The music que after 16 slams Cell imo creates one of the most emotionally impactful moments in the entire show. Funimation dub music always brought the feels man.
This was ways one of the coolest looking moves of the series to me, that fact that he basically rips his arms off to perform it just makes it look even better

This was a big trend in the school back then. The show was just through the Frieza Saga and I came across a sticker pack of Androids Saga. I was a bit bamboozled if it actually was from Dragon Ball Z or not! because the charachter looked a bit different in style then the rest but I instantly fell in love with them. Android 18 ended up being my first serious crush and couldn't get her out of my mind for a long time and Android 16 is one of the coolest drawn charachter of the show. His neon green armor is undoubtedly the coolest of the show and so his figure and charachter. I really hope he get's a comeback in the show somehow and sticks along with the Z force.
Funny enough I think #16 would notice how different Goku is and how he's pure of heart. Therefore they would not fight in that event. #16 might even spontaneously combust, or shut down.

16 was the reason Gohan was able to destroy cell once and for all. When he said he was going to destroy cell, he was telling the truth. I think he knew Gohan needed a little push to do it in the end.
Andriod 16 could have won the fight right here if he threw Cell into his own knee instead of to the ground. That should break Cell's back. And then proceed to rip off his head like promised. In the worse case scenario, Andriod 16 does not get tired, while Cell will get weaker as the fight drag on. Silly 17 and 18 had to stand there not moving a step the entire fight... if only they had fled, no way Cell could have won.
If only the other androids listened to 16 and left. He was so logical and straight to the point, unlike 17 and 18 who were arrogant and cocky. Even when they realised cell was a huge threat they still didn’t run.
I believe that Android 16 second propose (apart from killing Goku) is the counter-part of Cell, like Dr.Gero design him for Anti-Cell, he cant be absorb, and cleary stronger than 1st form Cell.
