    This car is very underrated by a lot of People because it has less HP, but it’s a much better choice as a daily driver or for someone who can’t afford a Scatpack or Hellcat. One feature not touched on in this video, is that the six speed manual cars come with much lower rear gearing I believe a 3.73 as opposed to a 3.07 in the automatics. This alone makes a significant difference in acceleration for street or strip, and of course the manual is much more fun!

    • @mrfuriouser
      @mrfuriouser 3 года назад

      Great point. The difference in driving/acceleration is huge!

    • @jjsrt8

      Also the manual gives you a limited slip where the auto is a open diff

    The 19 Challenger with the 6 speed is amazing. I just got a 19 with the shaker package and performance handling group. I love it.

      That wide body package is bad ass....you can add it on...I'm thinking about it....also...explore the launch mode...I did a 5 second 0-60 without launch mode. I'm going to try launch at 3700 starting in second gear...I'm not going to beat my brothers z06...but I think I can get a 4,3

      @@JimS870 The Shaker is only on the Scat Pack 6.4. (2900.00 option?) In some of the forums owners are complaining about the seal on the shaker leaking rainwater onto the engine....not sure if Dodge has resolved that.

    I love my 2013 R/T w/6 speed. Mine is the base model, no options. I have an AM/FM/CD, air conditioning and cruise. I didn't buy it for a bunch of creature comforts or gizmo's. It's my "toy", I bought it to drive and have fun. Make no mistake, the R/T can get you into as much trouble as you want to get in, and more. I've had mine for 7+ years and I'm very happy with it.

    I love my RT Plus Shaker in a 6 speed, it has the 8.4 inch touch screen, blind spot assist, etc... Exhaust note is intoxicating, especially with mid muffler delete.... Menacing street performer!

    I had a 2018 392 shaker automatic. The zf 8 speed in that car is absolutely amazing. It’s legendary for a reason. They put that zf in so many high performance cars like bmws, hellcat, etc. the only thing I didn’t like about the auto was how it knocks itself down to 4 cylinders when ur crawling slow through a city or town Main Street when everyone is looking and waving and the car sounds like a civic. U could keep it in sport to prevent that from happening tho. I traded in the scat for a awd bmw m235 bc I broke up with my ex and she worked from home and let me use her new wrangler anytime the roads were bad (I live in NY) and she worked from home in our apt so it was at my disposal but the bimmer which was such a fun little car, felt weak as hell bc I was spoiled from daily driving a 392 and I missed that muscle so much that 4 years later (last week) I traded in the bmw for a 2015 blacked out scat pack challenger with a 6 speed manual, Barton short throw shifter, lowered on coil overs, nitto 555r 305 extreme drag tires in the back 275 up front. Triple 6 hellcat rims, hellcat hood, and 6 piston brembos. Some old man was the first and only owner and he tricked it out with the intentions of dragging it at the track but never did bc of health issues so all he did was drive it to car shows. It only had 7,000 miles on it and it’s a 2015!. This old man had very good taste and he did everything to this car I always wanted to do on my old scat. He traded it in at the dodge dealership I’m a sales consultant at and the service record was flawless. He grabbed a pre owned hellcat we had with 12k miles on it for 73k. This was a once in a lifetime find and when I saw it on our lot I had to have it. I’ll never get rid of this car I’m already looking for a 5,000 dollar beater to use 90% of the time to preserve this gorgeous car. I love mopar so much, our trucks jeeps, suvs, and sports cars are the absolute best and in my opinion way more fun and beautiful than any other cars on the road period.

    I was complaining about the position of the Ebrake when I first got mine. After some research, turns out that the 15+ challenger is based on the 71 challenger.. the ebrake on that bad boy was a foot pedal. Hence why we have the foot pedal ebrake. Makes bumper to bumper traffic while on a hill fun!!

    • @BurnseysRT
      @BurnseysRT 4 года назад +2

      Miami Avi the newer models not sure when it started has hill assist which is nice. If you have the brake and clutch depressed it won’t allow the car to roll back until the clutch starts engaging or like 5+ seconds.

    I ordered a 2022 RT/shaker in May. Still waiting to take delivery. I was concerned that the Challenger might be coming to the end, and I didn’t want to miss out. Only this morning August 16/2022 I read Dodge is indeed ending the production of the gas powered Challenger. If you want one, better move fast !

    My main question concerning this car is how does it feel when cornering? I'm looking for a new daily but still want something relatively agile coming from a Focus ST. I haven't even ridden in one of these so I have no idea what they feel like. If it feels like a boat when cornering it might be a no go for me. Is the mileage relatively good with mostly highway?
    The perfect car does not exist... =(

    Just ordered my 2021 Challenger Scatpack 6 spd.....of course I need to wait longer than the folks in the states because... yeah ..even if I live an hour from the plant lol. Middle of the winter for me when it arrives!....unless it's longer than a 3 month wait which is okay too lol BUT! back to the manual, I love the clutch on these cars, they are just a short peddle travel, and it grabs so nicely. the 392 is just perfect for these cars...plus you can hook up better.....sucks that we in Canada have to pay a grand EXTRA for the manual.

      @JimS870 3 года назад

      @@BMan100 I priced it out, and the price made my eyes bulge. I think it was near 70 grand MSRP lol. I was wondering what the real OTD price is. My Mustang GT in 2016 was about 46 OTD.

    • @BMan100
      @BMan100 3 года назад

      @@JimS870 finance rate is better than Mustang is better, and longer so that's 1 item... 2, I can't drive the mustang, the ergonomics of it and the clutch for me are awful, wanted to try and Bullitt but I just can't drive them...Camaro is useless to me so I got another Challenger. I'm on my second (posted a small walk around vid on my youtube) Shame it doesn't come with Laguna leather but I don't take a chance with used on these cars..they do hold their value mind you.
