Bike is looking better and better!....great job on the grill. Hitchcock's are nice people to deal with, and even if you don't have an Enfield their catalogues are great. I bought some panniers from them for my Xt660z Tenere 5yrs ago and they have been excellent. Your 3M mount for the indicators works a treat! Cheers, Steve
@@DormanDiaries The proof is in the result...looks good to me! My GoPro has been on my crash helmet for years on the same mount..they are pretty tough. Anyway, as I said...bike looks great and your videos have given me a kick up the backside to 'make ' more bits for my bike(as I used to) rather than just buy them! The pannier supports on my XR650R are made from lawn mower handles!!! Cheers, Steve
Mate, great video. Its great that you find alternate solutions for mounting. Can you help though, I cannot find those terminals. I have been searching for weeks. You said land rover site, but even thats not helping. Do you have a link, or maybe a name? Cheers!
hi great job, the link of the sockets does not work, if the page no longer exists, can you tell me the name of the sockets so that I can search for them? Thank you!
Hello I am looking for a left switch with the warning light function, and I found some on ebay and other chinese websites but I don't know if the wiring they bring is the same as the RE Interceptor. something that just need plug, because otherwise I have to consult the wiring diagram.
Maciej Łubiński - no not needed I fitted a relay in an earlier video when I did the rear indicators. It’s a straight swap for the existing one. Much easier
Great video and commentary. Im planning on installing some LED turn signals and brake light on my Interceptor soon and was wondering if I needed to add some resistors to prevent them from hyperblinking. Did you add them on your bike by any chance? Happy New Year!
Know of any LED indicators that would work with the stock headlight bracket? I own the OEM RE screen and it requires the stock bracket. Have looked at a few companies (BAAK, TEC, motone...) and none of them offer such lights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏼
Wiring the indicators? Practice your skills on some old wire first. Don't force connectors look and understand how they work usually come apart easier than you think.
Cool video! Love the headlamp like this. Are the indicators bright enough? I got some from China and took them off because I almost did not see the blinking during daytime.
They are reasonably bright but you can never make up for surface area of larger indicators. If I'm in a dangerous position ie car behind that my tail end me etc I give a cautionary hand signal to make sure they are awake. In day light it can be hard to see some of the newer car signals too.
Nice touch wil the hand signal. I ordered some bar-end blinkers with 2 leds in them this weekend. Amber and white, both 3w, with 3 wires to connect. Going to let them blink simultaneously and see how bright that will be. 😄 Keep up the cool video's. Like em a lot! 😉
@@rvdp - these were 3 wire as well I cut off the white wire from inside. You have a good idea, though I think the white will bleach the amber. Perhaps you could try and tint the lens amber, then I think your idea will work very well.
Is one thing I dont like on interceptor and GT650 is the lamp, is old style, look at Kawasaki Vulcan, is modern light lamp, in car industri they make car more modern, why not bike? Yes is classic this bikes, but is not forbidden make little different...
Those turn signals look like Motogadget “blaze disc” bar end turn signals, the way you mounted them with 3M double face from a go pro accessory is very.. mmmm...amateurish At least is “reversible”, head light grid is ok.
Yeah those are bar end indicators. Though they can be used too like this if you get the ones with bolts you can just install them on many bikes without 3M tape

Thanks Steve, According to Carlos below my 3M mount is amateurish..... I should stick some panniers on with 3M for the laugh

@@stepheneldridge6998 I've got a good fabrication video coming up for the fly screen

Did you need to use resistors for the indicators?
Enjoyed that
Bike is looking great!
Hi, I saw your video where you removed the badge on tank but did you make a video where "painting" the Royal Enfield logo? Thanks
Hi, my logo is a transfer ive not clear coated over the top and its still going strong! Didn’t make a video on it unfortunately
@@DormanDiaries Be patient where did you get the transfer? Tks

Anyone know where i can find a headlight grill like the one in this video
Nice work!

Looks great, do you have an updated link for the indicators at all? Thanks!
Superb 👍
Did I miss you mention where you got the LED indicators were from ?
Oyley Hands - oh sorry forgot that, just ebay. Search for bar end indicators. They were only cheap about £3.50
You do a nice job.
Thank you Paul, nice of you to say so
Looks nice
Good job. No need for resistors with LED? Usually you must ad them, because of the speed of the indicators.
Maciej Łubiński - no not needed I fitted a relay in an earlier video when I did the rear indicators. It’s a straight swap for the existing one. Much easier
Where can I buy the headlight grill
I got it from hitchcocks and modified it a little bit

Thank you. Just an LED relay, it’s under the nearside panel. Easy swap and much cleaner than resistors.
@@DormanDiaries Much appreciated. Cheers

Hi Mate,
You could use these and stick in the same way, I've since seen these on loads of standard ones.
Cheers
Those indicators are designed to be on the end of handle bar
They can be used to replace stock ones too.
I'm hoping to attempt this job on my bike in the coming days but I'm a little nervous about breaking the bike, any tips for first timers?

Maybe the net should have been inserted from the inside?

@@DormanDiaries good tip!! I will try it out. Maybe with some plastic stage light covers on the inside (those are heat resistant). 👍😄

Sorry sir but I must say that Int 650 is beautiful bike and you made circuse out of it
No heart for me?, I maybe criticize but I’m also a subscriber 🤔
Super
not a fan of 360° indicators in the front , they get enoying at night when they shine into your eyes all the time
