Hello Bob! A really epic Kajakadventure! Super nice pictures, wonderful music and a very good story-teller! And the best thing is: I can understand even though my English is so bad. I love that Paddling- Film! Always good luck and a little spirit of freedom, Thomas from Germany
Just caught up with this adventure Bob. Well videoed and as usual, very much enjoyed the commentary. The inner Hebrides must be God's gift to adventurous sea kayakers, lucky you. Really enjoy your adventures Bob. Long may you continue to showcase this beutiful part of the planet. Cheers....Peter
Just recently came across your RUclips channel... I am thoroughly enjoying all the sea kayak adventures you posted. I never hear you talk about your kayak and the equipment you use or that your friends use...would be interested in knowing more about your kayak & equipment. Thank you for all this great content!
Thank you very much😁 A few people have asked similar, probably not really my thing re making a video, but happy to answer any questions people have. Cheers
Thank you Bob for this wonderful video. Everything about it is memorable and I thank you for that. So much enjoyed and treasured. Thank you. Best wishes, Pam
As part of my geological degree I had to map the rocks of an area. I chose Kerrara, and spent 4 weeks on the island in 1978. The scenery is wonderful. Something that you missed out on, so are the people.
Mull is my favourite part of the Country. We ended up going there off the back of Gordon Buchanan's Eagle Island when it was shown on BBC 2 in 2005. It was in Scotland I was first properly introduced to Kayaks, the sit on kind. Last year was the first time I took my own sit on top to Mull, and this year was my first time kayak surfing and paddling along the south coast in either direction of Uisken Bay seeing the Geology and some of the wildlife made me change my mind from getting an open top canoe to getting a Sea Kayak. I would love to have gone for a Composite boat, but my weight and cost was a factor against then the former more than the later, as I looked at a few secondhand ones online and then checked the Manufactures websites for specs. I really fancied the idea of paddling over to Colonsay Island, but not on my Sit on top. So I now have a Touring/Sea Kayak, more the former due to it being just under 15', and I am just waiting to get my car back from the Garage so that I can take it out on a local river to get used to it. Then later on start attending courses so that I am safe on the water. Even though I have been in good size swells and even tried Kayak Surfing and feel comfortable on the water, having a narrower boat and not having been in a Canoe as we used to call them, for soon to be forty years. Watching your Videos of your Sea Kayaking Adventures is making me want to explore more of the Hebrides.
Excellent, sea kayaking opens up so many unique trips and places to visit. As you say, get your skill and knowledge up to the right level and then you can explore anywhere. Enjoy your adventures!!
Hey Bob, thank you so much for this Christmas present! Another very nice video! If this continues, I must put the Scottish coast on my agenda. Greetings from Berlin
Thanks, yea its a super trip. I use a mouth mount, i find it easy to turn camera on and off, keep the lens free from droplets etc and lets me pan around as I paddle to give some variety to the shot. I also think it gives a slightly better angle of view that a head mount. Only disadvantaged is that the camera is loose on its tether when not in use, only a problem in challenging conditions, but I can stuff it in my BA when i need to. Cheers
You must be a secret agent for Scottish Tourism? How beautiful was Gylen Bay? I think this is your best produced video to date.
Ha ha, many thanks for the kind comnents. Yes I love Gylen bay, I've camped there before and will be again I hope😁

At 60 the expeditions in harsh conditions were doable. At nearly 80 it is enjoyable to watch a more mellow expedition and know that it isn't over yet.
Indeed Gary. I have a friend who's 85 he is out kayaking and windsurfing every week
I love the look of hard chined boats, just ordered a Anas Acuta so can’t wait to get the call to pick it up
A classic, not that I've paddled one, but a mate used to have one and keeps saying how good it was.
Très belle vidéo 👍
Merci pour le partage
Thank you, Merci😁
C’est magnifique, merci pour ce partage.
Merci😁

Wow Muhteşem bir etkinlik 😍
Thank you 😁
Another great trip ,thanks for the video,I am thoroughly enjoying them.
What kind of camera are you using?
Thank you. I'm using gpro 9
I want to do this so bad, fantastic video capturing beautiful scenery. Is your camera on yourhead or your chest?

Stunning kayak video. So relaxing and inspiring to watch. May I ask what model is your black/white North Shore kayak? Thank you.
Thank you😁 my boat is an Ocean 17 in Carbon Kevlar one of the very last "proper" North Shore boats built by Mike. I love it😁
Great videos . What make is your camp chair as looking for one that folds or that you can take apart
Thanks, there are a few makes very similar, they are light and fold away into a small ish pack, mine is a go outdoors one
A quick look ans I dont see this style in Go Outdoors right now, I will see if I can find one similar on line... will post here when I do!
