having the isolator, will the spare battery able to charge/jump start the main battery (if main goes low voltage)?

No. It allows both batteries to be charged from the alternator, but not the other way. If you want to jump the starter batter from the auxiliary battery, you need a battery switch to tie them together (one that has that function as not all of them do), or a set of jumper cables. You can make a short set of cables, but a regular set is more functional. I have seen someone have a single jumper cable with a large cable connector for the positive connection and both batteries are grounded to the same common ground, simply connect the pos cable and jump, then disconnect when not needed. The isolator is designed so your starter battery runs the vehicle, the charging system charges BOTH batteries, and your aux battery runs all your accessories. Your aux battery should be a deep cycle battery, or one designed with deep cycle properties as it can be discharged and recharged without damaging the battery

This isolator isn't listed on your site anymore. Is there a reason you discontinued carrying it?
