It looks like the broken up rock at the front of the dam basically turned into a hydraulic force and cut the front of the dam off. I was not expecting that!
how about actually recreating the hoover dam..with the small channels that are letting the water through … not sure if SST can create watermills and get power generation going
maybe you could simulate the creation of the solar system... similar to the universe simulation but with a gravity node in the center and then you just do the same exact thing and spin it (only if it works)
I don't remember where exactly it is, but one of the options you can mess with can pause the simulation, it's called *"animate_step"* , and reason I mention it, is because you probably could use that to make a dam in a paused state, rather than deal with it actively crumbling(don't know if you already know about it, but figured in case you didn't, I'd say it).
