
The computer didn't get trunks DNA because it already had a lot of Saiyan DNA already. The computer doesn't "update" data that it already has. That's why piccolo notes that cells kamahama is "old school" But Babidi, dabura, yakkon, Buu, and hit are all different enough that the computer would likely take their DNA.

@@ojpickle5923 Why are you assuming the computer is collecting DNA AT ALL? There is no evidence of that. It was always my assumption that it was Dr. Gero who sent the robots to collect all the DNA and the computer only monitored the gestation of Cell. This is backed up by the anime, when Dr. Gero is shown leaving the computer room the Cell embryo was already gestating, which means it's DNA was fixed.

Present version cell for our dragon ball would literally be a walking problem for EVERYONE, and judging how he’d know the flaws of his previous iterations, it would not be out of fetch to assume that he’d likely be training to master, and perfect each part of him that he had collected from his dna to then combine, cell was basically the ultimate culmination of everything in one being so it isn’t hard to believe for it to be the case
Angel DNA would make all the other species unnecessary.
Considering Gohan apparently has more potential despite mixing Saiyan and the inferior human species, it should create a compounding effect

I wish Cell Max was created the same way Dr. Gero created his Cell. He would’ve absorb both 17 and 18 again and had the cells of everyone from the beginning of Super and possibly up until the Super hero. Cell Max would’ve been OP that the GODS would have to get involved. 😂

And he was so powerful if Gohan wasn't there and Goku and Vegeta lacked the ability to fuse, the only one who could have handled Cell Max would have been Beerus.
Well, theoretically I'd say there's a chance Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo could have 3v1'd cell max, but it would have been a desperate struggle.

This actually wouldn't have been possible.
Cell has Frieza's dna because in the future timeline Gero witnessed the grand battle between Goku and Mecha Frieza (plus King Cold). The Cell that we know is the Cell from the future timeline, so he has what Future Gero collected.
There is no way Cell from the current timeline could get the info of all the new characters beyond that point because there is nothing or nobody collecting it for him.
The main cell is actually from an alternate timeline and the future cell is the one that got killed by trunks in the future.
There could’ve also been leftover drones that collected the data.

I mean, the first time Frieza was revived, he did come back to earth to have a grand battle with Goku.
Sure, he wouldn't look the same because King Cold Wasn't there, but he would still at least have Frieza's DNA.

If 17 could reach God-ki level beating up humans, Cell’s potential is through the roof. He pretty much only had a few weeks in his perfect form and he was able to match SSJ2.

Cell is basically a saiyan with the ability to regenerate and absorb others - he has the potential to be the strongest absolutely.
If cell just acted right and began absorbing everyone as soon as he was perfect.
everytime they add new forms/abilities to the saiyans, Frieza, Piccolo, etc- it just furthers the potential Cell could eventually reach if he never died.
I so wanted him to at least come back with a golden form instead of what we got

They might bring actual Cell back someday, like some alternate timeline/reality of Universe 7 where EVERYTHING happened the same EXCEPT for Gero’s sub lab being blown up along with Cell.

Only thing cell would have an issue with is similar to moro, if he tries to use whis/any form of ui, his would inflating just like moro
He would have been so OP he wouldn't need 17 and 18 anymore and likely easily transform to his perfect form on his own. As for Whis and Beerus i think he would have failed to get their powers as Whis would have noticed the spybot fly and destroyed it. Meaning his peak would be everyone else's current power except Whis and Beerus. He might get Beerus' when he is away from Whis.
Current Cell is still growing to his insect form, i wonder how they will handle that when cell awakens
