I started watching this show because I couldn't find anything else, and after 3 episodes of me laughing my brother came to see what I was looking at. At first he laughed, but now he's watched more episodes than I have

If you like weird dating shows, one of my guilty pleasure ones back in high school was Parental Control. It was basically where the parents did not like who their kid was dating, so they’d set up two other dates with different people to see if their kid would be more interested. I don’t know if it’s more romantic, but the kid usually picked their original partner
I remember that show. It was crazy, kinda messed up that they'd try to fix up their kid with someone else, but not necessarily uncommon in some places

When he said “I think we could connect spiritually” the way the freaking armadillo lady looked at him sent me 😂 😂 I’m starting to feel like this is EXACTLY how animals be dating out in the wild 😂 💜
To me, connecting spirituality means sharing your approach to life, the stage of life you're in, the challenges you're facing, etc. and finding out if they're similar or complementary. It's like a more abstract version of comparing interests. Instead of TV shows and brunch places you're comparing outlooks on life, strategies for problem solving, marks on your soul left by the experiences you've had.
Imagine if they have kids and they ask how they met, lol.
"Well son, I was a lizard man and your mom was a mircat."
Proceeds to tell the story, forgetting to tell the kid they were costumes and makes the kid get a life crisis as he doesn't know how he turned out to be human if his parents were animals. The next day telling and convincing his friends at school that his parents are animals and that he was adopted since he was human. Lol

You know the thing is, the message of loving people for their personality and not based on looks is kinda lost in this show because in the end, they are still only using "conventionally" attractive people in the show, and not just face-wise, but body type as well. Anyway, it seems like a pretty funny show and it's fun to watch youtubers react to it :)
I honestly agree. Id like to see shows like this with people who don’t look like models. The majority of us don’t, so why not represent us as well?
@@Jessicamoon2130 Well, when I was in england I stumbled on a dating show named Naked attraction. Though personality obviously came second, I was actually surprised at how "normal" the people where. There were a great variety of styles and body types.
Yeah, that was my takeaway when I tried watching this show. Great concept, but only using conventionally attractive people kinda brings it down

My personal definition of connecting with someone spiritually would be when you meet somebody for the 1st time and become good friends with them pretty fast, almost like they're a best friend sometimes because you connect through number of mutual similarities that you normally wouldn't have with another person being little things, silly things, personal quirks even. From my personal experience the friendship only gets stronger and lasts 💙 I'm sure you understand what I mean 😜

Bouldering is usually climbing like 10-15 foot walls usually. So you won’t have a harness. Depending on the grade, some could be easier than others so your brother could probably climb the easy routes. But the harder routes you need to have skill. Top rope climbing or lead climbing is when you have a harness on, those walls can be 30 feet up to 100 feet or more depending on the gym. They aren’t free climbing lol

When you connect with someone spiritually, like you feel their aura, their soul! Like you feel like you connect with their personality and what’s on the inside and loving them for who they are ! Like you see their heart mind and soul 💜 it’s a beautiful thing to connect with someone spiritually, it’s really a whole different feeling 💜
Personally, I love how weird this show is! They are willing to try something new! I'd rather watch this then just a regular dating show. Weird stuff makes life more exciting anyways, less predictable and not boring :P

During the week of testing, after me and my couple of friends I did testing with finished, we would go back to the room and watch this show. The dates started getting boring, so we would make bets on it on who would end up with the main character. And there were only two AirPods, so half the time I had these people just imagined with random British accents while betting on if the koala would end up with the snake or not. It was quite humourous.
