Big American V8 + Autobahn... what's not to love? Definitely want more of this!
The quality of the interior is generally lacking in all USA made vehicles.. This one is not any diffrent.
Edit: that's what's not to love.
@@Nosensev57 tharts total false, this are 40k cars.. so get a cadillac or lincoln for 80-100k there is no lack of quality.. take a golf or mercedes c class there is no diffrence

@@Nosensev57 Was thinking the same thing they need a interior overhaul. Not all of them are this bad tho. I drove a corvette and liked the interior.

All car guys are searching for that one machine that delivers pure joy. You know you've found it when you park it, and look back at it as you are walking away. I hope everyone here finds the one.
My dream car is this or the Hellcat SRT Redeye Widebody 🙂 Thank you!
After driving cheap and used cars for a decade, I just bought an R/T charger, cosmic cherry red with black daytona decals and shit. I look back every time I get out of it. I take it out for 10 minute rides just to hear the engine growl. I have no doubt in my mind that it was completely worth it lol.
I do this with my mazda 🤣

I've watched this video multiple times and it never got "old"! I actually ( finally) bought a 2023 Scat Pack 1320 "Last Call" edition about 1.5 weeks ago and LOVE it! I disagree about the visability out of the windows and the usefulness of the door mirrors, but agree about the sensitive throttle pedal! This 392 V8 has all the power I need! Stay safe.
Cool you got final year '23. I built a '22 widebody Charger 1 year ago. Kinda curious what they charged you? You prob gonna be mad when you hear what I paid. I knew they raising these bitches prices. They kept it secret, started changing names on the same car, taxing your for nothing. Ugh. Anyways, welcome to the Mopar / Hemi family. The 6.4 is a beast. Be easy on her for a little while. Break her in right.
I need a challenger before they go away. It's got to be a manual which means it's got to be a v8. I did not know the 6 cylinder challenger doesn't come with a manual

That was a really great run this guy had in that Challenger. That's a powerful machine. Must've felt great driving that car.
Mopar FTW! Love the sound of a Hemi!
And yes, some more American muscle would be awesome to see. (of course some of those cars may not be super easy to get a hold of in your location, but whatever you can grab is fine!) :)
Mopar or no car
Mopar or no car!
Actually, and I'm not sure how public knowledge this is but mopar got most of the idea of the hemi from ford. The chamber design and valve placement came from ford several years ahead of chrysler, but chrysler did do their own changes to make the idea work with their engines and used it for marketing.
@@Punk-Jw yes in 39 when they was building for rolls Royce aircraft. Also again in 43 I think. I love my Mopar but as a car enthusiasts, I love the hobby of working on engines.
I'd like to see you do the C8 Corvette, especially the new Z06 once it arrives on your side of the pond.
I was in Germany in the 80's and most American cars couldn't keep up steady on the autobahn without eventually overheating or just breaking down. They weren't made to drive steady over 80 for long periods of time. These new DODGE cars have definitely stepped up their game. But I wonder how they will perform on long trips on the autobahn ?
Good question
Hey, just seen your comment. We have basically the same one as in this video just without widebody :( but it is perfect for long trips on the autobahn or any other "highways" in other countries around us. We did a trips to Pisa or to the Normandy and even a few hundred kilometers on the autobahn were really enjoyable. But with aftermarket suspension, 22 inch wheels, top of the line tires. So yeah no issues at all but you need to stop every like 200 to 300 hundred kilometers to get fuel if go 200kph+ for some time.
Dodge now designs all SRT products to be used full tilt non stop for 24hrs straight without the need of maintenance or repair. Of course no one drives like that for that long and they have some suggestions on what to do after a elongated hard run, but they are definitely capable of the torture for performance.
Long trips😂 bro you live in Europe.
In America we can drive over 2,500 miles and still not be all the way to the other coast
@@quentonmillstid850I live in Ukraine (the biggest European state counting as a hole territory landed in Europe). Sometimes it may be about 400 miles from one border to another one and i don't feel much tired after that trip. Most European countries are even smaller. i bought one of these a week ago because of your review, everything you said is right, and i love it

"Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
Love muscle cars. Next time one from the 70s. It would be amazing.
70's muscle car footage on the Autobahn would be horrendous for your audience. Most did ~120mph (193kmh). Horrible aerodynamics, short gearing, and 4-speed manual (3-speed auto) transmission.
Hemi Superbird or Daytona then.
All the grunt and aero you could want.
Very cool to see these American cars being driven (legally) the way they were meant to…. Fast! Love these autobahn videos :)
i'd actually prefer the ScatPak over the HellCat...partly the cost per pound, and also the supercharger whine is a layer of complexity and noise I don't need...280 kmh is fast enough for me. I have a Plum Crazy Charger R/T with the smaller 5.7, and it's a great around town car, but would like to trade up to the 6.4
Also hellcat don't come in manual transmission
@@DPelicanGamingyes they do
You've got REALLY good taste in cars! I just bought a beautiful Scat Pack Challenger.
I have a 2020 Widebody Scat Chally...octane red....they have a eco mode for city driving so ya don't peel out all the time..lol...it is so much fun to drive and I do not see very many widebodys out on the road...it gets a lot of looks and thumbs up...oh and the mustangs and camaros rev at me alot.
The sensitive pedal is so real, I used to own a grand caravan and even the pedal in that is super sensitive
Mopar is beginning to become what BMW used to be. The brand that is passionate about the joy and fun of driving.
M2 CS and M5CS still true to their core.
@@Areku06 😂🤣 sure... even as a bmw guy I beg to differ
@@Areku06 brother once you drive this 392 challenger you will have a permanent smile on your face...if you ever get the chance drive the 6 speed manual model with the widebody...a BMW may have more prestige and heritage but this car will leave you permanently smiling...its badassery on wheels
@@monikhushalpuri I do like chargers with scat pack. But for the price I think would get f80 m3 or used m5. Challengers hold their value well and little overpriced on used market. @@Areku06 oh definitely, considering family I'd go with with the X5M as well, buddy of mine has an m4 gts and it's a great car but the automatic doesn't add much to it, told him he should've gotten the manual, I personally love the naturally aspirated M cars, those you cannot beat just very fun to drive

Clearly more muscle cars please!I d love to see a Corvette C7 Z06 because I know you ll surely have a blast with it.
It might be really heavier than my Mustang GT because I can get to 260 way more quickly 🤔
There is really a problem in Europe with cars price. 40K USD and you get a V8 492 HP and in Europe you get a Renault 1.6 liter LOL
You get a Renault 1.6 for 40k which does from 0 to 100 around 50 seconds ...
No one measure them for 100-200 because it takes infinity to reach and you will run out of fuel faster 😂

@@dreamcrusher112 Merica is great for freedom, cars, gas being not expensive (here it s 1.85 per liter of gas), almost taxes free ( I paid 10K euro for my 2020 Mustang GT just to have the right to put it on the road, and then 2500 euro every year for instance), I dont even mention all taxes around property, waste management, sewer maintenance, car insurance being very expensive...etc, aviation friendly, lot of space, in general a real estate market being less expensive, 2nd amendment (it s crazy here in belgium to have the right to keep weapons at home: 10 shooting session minimum per year, 30 ammos shoot per session, subscription to the federation every year circa 200 euros, medical check up and criminal record extract every year for federation license renewal)...not so good for medical stuff though which is the main hurdle for me to move in the US but apart of that I d be happy to live there 😁
Much heavier than your Mustang. Mustang is about 3850lbs, while Challenger is about 4250lbs. 400lbs and worse Aero is gonna slow it down.
Now, please the Original 1970 Dodge Challenger ✌️💯
Love the dodgers challengers is amazing 🔥❤️
At 8:50 when you mention how the sensitive throttle tuning from a stand still makes you "the a$$hole" every time, I completely agree!! I loved my 2015 ScatPack Challenger, it was a beast and a fantastic everyday driver, but I wished there was a button that would tame the throttle response when you just want a calm and casual drive in stop and go traffic. I got around this by putting it in manual mode and bumping it into second gear. A button with an a$$hole graphic with a slash through it to lock out second gear would have been nice, and SOOOO Dodge!!!! I also appreciate that you understand that these cars are all about FUN.
R u serious those cars go that fast! I live in the USA and just took possession of a ;2022 scat that I ordered in November
True muscle car. 💪
The one’s who have disliked this video are tiktok jdm fanboys .. the ones who have never driven a JDM but still talk about horsepower and torque
It's my twin. Same paint job and same spoiler, wide body ect. Very nice comfy car.
Why the F*** can't every modern car manufacturer make there digital speedometer as fast and responsive as this one. It's so satisfying to see the numbers fly as you accelerate.
I love these cars, they aren't as fast or sophisticated as euro cars but something so loveable about muscle cars
Muscle cars are just their to have fun and male jokes about the small german engines.
"Side View Mirror That Acts Like a Looking Glass Into The Past" is actually the funniest english joke I've ever heard lol

Any chance of a Viper ACR? I'd looove to hear your impressions on that B E A S T of a car!

Por lo menos un Viper 8.4 sea GT o T/A seria terrible... El ACR en autobahn no creo que supere los 270 km/h.

If you put it in eco mode (heaven forbid) the sensitive throttle goes away and its as tame as can be.. The best thing I did with mine was get rid of the factory Pirelli's and put a set of Michelins on.

I enjoy a mix of American muscle cars along with your usual entries. Not so much on suv/crossovers.
"Challengers of the 60's". First model year of Challenger production was 1970.
I'm glad I had that in my jeep.
horse power is actually 485, not 492. the motor is a 392 Cu, maybe that's where the confusion comes from. Also the Challenger RT came out in 1970, so it's not a car from the '60's but rather from the 70's. Note also that the listed top speed for a 2021 challenger scat pack is 268 Kmh, so in fact in this video they exceeded the top speed by a few Kmh. I would never, ever drive that fast in a challenger in those conditions though; all it would take is one of those cars to not see you coming and change lanes in front of you and you'll all be dead.
If you can test a Jeep Trackhawk. That would be cool
Probleem is, zo'n wagen is veel te duur in belgie op gebied van taksen. Ik heb deze wagen gereden in de usa als rental, was er helemaal weg van.
I wonder why a non-American is 'a bit loose in the seat'

yes finally!!
scatpack charger is more awesome 😎
Yes we want us car
for those anyone thinking why theres 392 next to scatpack is not its horsepower, its the engine size, the scatpack has around 500bhp, it has 485bhp
11:05 yes sir indeed, those shift looks and felt very sluggish. Not more laggy than the Lykan tho lol
It's crazy it can only do 4.7 with all that power. But the design is gorgeous.
Stop to compare with TURBO or 4WD cars, do it with n/a and rwd like it should... For example 4.7 seconds is what does a Ferrari F550 Maranello
@@FEGTTTSDH In my mind it's nothing to do with fairness, you pay your money and you get a car. If another car, with a different configuration can do more with less or for less - that deserves praise. As it gets older and older the one thing this car has in undeniable amounts is style. It's just a the best retro-modern reinterpretation I've seen. It's also 500 lbs too heavy and should have AWD, much better crash test scores, and more modern engines but has been neglected for updates. So I'm not picking on it out of ignorance that it isn't AWD, but calling it out for being so neglected by its manufacture. Hope that makes sense.
Can we have a strip in America with no speed limit 😢
Yes.. We want more of American cars
Yes please more Muscle Cars !

It is a beautiful car. I had a 1971 Challenger that I loved. The trouble with it is, it's over weight. Both the Mustang and Camaro will simply KILL it on a road race track. It is very fast in a straight line and is super sexy.
