▬Description▬
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[a] is a 2D side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS and a part of the New Super Mario Bros. series. It was released in 2009. A high-definition remastered port for the Nvidia Shield TV was released in China in December 2017.[6]
When Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad are celebrating Princess Peach's birthday in her castle, a large cake appears. Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings emerge from the cake and trap Peach inside. The cake is loaded onto Bowser's airship and it takes off, with Mario, Luigi, and the two Toads giving chase. The Toads in the castle grant them access to the new items, the Propeller Mushrooms and Penguin Suits.[42]
After traveling through several worlds fighting the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., and Kamek the Magikoopa, the Mario Bros. and the Toads arrive at Bowser's castle. Bowser is defeated but is revived by Kamek, who casts a magical spell that transforms him into a giant. Bowser chases after Mario and the others, destroying everything in his path, until Mario finds a large switch and triggers it, causing Bowser to fall through the ground and releasing Peach from her cage. Peach and Mario depart from the castle in a hot-air balloon, with Luigi and the Toads following behind.
The credits are shown as a minigame where the letters in the credits are written on blocks, which can be broken by the playable characters to get coins (all four characters appear, but only the ones controlled by players can get coins). After the credits, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings help Bowser out of his unstable castle, which falls over and traps them.

When Nintendo reissued super mario all Stars for the wii, as much as I enjoyed playing the games on it for the first time, come to think of it, it would have been better had they remastered them to look something like this!

Why is it that when there is NSMBWII rom hackk or it's emulated, the stars at Princess Peach's birthday are out of place?

@@missingno2401 Coin spinning can be enabled in the graphics settings of the emulator.
I'd assume it's a glitch with dolphin, (assuming that's the emulator they're using). I bet the star's positions are hardcoded based on the expected resolution, so when you upscale the Wii's resolution beyond normal limits, they're in the wrong spot. It could also be something in how the emulator handles decimals. If the original game rounded one way, but the emulator rounds differently (I.e. game rounds down, emulator rounds to the closest integer), things will always be a little off.
