    Great video!
No contraction breathhold training really helped me reach a 3 min breathhold.
But now I’m working on expanding my comfort zone and getting it closer to my pb so what you said at the very end made a lot of sense to me. I’m also trying to control my contractions a bit since I was able to push them back but when they do come they are quite strong. Any specific tips to control them?

Thanks for your much detailed lecture. I gonna try these CO2 resistance training and hypo-O2 training. When doing CO2 tolerance training, should I do with full or half of packing?? For both training, how many times do you repeat one breath-hold and one ventilation? I wanna take home.

You mentioned "reverse packed" exhale breath-holds as a method to induce hypoxia. In this case, is there a physiological reason why we shouldn't include hyperventilation to increase the risk of blacking out more easily? I've heard that even though oxygen is present in our body during hyperventilation, it may not be efficiently utilized by our brain. Is this information accurate, or does it actually make sense to engage in (slightly) over-breathing in this scenario to approach blackout more quickly?

Nope. Stig does pre-oxygenated static apnea. Nothing to do with this. The actual world record in static apnea without oxygen assistance is 11min35 by Stephane Mifsud.

you were 1 second away from breaking the AIDA 2020 Record, how are these attempts not further recognized or reported? D: I started last year and after two weeks got to 4 minutes doing 1 hour everyday and until yesterday i could not practice anymore for lack of time, and got up to 2 minutes 50 seconds, I'm looking into getting a stopwatch that works underwater because so far I just count it in my head which i know it's a BAAAAD practice but loved watching your video and hopefully i'll find a better way of practicing :D

I have a question! I'm new to this, but I think somewhere in this video you mentioned holding on empty lung? Or did I mistake what you meant? If so should I be training on both full lung and empty lung? How do I know when do to each?

Such a joy watching that goggles fling 🤣 I have a question, like you I tried to control my contraction to go softer, but when doing this my face starts to shake, and I feel not relaxed at all at my face, as if it's shivering cold, the face only. Do you get this? And what is your advice about the face?
My PB was 5:00 but that was long time ago in 2013, now I generally consider my pb about 4:15 and I did it usually no warm up or max 1 warm up.

    • @Mr10minutes

Oximeter on finger show 30ish % but it’s irrelevant because that’s this oxygen in blood. You have to measure pp02 in brain with NIRS machine which I never done yet

Sorry for my opinion, but I think you're breaking rule #1 in apnea, which is safety... You should never train alone... Even if it's in shallow water...
