Friends in Dundee took me to Loch Tay & Killin. Beautiful place. I had to come back and see once again. And I have many times. Then I discovered Ben Lawers. In the USA I live along the Allegheny River north of Pittsburgh, near Kittanning Pennsylvania. Nothing like being on the water or high on a mountain.....Reesedale Pennsylvania.

Hi the loch is about 17 miles long and depends where you are paddling from. If you look at my other footage on 'Canoe Camp May 2013' that's also Loch Tay and shows a few good camping places. Bob

The80smusicrocks Hi, that was at the banks of the loch close to the old village of Lawers. The steam ferry used to leave from this area many many years ago. You will see more details of this particular area on 'Wild Camping - Loch Tay July 2011'. Honestly not just trying to get you to look at my stuff but you do get a larger view of the site. Bob

The80smusicrocks Not if your only staying a couple of nights and moving on to another site and so on. I think thats always the best thing to do when your wild camping! Enjoy :-)
