The transmission on my 07 Hyundai Elantra goes into limp mode unexpectedly as I drive, and it will stay on first gear until I pull aside and let the transmission fluid temperature go down. Would a bad input speed sensor cause this?
There is another sensor with a gear attached. I cannot find how to re install. I bought a manufactured part called. "Speed Sensor." It goes into the transmission with a plastic gear. Mine wont seat back down, how do I re install this?
Hey I have a 2007 hyundai Elantra and it is reading a code P0717 - Input Speed Sensor No Circuit Signal so I had put a new input speed sensor On and it came back with same code. So then I had the connector tested and found that the middle pin in the connector had no voltage but the 2 outside pins read fine. My question is do I cut the plug wire and replace with a new wiring plug to match the yellow, brown and red wiring in installing a new connector plug To clamp to input speed sensor?? Will that fix the problem with code P0717?
+Tyson Amburg Thanks for watching! That could be a symptom of a faulty sensor, and it will usually be accompanied by an error code. This is a plug and play procedure, so no calibration is necessary.

Why does the video title indicate "01-07", but then the description says it applies to "07-12"? Psh. Come on...

Thanks great delivery how long from start to finish this job

Probably corrosion at the terminal or connection
Is this the same for a 07 santa fe
Will a malfunction occur if I change the wires connected to the sensor?
Where is the input speed sensor located on a 2007 hyundai sonata v6

I have the same problem, you fixed that?
Was this car shifting hard to have to replace these sensors? Did you have to recalibrate anything after replacing the sensors?

What about the 05's it's like the car is stuck in a high gear slow on take off but kinda pull hard while up to 50 but over rev at that point
An if you drop the gear down to low nothing
