now that's what I would call clickbaite!!!!! I thought you would be bowling with 50 pound pins and that's what I tuned in for....only to find out they are 5 pound pins x10......booooom
TJ throws a beauty of a ball. Hope to see him on the tour in the future. Lanes looked tough too, what pattern was this? Dunno if I've ever seen Pack so lost haha
Packy… You give us all hope and a smile when you bowl like that! Thank you for that! Love the content… even when you bowl like the pro you are! Not only are your videos fun, but you always display a great amount of humility, which is important to see!
IIRC, back in the 60s, 70s, and maybe the 80s, when the tour came to town they brought 3 lb 10oz pins with them. Most centers at the time we’re using 3-6 and 3-8 wood. 3 lb 10oz was tough in the days of rubber, plastic, and early urethane balls.
I suppose there's no way to get them anymore but I'd love to see those Amflite Tournament Edition pins that were 3lbs. 2oz. from back in the early 80s. We had a full set and could only use them during non-sanctioned stuff after the '84 rule change. Holy crap did those things fly around!
The comeback kid I like it! The southpaw slugger, out of lefty field but I wouldn't know how to describe you lol tough match but TJ did have the advantage, im wondering if something like the new hellcat would work better I guess with its strong hitting power. This also really was a great representation of one vs two handed
I've bowled 5 lb pins. Dead flush is dead flush. But ya it exposes all those bad rolling strikes you get with normal pins. It's actually about like throwing plastic as far as needing to make sure your release is clean in order to carry. Any weak roll and your ball bounces off the pins. Fun video.
Rock, Paper, Scissosrs. Guess Packy played Scissors in this match crushed by the Rock. Packy is one smart dude. He commonly makes his guests feel happy and welcome to his channel so future guests want to appear. Thanks guys for the fun and entertaining video!
Now let's try it with a 50lb bowling ball instead! It would also be super fun to swap all the pins for these heavier ones at a national event and tell nobody and watch mayhem ensue lol
Always bringing something new! Also are heavier pins something that one day could be the norm if ball coverstocks and cores become so good. Or will more and more oil keep being added?
Awesome video once more! Which balls did you guys use? One of them looked like Pitch Blue and other one looked like Dark Code. Edit: Oh! TJ is using WEB. OK. 😅 Edit 2: And a Radical ball. OK. 👍
I bowled the 5 lb pins at Western Bowl in Cincinnati during the Hoinke Tournament and almost left a 5-7-10, but thankfully my ball slowly rolled over the 7 pin spot 😂
Oh yeah bowled on the lead pins many times there at Western Bowl the most I could ever mustard was five in a row but used to love bowling the Skins games too during the Super.
@@TheHouseBowling lol I meant straight in the gutter but made for a fun video. In candlepin, it's standard for a pin to be _heavier than the ball_ - 2 pounds 8 ounces is the weight of each pin, with balls between 2 pounds 4 ounces and 2 pounds 7 ounces.
I thought i heard they are getting rid of 16 lbs in USBC i could be wrong. I have always debated since im 2 handed going up just for fun but thought i heard somewhere it would be illegal soon.
I also noticed that the young mans shots which were disapointing to see that they didn't carry enough. If it weren't for the lack of carry I believe that those shots would of been strikes. these lanes today their so dry sometimes that it will turn on a dime --- if you give it an inch it will take a mile. But it is always Carry First: then hook just right near the pocket: any pocket as so long as it hooks because than it will always strike if it hooks aT THE END OF THE SHOT. BUT CARRY FIRST --- THEN HOOK. Sorry about large caps it was strictly unintentional.
Hey Packy: that Ball where you left the 4-7-10 pin: I really appreciated how you went so far left, and I think that that shot was well executed even though you missed the 4 and the unfortunate 10 pin. It was well executed though, and so i consider that a very good shot because you came so close to converting the 7-4-10 split. I almost was clapping, but I dealt with it and just in my mind it was successful shot anyway even though the ball refused to go back far-enough right just to hit the 4 pin converting the shot. good going Packy.

Where did you get the 5lb pins?

Two-handed bowling is a joke and should be illegal.

I started out a game with a gutter ball and still shot a 279.
Baited tf outta us making us think each pin 50lb😭😭
Law of physics. Your chance of knocking down the pins greatly increases when you actually make contact with said pins.
Agreed! 😂
I already loved TJ before the video lmao. He’s the best.
Nice guy and even better bowler!
I bet he’s hysterical to hang out with. Keep doing your thing pac, big season ahead, looking forward to seeing all the house on tv.
Apparently heavier pins cause you to miss the pocket 😂
Or the lane…got scared 😂😂
More TJ please. He was fun!

The definition of a lack of pin action....awesome vid!
I appreciate the shots of pin action from camera 'B'. Glad 'The Rock' didn't kick the tripod 😎
Also glad he didn't kick it down lol!
At least you had an excuse for that game. I bowled a 126 first game in My league yesterday, then turned it around with a 219 and a 178.

@@TheHouseBowling I would hope not I haven’t quite perfected the current ones.
That would deter the younger and elderly bowlers away from the sport who need to use lighter balls.
@@AussiePillow1 very true I didn’t think about that.

You should do 50lb per pin
How did your balls handle the heavy pins? mainly asking TJ since he hit them lol but did you guys see much ball damage? or was everything fine?
I like the fact of him throwing up the gutter and the ball either gutters or doesn’t move and he stays there.
Packy as a fellow lefty love seeing the content bro. Keep it up
You should do light pins
One day packy we gotta do The House vs The Squad that seems like a great title for both our channels
When I read the title I thought it meant that every pin would be 50 lbs
I always feel like I am not good enough to bowl against a pro. But Packy, you sure give me loads of hope and confidence that I could do it.
Is it because I bowl terrible like this sometimes hahah!
Gotta grab the 20lb ball now

Probably the same reason I did. The sentence structure in the title isn't sufficiently clear enough to not be slightly ambiguous.
