      I love how this is now considered "boring" when just a season ago, this would have been average. A few events here and there, the leader blasting away at the front, some sprinkles of weather threats that never come and one of the top 4 going on a counter strategy.

      @@magnus1708 gasly ruined his own race. funny how not too many people notice how alonso's actions affected gasly which made gasly move unpredictably into leclerc who was just coming straight back onto the track after being forced into the runoff because gasly dodged alonso and bumped right into leclerc

      Actually, if you look at the overhead angle with both cars you’ll find that both Gasly and Charles moved resulting in the touch. It’s not a mistake that any one driver can own.

      Cannot call that excellent. He took his own wing off, Kimi's end plate off and Gasly out. There is nothing excellent about it. Sainz was my driver of the day. He did not put foot wrong and made up 6 or 7 places.

    Leclerc could probably be world champion fairly easily by a) moving to a proper F1 team and b) keeping his cool in qualifying. He's got the passion and the talent already.

    He really was the driver of the day imo. To start at p7, have to box for front wing damage at lap 2, fall to p18, then still finish p7 is crazy. I really hope I see Charles podium more frequently down the road, idk what more he needs but he is an insane talent.

      Is that people take results without context, for most of the new fans Norris has become the goat of F1 (not hating on the guy, he's a great driver, but just showing how people can analyze races and results) and Hamilton has become a joke of a driver. But I guess that's just how it goes with the sports

    If he would be more composed in the first lap of the race he would be the best driver on the grid. Already the best in Quali but he is a bit too aggressive in the opening stages of the race
