I can relate, Dougo. I am a cpap wearer also. Changing cushions can make a big difference. I wear the resmed airtouch f20, the cushion with the foam. Been wearing cpap for 15 years. Bryan from Kansas
I’ve been following for years now and I still am a subscriber, fan. I must say I do like how you all fabricate a lot of things. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Put your back against the jamb, hinge side. If the door is on your left it is a left hand swing. On the right hand, it is a right hand swing door. If it swings into the building, it is an inswing. Your door is a left hand inswing.
The easiest way to check handedness of a door is to put your back to the hinge, and if it goes to the left, it's left. If it goes to the right, it's right! :)
Door swing: Stand with your back to the door on the hinge side of the door and if the hinges are on the left it is a left hand swing (like the one you were at when you were talking to Chet)
To figure out swing of a door. Put butt against hinges. With door open. Whichever side of you the door is that's the swing. So if you have butt against hinges and the door is on the left, it's a left-hand swing.
So this is for Doug. If you are out side of the door if you look at the door and if it swings left its a left hand door if it swing right its a right hand door. The door behind him at 11 27 in the video is a left hand door
That’s a right hand door Dougo. Place your back against the hinge side of the door and whichever hand you use to mimic the door swing would be the hand the door would be.
Tell Dougo he may want to look at nasal pillows. They come in different sizes and were a game changer for me. This farming job is a job for a good bean counter that's up on the latest rules.
I was an emergency gas tech in the 80's in Corpus Christi, Tx for the city! We were closely regulated by the Government and had to keep meticulous records for every bit of work completed. We recorded in logs the type of work, every single length of pipe and fitting that was used including Teflon tape and pipe dope. We recorded the location with gps and turned in the work notes every shift. They were reviewed by Government inspectors on a regular basis. I have witnessed entire homes destroyed by gas and even the fire department would not get close to a blowing gas leak. They called us and we hauled booty to get there asap. We did have emergency vehicle status just like cops and fire department.
"I hope it's a left hand door" Unless the video is mirrored... it sure doesn't look like one haha. Stand with your back to the hinge side of the jamb, facing the latch side. Whichever side the door swings to, that's the hand of the door. For all the commenters pouncing to correct me, yes, if you're ordering a door, you can have both left- and right-hand reverse swing doors, but that basically only effects where the seals, weatherstripping, and exterior finish of the door come. Closers aren't usually too bad once you've done about 6 or 7, make sure you get a good brand like LCN or Norton. If they keep failing get a closer made for a 48" wide door and lighten up the main tension according to the chart (I think it's 2 full turns on an LCN) and it should last a lot longer.
Y’all shoveling the mud while it was steaming after being in the shop made it look like it was warm manure.😂 Congrats to Brody on the progress Congrats to Eric on the land purchase Look forward to ‘25 videos
Chet, you can actually bury an LP tank if you want. They manufacture tanks for that. There is a special process and you use pea gravel and sand around the tank so it does not rust. Put landscaping around and over it, just a path to the lid for them to fill it and you don’t even know it is there.
You are correct Doug! Use the butt to butt method. You open the door, put your butt against the jamb with the (butt) hinges on it. raise your arms up and back. Whichever hand hits the door slab is your handing. in your case it is a left hand.
Stand with your back against the hinges side of the door if the door opens to the left of you it’s a left hand door and to the right of you it’s a right hand door do this with the door open and imagine the swing with your back to the hinges
Looks to be a right hand door. Take either forearm parallel to the floor and open out based on the hinge. Hinge on right shoulder opening out is right. Same for the left. 20+ years of woodworking and a few years of retail at a lumber store. Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Tech Ed
Dough put your back up to the hinge side of the frame and which ever side the hinges are on of the frame swing your left arm it's left hand if you swing your right arm then it's a right hand door.
It's a left-hand door .to fine out, put your back on the hinge side of the door and the door s🎉wings left in a left hand. If it swings right, it's a right-hand door
Found easier way to change bogey wheel oil without removing all caps, bought one of those larger air operated suction tanks, than run multiple small lines to idlers to suck out oil, worked awesome, way faster and less work.
Straddle the sill with your back to the hinges. If the door swings to your right, then it’s a right hand door. That door would be a right hand out swing.
hay Dougo to know the door swing put your butt against the hinges {the doors butts} swing your Arm whichever arm moves t o match the door swing is the door handing
Stand inside the door frame with your back against the frame with the hinges. Now open the door, does it swing with your right hand and to the outside? If so it’s, Right hand outside
Left or right hand door? Open the door. Stand with your back to the hinged side of the door jam. If the door is on your right, it is right hand door. Left is left of course.
Hey Chet, im looking at aftermarket concaves for our S780. I remember in one video you were comparing xpr vs thrashmaster. Which ones would you recommend?
I live on the western part of Nebraska. The highway I live on. I see tons of snowmobile trailers and pickup from Minnesota. Just wondering if there is people in that state left.
Erik. Congrats on the land purchase. Hope it is fruitful. Be safe and stay warm yall.
Chet keep up the great work and give Toby a hug
Thanks for sharing, Chet. You guys be careful in this weather. Be safe. Stay well. Victor
It was good seeing Toby
I can relate, Dougo. I am a cpap wearer also. Changing cushions can make a big difference. I wear the resmed airtouch f20, the cushion with the foam. Been wearing cpap for 15 years. Bryan from Kansas
Congrats to the Big Swede on the land purchase.
A big shout out to Brody for losing weight, 11 pounds is a great start. And to the Swed for the land purchase 👍
Happy New Year, thanks for sharing life on the farm with me and all of us.

I’ve been following for years now and I still am a subscriber, fan. I must say I do like how you all fabricate a lot of things. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Thanks for the video. Lots of projects in the shop. The new building is coming along nicely. Lots going on it seems.
Thanks.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve
I feel your pain with the CPAP mask Dougo, I've gotta do exactly the same. 👍
Yep, same here 😲
Next year the "Christmas photos" will take on a whole new meaning Chet for you and JeanMarie!
Put your back against the jamb, hinge side. If the door is on your left it is a left hand swing. On the right hand, it is a right hand swing door. If it swings into the building, it is an inswing. Your door is a left hand inswing.
thank you
& yea Toby is a good boy
Toby was just trying to say "what's going on?"
Nice to see Chet's new shop building almost done, soon a house will follow.
Chet, to help you with that mud, small square nosed shovel works the best.
The easiest way to check handedness of a door is to put your back to the hinge, and if it goes to the left, it's left. If it goes to the right, it's right! :)
I see the area of metal where Dougo hit the building is still there. You should have an artist paint a "Dougo was here" mural on the building.
Nice videos winter work on the farm. Always stuff to do. ❤
Door swing: Stand with your back to the door on the hinge side of the door and if the hinges are on the left it is a left hand swing (like the one you were at when you were talking to Chet)
Thank you, and Happy Holidays
Need longer vids at least once in awhile!! But i still watch every one! Keep up the good works Larson’s!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸🦅
Brody Looks Like A Dad.....lol so he fits the roll nicely
You guys are awesome. Stay warm. Thanks for the videos. Happy New Year
I love watching this in warm Thailand! Winter here too… 58 last night. Haha
Great to see Toby!
Dougo, time for a seed company to give you a hat with ear flaps. We call thsm Elmer Fudd hats! IFYKYK
To figure out swing of a door. Put butt against hinges. With door open. Whichever side of you the door is that's the swing. So if you have butt against hinges and the door is on the left, it's a left-hand swing.
Dougo stand with your back to the hinges. Raise the hand the way the door swings. That's the swing of your door. It works on new doors too.
Exactly correct. That is a right hand swing
I have tried to tell people this and it’s like I’m speaking Japanese I don’t get why it’s so hard but people just don’t get it.
I was just gonna comment the same thing lol!
Works Everytime dougo!
@@kevincarr9993it opens to the inside tho doesn't it? So it'd be left!
I feel ya Dougo. Remember half of what I knew and turn the other half upside down
Pull the quad up beside the pit so you can stand in the pit to change the outsides
Butt to the hing side of the jam if the door swings to your left it’s a left swing, if the swings to the right it’s a right swing
Been there and done that with the truck bumper!
Put your butt to the hinges-if it swings to the right it’s a right hand door-etc… Good work and Happy New Year, fellas!
Tell Dougo he may want to look at nasal pillows. They come in different sizes and were a game changer for me. This farming job is a job for a good bean counter that's up on the latest rules.
Yes Doug I do Know, I fight that CPAP every night. And Chet the background music was cool. The production guys are stepping up their game.
I know Dougo I use a c-pap as well
Awesome video guys. Thank you

It is always remarkable when a whole house blows up somewhere and the news calls it a "mysterious" explosion.
Happy New Year you guys!!!
Hi good afternoon Larson farms from Indiana
I replace door closer on the daily! Yes that a left hand swing! The are failing everywhere at an alarming rate! Those commercial ones are not cheap
"I hope it's a left hand door"
Unless the video is mirrored... it sure doesn't look like one haha. Stand with your back to the hinge side of the jamb, facing the latch side. Exactly. No need to confuse it with left hand reverse. Your comment is spot on. Especially with the closure brands.
I like your bogie drain system…..
They’re proof that innovation drives agricultural success
Y’all shoveling the mud while it was steaming after being in the shop made it look like it was warm manure.😂
Congrats to Brody on the progress
Congrats to Eric on the land purchase
Look forward to ‘25 videos
Happy New Year Larson farm's
Dougo I sleep good for the first 4 or 6 hours and I'm done.lucky to get past 330am.
❤ from Norway
I have used a cpap unit for over twenty years.

I liked the longer videos too. 30-45 mins. All you need is the snirt guys for your doors also
Chet's face as his new editors sensationalize the branding of what was a super authentic channel.
Same editors he has had since his wife died
They also do Welker Farms
Just a thought. Couldn’t you park the quad next to the pit to do the outside? Then when one sides done turn it around and do the other side.
At 1:58 who poked the wall?
You are correct Doug! Use the butt to butt method. You open the door, put your butt against the jamb with the (butt) hinges on it. raise your arms up and back. Whichever hand hits the door slab is your handing. in your case it is a left hand.
Dougo try a nasal pillow it help with cpap a lot I had a mask an went the nasal pillow and now use mine every night
At least you are posting unlike some people in Iowa.
Christmas Vacation. Give em a break.
@@bhain40 Christmas is in December, not January. hahaha.
Put your back to the door on the swing side and if the door swings out to the left is it a left swing door and vise versa for a right swing.
Great video!!
Dougo, when it's 5 degrees ,stocking cap and hooded sweat
shirt !
Do the bogie wheel/oil recommendations apply to deere quads as well? Or what do you do on them
You should straighten the brackets, then straighten the bumper separately. It gives you much more control over what you’re doing.
Douglas from my experience left hand door means you use your left hand to open it
put your back to the hinge's if the door swings to the right then its right hand same for the left.
Eric was just asking for a raise,Chet👍👍👍
A port o power works great to straitjrin bumpers finders or anything on a truck
Love it
Stand with your back against the hinges side of the door if the door opens to the left of you it’s a left hand door and to the right of you it’s a right hand door do this with the door open and imagine the swing with your back to the hinges
Stocking hats!!!
Dough put your back up to the hinge side of the frame and which ever side the hinges are on of the frame swing your left arm it's left hand if you swing your right arm then it's a right hand door.
Stand in the door way and look at the door latch which ever arm swings with the door is what kinda swing your door is.
It's a left-hand door .to fine out, put your back on the hinge side of the door and the door s🎉wings left in a left hand. If it swings right, it's a right-hand door
Chet’s been watching too many Cleetus Macfarland body work videos using forklifts!😂😂
use the side shift of the fork left behind the bumper
Yeah Dougo, I'm one who knows. And have for over 10 years. What a pain.
Dougo, look into buying a sleep number bed. It has a snore mode, so you could hopefully get rid of your Capp machine
Question Is Replacing any hose on any tractor a "fun" project?
Love the videos

The layer of blubber on Toby, he's well able for the temperature.
Stand inside the door frame with your back against the frame with the hinges. Now open the door, does it swing with your right hand and to the outside? If so it’s, Right hand outside
Dougo, back to the door on the exposed hinge side, if hinge is on your right then it’s a right hand door
We put corn head grease in all of them pack them right full never had no problem and it's a whole lot easier than oil
Watching and reposted 👍🏻

We put 1/2’ steel plates behind our truck bumpers so the wild life or snow drifts can’t wreak them as easy.
Yes it is a left hand. Or as the door guys will say right hand reverse.
Left or right hand door? Open the door. Stand with your back to the hinged side of the door jam. If the door is on your right, it is right hand door. Left is left of course.
