Hello, my hyundai elantra 2002 automatic is generating the code p0760 malfunction of the shift solenoid C. You can support me with the diagram of this transmission. And how much is the resistance of those 5 solenoids. I appreciate the support.
I read in the Elantra forums that the pan can not be removed fully from the car. Said it has just enough clearance to sit the way this one is sitting in the video. How is it possible to clean/prep surfaces and install a new gasket if the pan can not be fully removed? I see many unanswered questions below, but hope someone can shed light on this. Need to get at it ASAP. Thanks
Hello Nas , I have 2004 Hyundai Elantra the car jumps hard when put it on reverse it gives me code p0755 I did some research. It said the underdrive solenoid , my question is which one of them the UD solenoid is it the left bottom one ?? Or like which location Thank you
thanks for the info. I have 2001 hyundai elantra, when i put it on drive and move, in few seconds it will make a sound boom to change gear. when i stop at a junction it will not change gear when i moved. for it to change gear i'll have to take the shift to neutral and then bac to drive. what could be the problem? i have changed the oil.
my transmission goes into 1st gear when i first use it for the day...after it shifts (usually straight to) to 3rd gear thats all you get from that point on my car is an 05 accent 1.6 .. wiill try to diagnose it like you did thnx for the video!!
Great video! I have a 2004 Elantra, after it is warm it has an issue going from 2nd to 3rd gear. It goes to a neutral like state followed by a hard shift into 3rd gear. Once in gear no problem going to OD. In the summer when it’s hot out it is worse. It has done this for years. While still under warranty dealer could never find a problem. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hey, have you found a solution to this problem? My 2004 Hyundai does exactly thesame thing but no codes still. Goes into a neutral state and makes a hard shift.
David Uche last spring I forgot to let off the gas as it shifted to 3rd hard and left the tranny all over the highway. The Torque converter exploded!! Thinking now maybe it was the problem all along. I had replace input and output speed sensors, changed fluid adding suggested anti shutter additive all changing nothing. Good Luck!!
Not sure how many bolts it's been a while, but not difficult if you have some tools and common sense, don't remove the frame bolts, just whatever is in your way.

I got a code for the transmission control module but the light went out this was actually a year ago but I think I'm having an issue with it even though the light went out and having accelerating problems it's not spark plugs or wires or nothing and I've had all that checked everything that could possibly cause this issues I've had checked or changed so I have a funny feeling it is the TCM but I don't know where it's located on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra
I have a 2016 Elantra and I get P0722 code I change the speed sensor in side transmission and still have check engine light and problem still occur. Car goes forward after a while won’t go forward only reverse. Any help?
This code is for the output speed sensor outside the transmission, not inside the transmission, also make sure you change your fluid and delete the code first. Last resort is to take it to the dealer for a software upgrade. That worked with me on many vehicles
I have 2 solenoids on the passenger side and 3 on the right. I'm guessing solenoid A & B are on the left (passenger side). Do you know how to get the clips off and how to you dislodge the solenoid once I have the front pan off? Thank you for your time.

Will the car stay in a low gear, or will this happen internment? Like slams from 70mph to low gear, as soon as you turn off the car it's fine for a while, and then does it also at 30 mph weeks later... 3 shops and a dealer can't diagnose the issue. Help!!
with mine it would start in 1st gear and immediately goes to 3rd with a jerk, 3rd is safe mode and will stay in there until I delete the check engine light again. Yours must also be going into safe mode to prevent further damage. You need to start with the codes

Good video, do you know where is the oil filter located at? also do you have an easy way to completely remove the oil pan from the transmission? I find the space very tight.
no sorry, didn't change the oil filter, i don't think there is an easy way unless you remove the frame bolts, it is tight but doable, i was able to play with all the solenoids, just take your time

Please help me , it has cost me a lot and i cant afford it anymore.
Hi my Elantra 2004 is jerks when I switch from park to reverse and makes a loud clunk when I accelerate when I put it into drive. The car will go from first gear to third and then stay in third gear. I get codes P0750 and P1529. Did anybody figure out this problem?
My Hyundai Elantra is stuck in third gear and i bought a solenoid but i don’t have a way to find out which one it is is there anything u could help me with ?
you must scan it in order to find out which solenoid as there are 5 or 6 if am not mistaken. Or you can just replace all of them. Or, which is not practical, replace one at a time and see whether you can shift while she is on stands.

Would you recommend replacing the wiring harness as well as the solenoids since the pan is already off? Do you have the part number for a 2004 elantra wiring harness? Does replacing the harness require removing the valve body? I saw in another video it was recommended to slightly lower the sub-frame to gain better access. Can replacing the solenoids and harness be done without lowering the sub-frame?
You don't need to change the harness. You have to lower the subframe i believe to change it, not sure if the valve body would need removal, but i wouldn't worry about it since the harness doesn't really get lots of wear and tear, it's too much work. I didn't lower the subframe to replace the solenoid, just remove whatever is in the way, didn't even remove the pan, just slid it to the side, hardest part is replacing the silicone/gasket.
It is not very difficult, the difficult part is just sliding it aside and once u are able to unplug the solenoid harness then you are ok , no need to remove the pan comple
