Our shop dived when gift mode started. The majority of our items are for book lovers and gift mode doesn't have that as a category. Not that I can find anyway.

You're right about crafters gifts. I am a crafter, and my kids always buy me supplies as gifts and I love it.

The very first thing I ever used ChatGPT for, was to rewrite product descriptions, and I absolutely love it! it’s amazing how you don’t have to even tell ChatGPT very much about the product because just the name of the product tells ChatGPT enough to write like five good sentences for a product description! Now I know this can be tedious for people who’ve got hundreds and hundreds of listings But at some point you will have to choose if you’re going to continue relisting an item. For example what I do on my digital Etsy shop with a little over 100 listings versus the product account. I am responding on right now. Because I have two Etsy shops What I do with my digital Etsy shop with over 100 listings only list twice, before I decide to go in and revamp the listing to see what I can do to make it better whether it’s with redoing the photos, redoing the keyword, redoing the title, or maybe just lowering the price or offering more… that is the best time for you to slowly overtime update each of your listings with an AI generated description. Now, if you have a listing, that’s already doing good in my opinion the only thing I would change is the description not the title or keywords or anything else because if anything, you could always improve your product description which still ties into the Google algorithm or the Etsy algorithm . But if anything, if you are just with a one sentence, description, or no description descriptions are absolutely needed for a buyer to make a purchasing decision between you and somebody else that might have the exact same listing! I use ChatGPT to help generate my podcast episodes, my blog posts, certainly have revamped my résumé and cover letters using ChatGPT And I’ve done all of this access using ChatGPT to get the ball, rolling in the last six months more than anything . In fact, considering that tech companies are laying people off because of the benefits of AI technology, I truly believe as Americans move forward we all need to be learning how to utilize ChatGPT to better our businesses, to help streamline a process on other creative projects, and to Help make our resumes better So that as a human, we can continue to have employment or run a business and make profit .

I don’t know what type of computer you use, but on a Mac you can hit Command Plus to enlarge the image on your screen. Command Minus shrinks it.

How do I add arrows to the large image in the default product (thumbnail carousel layout) so that users can just click on the arrows to go through images instead of having to click on the thumbnails underneath?

OMG!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! Thank you SOOO much! You just have no idea how appreciative I am! I went your website (the part of the video where you had the calculator on your website) to take a look... And just about 2 hours ago, I was saying to myself as I'm pouring coffee at 10:38pm, "Why is there not an Etsy Checklist? I'm a visual learner..." yada yada "I need to see a Step by Step Checklist..." And then went on YT looking for How to CREATE an Etsy listing.... And here we are. (Oh, and I saw the Checklist, that's where I was going with that. And I have A.D.D. Sorry bout that.😳) Although I kept getting distracted with this 15 oz mug template I bought (there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut answer on what the actual dimensions are). I'm making a cheat sheet with all the dimensions (pixels, inches, aspect ratio, etc) for the products I'm going to sell. I've got a lot of my designs completed for my mugs, but the dimensions all seem to be wrong when I apply them to the mockup photos. I use Canva Pro, PicsArt Pro, Midjourney Pro, and ChatGPT Pro accounts. I'm smart as a whip... I have a PhD for cryin' out loud! I I ought to be able to figure this out! don't know why I'm so lost with this Etsy stuff! And I really WANT this... (I'm also an Artist ... so I'm extremely dedicated!)
