- Welcome back to Star Ocean 2 The Second Story R. Today, I have an infinite Fol making trick for you. This is so easy to do, the setup just takes a little effort. Max out Cooking and Replication (just one character needed for each) and find a shop that sells Magic Film. For the cost of 18,000 fol, you can make a tidy profit from ranging around 37,000 fol to almost a million in just one minute! Then rinse and repeat!

Love your tips and guides. Anyway just noticed the replication was bad in the 2nd part is because you were using Rena who has success rate of 20%. While Claude has 70%. Thanks again, and keep sharing. Much appreciate. :)

Here's a strategy that will get you alot of early game fol. I used this for crafting materials and whatever would make me overpowered early game.
So level up cusmization to 3 or 4 on Claude. Having at least level 3 or 4 on alchemy so that you could turn iron into rubies would also help you get fol faster. After you go to Crosse and meet the king you unlock alot of abilities. But you need to level them. Each character that levels customization can make special weapons for themselves with that skill. Fast travel back to Salva and buy what you can of longswords+rubies. There's an item and weapon shop in the same building there that has everything you need. If you leveled customization to 3 or 4 you should be able to customize that longsword into a flame sword. It will cost 400 fol f🎉the ruby and 200 for the longsword. However if you transmute iron into rubies it will cost you only 200 for the rubies because you transmuted them. You can sell the flamesword for 1300 fol for a 900 fol profit. That might not seem like much but it will add up. If you keep ramping up the money you will be able to craft and sell them in batches of 10. Ten plus 900=9000 fol a batch. But you must level the skills that I mentioned till the success rate for what you are crafting is 100 percent. It doesn't mean you have to max the level of the skills, just to the levels I specified. Also I got lucky and customized for myself a flamesword that had attack + 20%. It's been my go-to sword for some time now. I could probably do better now with something else but I wanted to progress through the story more than work on anything else for now. Still I hope this helps anyone who reads this.

About that the STOLEN Battle suits off of Ernest in this version still SELLS for 24 million fol each that's still ENOUGH to Last for the entire game Santa boots aren't worth its cost and CAN be stolen anyways.

You can actually start this trick before doing Kross Cave. You can pickpocket a magic camera in Kross Castle and can buy Magic Film using the Familiar skill.
If you can get a forged document, than you can replicate that and it sells for 80k fol with appraisal on
Use contraband skill to make a forged document then duplicate it. It sells for like 60k gold
I find this method better. More items can be sold using contraband. Magic film has a decent fail rate I feel.
You can publish all the novels you create and make a constant stream of fol.
Definitely forged document until you get to where you can fight iselia queen via devils aria level 10 music she drops demon sword levantine and archangels armband both of which sell for between about 20 to 25 million each when you are using group apprasing
I made the RIRICA then copied "Fanfic ;)" since it's easy to make early on and sells for over 17,000 with my level of Group Appraising and has a 100% copy rate. Get writing high enough to get the rest of the skills to 7 by making and reading books that can boost skills with everyone then off to Laceur for the tournament because I always go to Linga first.
Honestly you don't need to wait this long to get excessive Fol. As early as reaching Hilton you can buy Premium Paper to use with Contraband. You only need to succeed at creating a Forged Document once, and then you can just replicate them infinitely. If you're worried about losing affection between allies, just use a Konjac Jelly (Master Chef Fruit + Vegetables) and make 10 attempts at a time for maximum effectiveness. Or just steal a Forged Check from Zande's Henchman at the table in the bar at Harley and replicate that endlessly.

once you progress far enough in the game, Fol has never been a problem in this game
Nectar with Sole in Wine Sauce (Sea Food + Fruit) sells for 100K ... Even faster than that is through Contraband.

The other fastest way guys is to buy and sell luxury grape juice(RP=500k) you can drop down the price of it for 197k (using Cinderella glass and secret account) and use group appraisal. Then it will sell it for 261k(depends on what level is your group appraisal the higher the better)mine is 30%, overall discount price of 65% that's why I got a deficit of 70k.😅😂
You're close. Definitely on the right track. You're just missing a few steps. Group Appraisal to Level 10. Use Food to increase your Group Appraisal by 10%. Then use Cinderella Glass + Secret Account to get 35% off in the shop. Total discount is 75% and you can buy the Luxury Grape Juice for 231,000 Fol and sell it for 471,000 Fol. 241,000 Fol Profit per Grape Juice.
The first time Claude is transported to his dads ship mid game, pickpocket the battle suit from one of the ship mates. This suit will sell for 3 billion fol. You will not have to worry about money from their on
Its not 3 billion even in the Previous versions they sold for 24 Million but even that's enough to last for the ENTIRE game on a OPERA + Ernest run steal 2 of them off of Ernest and on this version they still sell for 24 Million each.
You probably noticed while editing the video already but the reason you got bad results was because you accidentally switched to rena for replication the second time.
Why not replicate the magic rice also?
Person who still needs to buy the game: Does this method work on the rice itself? As a completionist, keeping the base material in reserve to fill out my recipe list seems to be the smart play.

OR JUST SELL the still USELESS Battle suit armors stolen off of Ernest those STILL Sell for 24 MILLION Fol which is still ENOUGH to last for the entire game even on EARTH mode.
Why would you sell the highest defense armors in the game? You can use those in post game with defense increasing factors to zero out damage. Not everyone likes bloody armors. I hate them personally. I'm not a fan of the idea of them. I don't like my HP constantly draining and I don't like enemies just randomly not being able to damage me so I refuse to use them.
The battle suit armor is PURE Crap for bloody armors as long as you have 1 HP left you'll never die But even at lv 255 on earth mode I still took 9999 damage against the floor 10 to 13 Cave of trials NORMAL enemies even WITH The Battle suit armor equipped so its still pure CRAP and it still sells for 24 MILLION Fol each.
I liked the game but its boring because of all these now game is no fun its like finishing the in only 4, hrs because your op already so its not a game already its no fun at all. Hope the developers didnt make all these cheats. Because you play to get fun not and understand the game. Ps1 i ddnt struggle with a Fol end game to much Fol its part of the game story. I finished the game more than hundrer of hours but it's very fun. Not its a boring. With all of these. You pay for the game to enjoy not cheat early on the game. Is this fun?taking the Marvel sword early game. In your self did you enjoy the game?no.
To be fair, the Marvel Sword trick has always been in the game and it has never been nessary to win. What is more nessary is probably customization and alchemy to get the high level weapons around lvl 60 once you are at Energy Nede. As for money, it has never been nessary to get that much fol because either you have enough at that point of the game (Nede), or you just make cards. Again, all of this is in the PS1 era. The only thing that has changed is the fishing, the quests, and bodyguarding. You still could very easily cheese the game, no matter what version it was. You can cheese the game a little or a lot.
Just dont use it then...
@@ragnarok5652 So the problem with inf fol tricks is that it isn't nessary for this version of the game. This stratagy used to be much more helpful for the orginal game. In this version, while its fun to talk about, its kinda clickabaity instead of actually being helpful.
@@misterfour8233 I just dont understand people who complain about these tricks, even OP hoping the developers not to made it. I mean, its an offline game, you dont play with other people and the developer didnt force you to use it, you can turn off the bodyguard or dont use the IC to make lot of Fol or dont event get the goodie box. So for people who complain about why it make the game too easy, why did they use those tricks? Just dont use it and its done....
@@ragnarok5652 So, I do get what you are saying, and yes SO2R is a very breakable game and it makes the game fun.
The problem is that certain tricks were needed in the old SO2 but are not in SO2. Such as getting a lot of money or using counterfeit medals. Because SO2 had a much more "difficult?" luck system, certain skills like counterfiet medals were used because you can use them regularly.
For example, Precis has a skill called Megabeam. A very good skill in both SO2 and SO2R. But you never see people talk about that skill on SO2 because you had maybe a .0001% chance to get that skill. The point is because certain stuff was not as fun to break, money was a system that could be broken so that you had the resources to do the more expensive to break. In SO2, things just cost more.
Now, you get a lot more stuff in the game, especially early game, that requires very little fol. And that comes down to the early SP gain, especially 4 or 5 inherent skill gains per character by crafting stuff, the easier access and luck around skills, and the many tricks you can do. Fast writing. Keen Knife and Magic Camara at Krose. End game weapons before the end of Krose Cave. 400% per fight experience gains. Bodyguard SP/BP afk.
The point I am making a lot of the actual flow of the game has dramatically changed from SO2. Powerleveling on SO2 was about getting to a very high level quickly. SO2R Powerleveling is MUCH different now. Its more about how to get what you need when you need it as you like it, and ussually without grinding.
use ur music "goddesses arrival" to raise ur chance of creation on the item and use group apprising to raise the sell price.
