Great video. I liked how you showed us how to start by pulling up the bobbin thread. Free Motion is new to me and I am looking forward to learning how to do it on my domestic machine. The tips are very helpful too! I am going to get some paper and start doodling and then try the loops on my machine. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos!

Teying to learn bow to do pretty things on my first quilt.. beey hard as I have a sewing machine that the feed dogs do not go down.. therefore I have to put a the plastic thing over them, which makes it hard to pull the fabric through.. I was wondering if someone had any tips on how to make it easier, I have a xl2600i brother sewing machine. I was just wondering if there was something else I could put over the feed dogs that would make it not a thick??? I ordered the part that is like ur medal circle thingy, mine is plastic though.. I tried to use that without the feed dog cover which helpes but I still not sure how to change the thread tension and stiff like that.. amy tips?
