    Thank you so much for this life saving video. I just received my first order and this video was a life saver. I have an important question. Once I fulfill the order on the Shopify side, do I need to do anything on the Etsy side?

      Glad it was helpful! (I think you mean Printify not Shopify?) And, right, when you approve the order in Printify and it's in production, Printify will automatically update the tracking info in Etsy when it ships!
      I do check it periodically to make sure though.

    I loved your parts 1, 2, & 3! They’re super thorough and detailed. What I didn’t catch is what printifys shipping looks like. For example, I usually include a thank you note and cute tissue paper. Does printify offer this? THANK YOU again!

      Great question! In general, the product arrives in a non-descript poly bag or box with the return address has your shop name. Nothing fancy whatsoever! You can preview the packaging by going to the product page in the catalog (like these mugs: printify.grsm.io/mugs ) and clicking 'More Details", then the Production tab. Most items show a preview or description of the packaging. No notes or messages and no packaging personalization beyond your Store Name in the Printify settings.

    Hello) A little confused! If I create a copy on ETSY of my previous listing and change it for my new listing content- how the Printify knows about it once I got Order? Is it appear in my Printify shop automaticaly? Sorry I am new here. Thanks)

    Hi there! A question, what if the customer is to buy an item you have in hand along with a printify listing. How do you go about shipping the in hand item, do you print another separate shipping label and pay the cost?

    What is the great benefit from working with printify opposite of just working with the pod companies directly?

    • @whutsy
      @whutsy  2 года назад

      Great question! Being able to integrate almost seamlessly with an Etsy shop is a big plus. But I know Printify has different pricing for items vs the companies directly (more and less $$) So worth looking into, especially if you are doing volume - but also compare to Printify Premium, may be worth it too for the discounts.

    How do you get a tracking number when it ask you on printify ?

    • @whutsy
      @whutsy  Год назад +1

      Once the order is fulfilled in Printify, they will attach tracking number(s) to the order. In Printify, go to Orders and click on the one you want to see the tracking number for. If the order is synced to Etsy, Printify will update the tracking for the Etsy order for you.

      Once your order is synced with Printify, they will update the tracking and fullfill your order for you as soon as it ships.

    Thank you for this video. Appreciate you going through all the steps in great detail (including Parts 1 and 2). I have a few questions though... What happens after you fulfill the order on Printify? Does it automatically complete the order on Etsy? Do the customers receive a notification email with a tracking info when their orders are shipped? Can we add a physical thank you card on our Printify orders? Thanks!

    Thank you for your great vids- I notice when you set up ETSY you have to add in a listing product before you can upload a product from printify- so I did a fake one to get started so I could connect my 1st listing on printify to ETSY (as printify wont connect until all your setting are filled in ETSY-which includes one product) . Then I deleted that original fake listing on ETSY BUT I see ETSY still charged me for it even though I deleted it a few minutes later -its not a big deal but just confusing

    • @whutsy
      @whutsy  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, I totally understand and that's a great point. You do need to have an "open" shop to connect. But here's a tip... don't delete listings, just Deactivate. Then you can re-cycle the "listing" for something else and not get charged the listing fee again (so long as you reactivate it within the original 3 months)

    So the balance will be deducted from my card (credit/debit ) to fulfill the cost of making that product or etsy will directly send the payment to printify …

    • @Dreamy-writer
      @Dreamy-writer Год назад

      You have to pay for the production and shipping costs out of your own personal credit/debit card. Then you are "paid back" when Etsy pays you

  • @AndreVDO-1919
    @AndreVDO-1919 2 года назад +1

    Hi- VERY confusing - So if you create a copy of the listing in ETSY - 1) how does it translate back to Printify- where do I make the picture changes in ETSY or printify for the sameT shirt and specs with a different design from the same printing company ? If you not doing customized items cant you just duplicate in printify and send that to ETSY.

    • @whutsy
      @whutsy  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching! Part 3 of the series will walk you through all that. And yes, you can copy in Printify and push to Etsy too. But, there's a lot of editing you need to do on some listings anyways. So, I find it easier to copy in Etsy and sync it up to Printify after an order comes in.

    Printify doesn’t give me an option to see the dimensions of my item to plug into Etsy for some reason. This is preventing me from being able to open shoo

      If Printify doesn't have the dimensions in the product description in their catalog, reach out to Printify Help to get the info and to let them know it's missing.

      Thanks for commenting! You will need to do that math yourself, as it will be different for everyone. Use the information in Etsy gives you in the Payment Accounts section and the invoices in Printify for your orders.
