One of my major criticisms with feminism (and it was a critique brought up by a handful in the 90s as well) was that it was not doing enough outreach to young men and boys. The result was exactly as predicted: Without them being raised with these ideals of gender equality and cooperation they're vulnerable to regressive ideas like these. The end result being that you have a permanent anti-equality group built into society endlessly reversing gains you make.

Correct, a lot of people laugh this off but a lot of the young men don't have particularly strong fathers or father figures in their lives.
