- Here is my 2019 mustang GT premium with the full awe touring cat back system installed. I have been meaning to do a review for a long while now and here is it. How do you like it? I think the H pipe makes the car sound much better than some competitors with the X pipe systems.

Finally got to hear this system in real life today, it's great! Nice flat and angry note. Well worth it IMO! Not rapsy, and roars at WOT.
Still one of the best sounding IMO. Definitely no regrets
I had the same problem with one of the exhaust tip clamps. I finally got it to work but it was damaged and the inside half circle clip came off. Have not called AWE to advise them of what happened. Will check their customer service skills. lol
What do you guys think? Should I review a few other exhausts on the 2019?

Does it snow a lot in British Columbia? What tires do you reccomend for winter time? My PP currently has summer tires and I daily mine.

I was sold on this kit until you described the customer service experience from AWE. The competition is too good to have poor customer service, especially at the cost of this kit.
It still sounds really good. But I agree with the price we pay for the kit it should be simple and send the new part.
Sounds good, but still think Borla S type and Ataks sound amazing. I actually had one of my bolts snap on a bracket for my Borlas just like yours. I thought maybe I torqued it to much, but I didn't.
Borla sounds great as well. I just wanted something different than the rest. I wonder why they all use cheap clamps lol
@@CanadianCruisin They all want to cut costs somewhere lol One thing I wish AWE had is an active exhaust option. When I was looking I couldn't even consider it. I do like how they actually use h pipes though. That's one big plus vs others.
@@thedude2897 yeah I knew I wanted an h pipe. Luckily I live close to a parts place so they had some good clamps there. I didn't get the active so awe fit my wants pretty well. One day if I ever change it I'd probably try borla

Agreed. The h pipe makes all the difference. I didnt want the high pitch make you deaf exhaust haha

@@CanadianCruisin yeah they sound great I’ve got them on my 18 but I wanted to add headers and I think it may be a little too loud. Awe has a great sound though those with headers will probably be a little more tame
@@tylerparker1959 i need headers eventually. You are right though borla is a little louder. My friends got it on his 2019 and compared to awe its a bit more so headers might be to much haha
love this exhaust its on my 15Gt and will be on my 19Gt as well on back order.
Best sounding exhaust for sure. Not to high pitch and just the right amount of loud.

I still say it's better sounding than all the big name brands.
Canadian Cruisin AWE is a big name brand... except they used to be strictly for European vehicles. They’re just now(a few years ago) starting with American cars.
Does it scare people during start up?. My steeda h pipe/axel back does. Looking to tone down the start up. Not good starting up at night or early morning.
My neighbors complain. It's not obnoxiously loud at start up but it's definitely not quiet
Some focus sts around you probably have awe exhausts as well

I have the Roush axle back l haven’t installed yet but l like the sound of the awe cat back they have the touring for 900 and 1800 at CJ Pony
I still say it's the best sounding out of the options out there. Sounds powerful instead of just crazy loud
@@CanadianCruisin those 2 resonators on the awe gives it that powerful sound and tone a seller on EBay has it 1795.00 he said make a offer on the Awe touring cat back exhaust if he knocks 45 more dollars off it l will purchase it chrome tips

I wonder if this has a deeper tone than the MBRP Street? I was sold on MBRP until I heard the AWE sound clips. That deep tone is beautiful!
Much deeper than any of the mbrp exhausts I've heard. They're closer to the corsa setups
About to purchase this catback for my 2015, however I have catted headers on it. I know it'll definitely be quieter than my current setup but I'm hoping it's enough!

I have a 15 with flowmaster outlaws...can I just buy the mufflers and install with the other 3 system I already have rather buy the whole system. Already have H pipe. I just want to switch out the mufflers
@@asilay79 I think the flow master mount differently, otherwise you’d have to weld. I’d say just buy the whole catback.

I’m thinking about getting this setup and adding Catted headers, which brand of headers would you suggest to maintain the deep growl?
I'd go with kooks whenever I get to the header stage.

@@CanadianCruisin Thanks. I have to say I found it a bit comical when you said it sounds "just as good" as the other systems. Everyone hears things differently, but I'm a 50-year old car guy and audiophile, and I've heard everything. IMO, this is without a doubt the best sounding S550 exhaust by far. DEEP, thick, rich, muscular tone that's perfectly tuned. Most of the other's sound like raspy sh*t especially at the top end. With that said, that was terrible customer service on their end. I messaged them yesterday with a question and have yet to hear from them, so it seems their CS might need work, but the product is fantastic. It's also one of the most expensive though, so they should really have better CS. Anyhow, great choice. Enjoy.

Anybody know if there’s a way to connect a non resonated x pipe to the touring mufflers?

Police leave me alone. Unless your really on it it's not to loud. One neighbor likes to whine but that's his problem lol. I've got a video coming explaining all the issues with him lol

@@stevenjames7032 I have heard the camaro version of the awe is pretty awesome as well. If it's anything like this than I highly recommend it. Hopefully you stick around I've got a few more things in the works already 🔥

@@stevenjames7032 I liked the deeper tone with the h pipe and not many cars have it. More unique than the others. It was between this or borla sport cat back for me but awe is quite a bit cheaper.

The clips I shot for you don't even do the exhaust justice, filming the launch was intense, all I felt has a deep growl through my body as you took off lol
It's so hard to pick up sound properly for the exhaust.

That's correct. H pipe and then you can pick chrome or black tips

Did you consider the Roush axle back?
I have the roush catback with an H pipe. It's a bit more on the higher pitch and raspy side compared to awe due to the straight through design that the mufflers have, but it still sounds awesome! It's nothing like corsa's rasp and high pitch though. It's also much louder and very aggressive compared to awe. Had it for over a year now, but I'm looking into something more deep and a bit quieter which brought me here
is this just as loud as the s type catback?
I havent actually heard the full s type catback in person but my friends with the axle back and resonator delete is pretty close to the same sound. It's just a little more high pitch at higher rpm

Does awe make a active setup?
They don't have an active option but they make a little bracket that holds the active motors so it tricks the car into thinking its still active. That way you can have the awe sound but the car thinks the stock setup is still on. Stops the warning lights from popping up on the dash

I love the extremes as well but I was going for a deeper tone. I'm waiting to see what the new double H pipe will sound like from corsa.
Corsa is Not king! I used to have the Corsa Xtreme on my 2015 mustang GT and I Like the AWE Touring Better Now on my 2018 mustang GT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Texas_C8 everyone likes corsa until they hear the awe in person. I always get questioned about my setup and they're surprised the perfect sound they comes from a simple catback system
