Sounds really good. I have texas speed catless longtubes with borla ataks and a x pipe and around 2200rpm it gets really raspy. I just ordered the resonated x pipe to tame it down and if I don’t like how it sounds I’m going to get this catback sounds really good
What was your reason for going catted headers as oppose to off-road headers. And is it really worth the investment. Because I heard long tubes catted or not you don't really gain that much more power unless your boosted it is just a sound thing. Is that true?
Hi, thanks for checking out my channel! The reason I went catted was for state inspection purposes. They are high flow catts and it is not worth the extra hassle for minimal gains. Also with a tune there is a very noticeable differance in power and responsiveness. Not to mention the sound is killer! From an investment stand point I would say it was worth every penny. I installed them myself so that saved me a few hundred dollars.
Yeah but I have magnaflow street catback and it is pretty mild. But I intentionally did it in case I wanted to go longtubes later down the road. And if I do it is just going to be for sound. Whatever I make doesn't really matter to me. I just need something to wake up the magaflows
@@bigogtt4905 I hear you.. That's exactly why I went with the Awe touring. It was milder than then the corsa xtreme and it came with an h-pipe for deeper tone. If you haven't already check out my other video with just the touring with no headers.
Thks for the video!!! Your setup is perfect!!!!!!!! The sound is amazing, just what I looking for and far as power gains u know and I know got to take it to the next level, ( boost ) !!!!!!!!!!
Currently got the same headers along with an xpipe to two bullet mufflers and then roush axle backs. It sound amazing but drones like crazy on the highway. Would you say you can enjoy music and conversation with this setup going 70-80?
Yes without a doubt. That's the beauty of this exhaust. Loud when you want it be. Absolutely no drone. I typically drive at highway speeds in 5th just cause I like a little exhaust note but in 6th its very light tone.
Coyote5.0 awesome! Thanks for the quick feedback, I noticed the video is already a year old as well! Hopefully I can switch to the touring catback sometime soon.
No it has zero drone! That's the beauty of there 180 technology. Even with longtubes it it is quiet when you want it to be, but make no mistake it can be quite loud as well. Which i don't mind at all. The sound is awesome!! You made a great choice. Thanks for watching!
@@mick76 great to hear! Really like this set up. 1 more question, was it a direct fit to the h pipe? If so, which connection pipe did you go with? Factory, performance, or (SW/corsa/mbrp) connect? Or if you could provide me with a link to make things easier! Thank you in advance and happy holidays!
@@leon_e I bought the factory connect to use with the stock headers, but when I changed over to longtubes I purchased my headers with 6" longer leads and 3" outlets. Then cut off the 2.5" reducers on the h-pipe. Then shortened the h-pipe an additional 2 inches. I did all of that so I didn't drastically change the location of the cross section on the h-pipe from where it was with the stock headers. Now I have a full 3" header back setup.

Yeah resonators might help. The cats on the headers kinda act like a resonators. Which is what im using.
Awesome channel brother! I'm saving for stainless power headers. Can't wait!!
Thank you Sir!! Just getting started. Will have more content soon! Post a video when you get yours installed.
@@mick76 Keep em coming!

Are the recaro seats comfortable? Thinking bout getting a set myself.
I find them to be very comfortable. I like the deep side bolsters. Really hold well in hard cornering.
Hey mick is there any drone with this set up? I just ordered this system over Corsa sports.

I have the AWE Track catback on my car. In your opinion do you think the track edition paired with longtube headers would be way too loud?
For me personally.. yes absouletly that would be to loud. Long tubes with the touring is where I want to be. I smile every time I get on it.
