I’m so happy you are initiating this series. I appreciate the time you are putting into getting these videos out to us. I look forward to the other parts of the series.
Thank you!! Will definitely work hard at getting them out :)
im from south florida!! i havent started looking at school yet but will definitely be looking at keiser
🤗👏🏼👏🏼
love this series idea! Can't wait for the next one.
Working on it!! 🤗
Can you make a video about what its like to be a PA in florida? and how does it differ from being a PA in other states
Hmm that’s a good idea! I’d have to do research about other states, but I’d be into making that for you guys!
Lol yep. It’s funny, I thought first semester was hard until i got to second semester. Third semester we had 32 credit hours. I literally have time to do nothing except study. But now that I’m done with first year hopefully I can not stress as much.
Lol life will get SO much better now ☺️
Kendra Lynne definitely seeming like a complete change this semester. We have had about a week of total classes (because of days off) and have been back for 2 weeks.
Yes please do videos about clinicals through each field!! That’s be awesome!!
did your short term memory negatively affect you in the long run?? like for finals, clinical year, or your first job?
It only affected my first attempt at the practice PANCE. After that in second year, you have a lot more time to commit the info to your long-term memory, so no probs after that 😁
Omg I’m in this!! Love pria!!
I’m from South Florida and want to look into PA schools like Keiser but I’m afraid of accreditation problems. I think Keiser is on probation now but I’m unsure how that goes.
The program is at risk of losing accreditation OR is a newly created program that hasn't gained full accreditation status yet. Students currently in the program under probation status will still graduate from an accredited program. The following class as well since they are entering while the school is on probation (still accredited). After probation, the board will either give the school full accreditation, lose their accreditation, or have the probation extended for further review. Hope that helps
-- no. You were there when it was accredited lol so it has nothing to do with you
Aleysha Pizzeria you can always look on the ARC-PA website to see why they are on probation or even call the schools and they will tell you why.
Hi! Yes, Keiser is currently on probation for some incorrect paperwork I believe, but it has no effect on the class itself. They will still be able to graduate and take the PANCE 😁
Very informative. So proud of you !
This is such a good video idea! Keep it up
Thanks so much!! 🤗
How were your grades the first year? How did your classmates do as well- with 1-3 exams a day, how did y’all do? Thanks 🙏🏽
We all did well!! Only one person didn’t make it for academic reasons
I’m going to be a freshman in college this coming fall as a biology major and do plan on applying to PA school afterwards. How do you recommend I go about getting patient care hours? I heard a great way is becoming a CNA but I just can’t afford college and a CNA program nor would I have the time right now.
I love this. Keep it up! 💪
Thank you, I appreciate it!!!
Love it! 🙌🏽 Thank you for this new content
Of course!! It is my absolute pleasure ☺️
Its cool seeing a day in the life. Nice vlog!
Thank you so much!!
How did you find PAs to Shadow?
Making a video on it lol
What to do when you have the memory of an average person and somethings you remember and some things you don’t and the only way you remember is by repetitiveness and good old fashion studying . 2 days is hardly studying and hardly fair . It’s like they care more about you passing the test instead of ACTUALLY learning.
Making a video on this :) I had that problem as well
If you become a PA through the military do you still have to go to a civilian PA school when you get out?
how many years is there for PA school
Have you met any engineers that went into Medicine, specifically PA?
Unfortunately, I have not.
Do you rely more on PowerPoint slides or your textbook when you study or study before class?
How many questions are on the exams. Are the exams multiple choice? Are the exams based on the topics you learned that day in class or multiple topics?
So for now I’m doing online college, and was looking into a few unis that I’m interested in. Oregon State has some good bachelors but I can only minor in biology HOWEVER, I can major in wildlife and fisheries (which is still science). So both major and minor would be science. Although I did want a business class of some sort lol idk.
On the other hand, I was looking into ASU. But their option for a bio major is Biological Sciences.. I haven’t really decided on a minor for ASU though.
What are your thoughts on my choices and options?
If I went with Oregon would a minor in Bio be acceptable?
I'm confused as to why you can only minor in Bio at OSU. I go to OSU, but PA schools generally take any major as long as you've taken the pre-reqs.
You can get into PA school with literally any major as long as you have the necessary science GPA and prerequisites.
Thanks for your input guys!! And I agree with both of them ☺️
How much does it cost to study PA?What are the subjects covered in the first year? 2nd year?
Would you be willing to do a video/interview about being in a relationship while in PA school? My boyfriend starts this month & i’d love tips. We’ve been dating 7 years now but I foresee this being challenging with time and stress
I actually just wrote a post on my IG recently about this! ☺️ @itskendralynne
Were the test questions hard? I suck at taking tests. my heart sank when you said that getting 3 c you get kicked out.
where does she go???
I need help. Okay so I’m going to become a senior in highschool. And I’m thinking of becoming a PA. But I also want to be a CNA as a part time job. So what do I tell the colleges? Like idk what program their going to put me in as well as a pa major or whatever. Idek
I wanna be a CNA as a part time job in order to get my patient care hours btw
is it easy to pay back your loans?
If you know what you’re doing with your money ☺️ (video coming soon)
Can you be a PA in multiple states or nationwide?
Not sure about nationwide, but you can apply to any state for licensing and hold multiple at a time, yes 😁
Kendra Lynne thank you!! Love your videos !
This was very helpful.
Thank you for watching!! 🤗
When you guys ay 3-4 exams per day, do you mean 15-20 exams per week?
It really depends. We really had max 2 exams a day. Sometimes 3
Oh! Priya Priya (this was Bollywood son reference, lol) She def give me hope, I had similar GPA, science GPA even better
I saw online that Kaiser's PA program is on probation, what does that mean?
i'm 99% positive Kaiser is a scam and not accredited
Would a student in pa school be able to work full time?
student 2018 I heard from other PA professionals that having a full time job might be too much to handle due to all the studying you have to do for the rigorous courses in PA school
@@Nat-tn7mg I agree with you... i spoke to my husband he stated he doesn't mind me not working.
Definitely not. You go to school from 8am-5pm usually, so you wouldn’t have time to work full-time. I honestly don’t recommend working at all if you can
@@itsKendraLynne your awesome thank you so much... I reach out to keiser and didn't even know I have like 8 to 9 credits left before PA program. I'm trying to decide should I take those classes at palm beach state then transfer or just finish it straight through.
Whatever you gotta do to get them done!! 🤗👏🏼
great videos :)
Thank you so much!!!
Super random but I love south Florida :)
Haha, it's a nice place :)
Try going to a quieter setting so we can clearly hear you and the interviewee. Great video though.
Thanks for the feedback!!

@-- - Thanks. Community college by physician assistant how much does it cost
@-- I saw in Community College PA
@-- ruclips.net/video/2bRgPDVM1-k/видео.html
@@thallesmendes3402 you can get your prerequisites in community college things like biology and chemistry but you will have to transfer to a university to get your bachelor's degree and then you will have to apply to graduate school to get your PA Master's degree
what did she do to get her patient care hours? and how many years did it take to get 5000 hours? and are you repaying your loans still?
also, i have been loving all of your videos lately!! so informational and so helpful 💗
her patient care she was an MA (Medical Assistant) for a plastic surgeon.
Thank you!! I was also an MA in OB/GYN
*PA can work in hospitals?👨🏻⚕️👨🏻🎓🏨🏥*
Thalles Mendes yup most of them do
