Before watching, here are my guesses: Omega Seamaster 300M, Tudor Pelagos 39, Longines Spirit Zulu Time, Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400, and Tissot Seastar 1000.

Longines makes great watches for the price. When looking for a dress watch earlier this year, I bought their Flaship model with a gold dial. Longines isn't that popular in the States anymore, I recall their ads in magazines and newspapers in the 1950s and 1960s. It was considered one of the top luxury watches at that time.

Love the Aquaracer 200m in blue! I've had my eye on it for a while and it might be my next diver. Problem is, there's also the Pelagos 39, SPB143 (if I get sick of waiting for the Pelagos here in Australia), and Doxa Sub 300 that want in my box too.
Tag are too often overlooked IMO...Monaco, Carrera, Autavia, Aquaracer...all great lines! Heuer 02 has its quirks (noisy AF) but 80 hours power reserve in a chrono is real nice.

Can’t beat the Aqua Racer. I have the 200 in black and enjoy the size. Longines is probably the best affordable brand right now just below the luxury market. Heritage, Master Collection, and so many of their models are great. Tudor Black Bay Fifty Eight is great . Love the 39 and 41mm’s. Great value.

The Aqua feels very cheap in hands. I was veeery disappointed when I tried them (both the new and old generation AR).

the dial of the Tag Heuer aquaracer professionell 200 is just amazing. It's a very beautiful divewatch. I also like your Omega Seamaster 300 with the black bezel, the white dial and the James Bond strap, in my opinion it's more beautiful than a Rolex Submariner which costs more than double the price

Great watches, as always. I´m not sure which one ist my fafourite. I own a Seemaster with the white dial and I love it, but I´ve also preordered a Tudor Pelagos 39 mm on the day I´ve seen it live.
The Aquaracer looks fine but every time I think about Tag Heuer I´m not sure to buy one. Thumbs up for Longines, they made the right decicions the last years.

    I’d go
    OP 36 - choose your colour £4800
Oris big crown pointer date Cervo Volante. Again which ever colour you like. £1625 new can be had cheaper.
Hamilton khaki murph 38mm - £820 but can be found cheaper.
I’ll get back to you with the other 2!

Like you said, a Longines Spirit Zulu in 39/40mm would be amazing. The size was the only point which kept me from buying. I could pull it off but it feels wrong for me. I also have to agree about the Tudor Pelagos which is a great watch (just not my personal favorite). I'd go with the well loved BB58 which is just my personal preference. But you can't go wrong with each of them

I just bought the Longines Hydroconquest in black and 43mm. I really can’t get over how beautiful it is. I also have a Tag Fomula 1 but this Longines is far prettier. Imo. That Zulu in blue is next for me! It’s beautiful! Love your videos, too! Keep it up!

Some great choices, I can't really disagree with any of the list. Longines have certainly pulled there collective socks up over the last few years with some great examples at pretty good prices, if there was room for another Longines in the list I would suggest the Spirit 37mm, one that is certainly on my radar although I've yet to see it in the flesh but if its anything like the Zulu time it should be great. The very light Pelagos 39 is another cracker, a modern titanium tool watch that could complement the retro style BB58. As for the Great White, well I love it. The light play from the ceramic dial is simply stunning, with the date at 6 and a fully indexed bezel maintain symmetry perfectly.

10:10 - the Rolex OP might technically be £5100, but the chances of getting one (or pretty much any steel Rolex) at that price from an AD is rarer than rocking horse shit.

The white dial seamaster is an absolute banger! Big fan of the lonely green lume minutes hand oppose to the blue lume on the rest of the dial & hours hand. If I didn't already own a Watchco SM300, I'd pick up 'The Great White' SM for sure

lol...your affinity to Swatch group brands sounds a bit biased to me. The Hydro Conquest isn't bad watch for 1.9k, but on a TOP5 watches UNDER 5k list? One GMT and everything else redundantly picked divers from a desk diver? What about a chronograph (for ie. Tudor BB Chrono, or Longines Big Eye), everyday/sports watch etc?

I am cjdjdurrent eyeing the Omega Seamaster. But at the moment I am having trouble deciding between the Daniel Craig Casino Royale version or the latest version.😅 If anybody has any advice on, which to get please drop a comment. With regards to the latest version of the Seamaster I am trying to decide whether to get the blue dial or the grey dial version. I am leaning towards the blue as it looks stunning, and seems like the updated version of the Brosnan Goldeneye version of the Seamaster

Tag Heuer predominantly appeal to 16-24 year olds? 16….. to 24……?
Since when are 16 year olds even in the equation when it comes to $3k watch preferences? That’s more than I had in the bank at that age 😂
Man, we’re just living in a different world than the one I grew up in. And I’m only 30.

Sorry, it really doesn't! The 42mm Pelagos has a better bezel, better legibility, better bracelet, better clasp, better hands, better helium escape valve, better water resistance, better price! I owned a seamaster for years but was difficult at best to dive with...the Pelagos blows it away AND with the money saved pays for your weekend away diving!
