Chrono Trigger Speedrun (Any%) -

Chrono Trigger SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from selecting New Game (pendulum screen starting to fade) to the final Elixir Glitch input (targeting cursor disappearing). Frame counted to 2:57:44.103.

Pretty solid run for strats used, aside from Acid/Alkaline fight, 3rd try Heckran Skip, and botched Melchior Skip.

Holy balls, about 5 mins in I realized why he took the time to delete most of the character's name. It takes less time in dialogue if the character's name is only one character long. Good show

How do you skip that fight at 5:50? I know I'm late, but I kinda just discovered speed runs and they always do some fuckery that baffles me.

There's a 2 pixel area at the end of the bridge, where if you move straight up the curved shape of the upper cliff face will push Crono through a hole in the loading trigger for the bird fight. Because of how tight the positioning is, I pause the game mid-step in order to make pixel-precise movement easier (which is what causes the game to briefly dim a few times).
