To fix the corn crib floors the quick but still somewhat temporary fix would be plywood. For a longterm fix i would look into poly wood planks for decks.
I’m with you on the Herefords being a lot easier to keep. The infatuation with Black Angus is pure marketing. The Angus association has taken their marketing to the “Genius” level !

@@Mad_Farmer912 yep was thinking plywood for a quick fix. Boards were good for air. Steel grating would be awesome
That's one reason I thought about the poly deck boards, they could be spaced with gaps for air to pass.
