It's pretty okay. I've known Barry Asher all my life and Mark Baker for at least 10 years. Barry runs the pro shop of my house and he and my dad were friends. He's drilled every ball I've ever had. I bowled with Mark's son Gage in saturday morning league as a kid and Mark's given me plenty of tips too
Everytime I ask my local lane to shut down so I can bowl splits on each lane they hang up on me. So cool you are able to do these things. Love your videos. Laying here recovering after back surgery loving your videos.
I have asked my bowling center if I could pay them to put fresh oil or a different pattern on a pair and they told me no way. If I was a pro maybe they would lol.
My alley put down fresh oil yesterday on two lanes and didn't let anyone use it all day. I finally got to throw my black widow urethane. Two days ago, the lanes we so burnt up that I had to throw plastic to hook into the pocket. I kept throwing Brooklyn's with my storm mix. My black widow was consistent, 7 pin every throw.
Havent bowled in years, but made this twice in youth bowling by throwing slow and shooting just at the 10 and sliding 6 over. Always great to see you 2 together
You gave us attempts! We appreciate it. It keeps me on the edge of my seat watching to see if it converts. The near conversions gets me heated with hope. Not disappointed though cuz they all look great.
There are many accomplished bowlers who will never convert the 7-10 or the Big 4. I think I've covered the Greek Church a couple times, but never the other two in 40 years of (amateur) bowling. I do really like the content on this channel, keep it up guys!
7/10 once and greek church once. Although I only bowled for about 6 years then had to quit for wrist issues. Making the 7-10 is one of my best memories from bowling. GC was a total fluke.
I've picked this split up 4-5 times. Every time I throw it medium speed, with hi revs, and slide the 6 between the 4 and 7. They both fall in different directions. It may sound crazy but it works for me haha. Love y'all's content!!!!
This challenge, especially the success rate, reminds me of when several of kids in the Nutmeg Bowl Junior league tried to deliberately leave the 7-10 or some other large split. They kept throwing hard and straight at the head pin and getting strikes.
I say do a part two and do another 46 until Mitch makes one, love watching the attempts and hey if Kevin McCube wants to shoot at it bring him out. EJ and Osku have fast spare shots as well.
Never made the Big four or 7 10. I did convert a sort of big 4 once it was the 4-6-7-9. have converted the 4-6. These videos are fun to watch. Congratulations on the Doubles victory!
The 4 consecutive chops was worth watching the whole video for. I have converted the 7-10, 7 times, and the big 4 only once. It is the hardest split to pick up.
No doubt when you see Walter Ray and ask him..."How do you get the BIG 4?" He'll happily say "Beats the S@#!! out of me!!" LOL Chris Barnes Barnes had a good tip....maybe those pins weren't heavy enough to bounce over there?
Heres one for Mitch the human bowling ball cannon. 4-7-10 the hard way. go for the 10. I think he gets it in the first 8 shots. Love all your vids and all the guys on the channel. All of you had a bit to do with me going back to bowling after 20ish years. Also a spinal cord injury that was pretty severe, Enough that I had to re-learn everything starting with sitting up and increasing the DD from there. When I tried bowling it was immediately clear that any prior skill, muscle memory or familiarity I may have had is gone. I may know how to bowl, or teach someone else to bowl, and I've bowled a ton, I remember doing it. But the me below the neck, the nerves and all that, everything on the other side of my injury had never ever bowled a shot. I mean never. I was 100% newb down there. The first couple months were really difficult, I had to dial it back to standing at the line and swing, release. Day one type drills, but thats where my ability was at the time. I felt like a child, except I've seen kids bowl, and I'm not nearly that good, if I ever was! The best part in all of it is just how much I'm enjoying everything. FF to today, I'm 7 months in and I'm just having a blast! I go for 2hrs twice a week, work on what need it for an hour then just bowl for another. It was a rough start but I can't even believe the progress I made. I just joined a sport shot summer league a couple weeks ago and picked up a black widow 2.0 solid yesterday. (IT BEGINS!) I think I enjoy bowling now far more than I ever did. I just wondered if I could do it, and its all just for fun, but I get more back than i ever did. Theres more meaning and purpose in my fun, its just more satisfying I guess. so thanks to everyone on the channel , on screen or behind the scenes. If I had not enjoyed your vids it would never have occurred to me to try bowling again. But I did and I'm having the time of my life! Thanks!
Such an enjoyable video. I like hearing the different strategies for shooting this. I have been fortunate enough to make this 3 times now. Two of those were last season on my Tuesday night league. I am a right handed bowler and I threw hard and straight at the 4-7 and try and get something to bounce out of the back to knock the 10 into the 6. Fun to watch!
I find like Mitchs 2nd last attempt kicking the 6 or 4 into the other pin you get some funky bounces with speed, i made it that way by just shear brute force hitting the 6 into the 10 and the 6 just exploded back
I've picked this up 1 time. Right hander with thumb. Threw it 22mph at the 4 pin. Hit it thin, 4 pin bounces off the wall, its the 7 then splits the 6 10 and sweeps them. I'll never forget it!
You two should do the various splits videos as a competition. Either reset each lane so you both get a go on it or pick a side of the pairs and only shoot half the center each.
I am NOT a good bowler...175 average but picked this spare up in the 10th frame of an 'important' league game this year. Just threw it hard (for me about 17 mph) at the 10 and cut the 6 into the other pins. A blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut!
I got my first big 4 back in Jan. As a righty I stood way left and lofted my hy-road at the outside of the 10 with just a touch of rotation. It clipped the 6 enough to catch the front of the 7 and slid forward to trip the 4. I was in disbelief when the 4 fell!
The way i tackle them, i try to go about a board more right on the 4 pin, so it had time to ricochet off the 7 and get nore airborne before the ball smacks it again in the pit to shoot it right. I would say ive probably picked it up a dozen times now.
Hey guys that is a very very difficult split to cover. When I was bowling regularly years ago I made the 6710 but I never got the Big 4. I have also converted 2 7-10 splits. That was at the old fireside Lanes in Wichita which is way before your time. Now that house was known as having a very lively deck and more 7-10 split square made at that house then any other house in Wichita. Now I have never come close to either one of those conversions at Northrock.
Bowled there quite a few times. My first adult league was there and it was one of the houses WSU could bowl at free if you tried out for the team and paid for their practice program with houses in the city
Totally bring McCune out for this challenge. Would love to see that
McCune vs Osku would insane
@@mixmasterfestus8096 poor pins
But please both, daddy vs. son! That would be insane!!!
Osku, Kevin and Eugene maybe even Robert Smith
Mitch nice try happy to see you try
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE video. I love when Mitch shoots crazy hard spairs across the entire house. Please do more.
This was worth the watch just to see Mitch chop the 4 4 times in a row 😂😂
“My contact list doesn’t run deep with legends”, literally got Walter Ray’s voicemail and talked to Chris Barnes 😂😂😂 already quite deep Pack
It's pretty okay. I've known Barry Asher all my life and Mark Baker for at least 10 years. Barry runs the pro shop of my house and he and my dad were friends. He's drilled every ball I've ever had. Just because you want to brag doesn't mean the original comment was wrong. It just made you look kinda shallow, honestly. @@B_Squar3d
The amount of knowledge Barnes has for bowling is almost unhealthy 😂😂😂
Man has a PHD in bowling basically
@@Johnny2Gats His son Ryan does too, I've talked with him before and he helped me out with a few things
@@NateCraven318 Dude is son of a legend. Bowling runs through his veins. Hell, he probably was procreated at a bowling alley
One of if not the smartest in the game!

I have asked my bowling center if I could pay them to put fresh oil or a different pattern on a pair and they told me no way. If I was a pro maybe they would lol.
@Brandon Benke my lane has done fresh oil for us in Newton but not closed down for us to shoot spares
@@nkxzombietrix1897 50 Lane house and cash only? If so, I'm pretty sure I know the place.
You can do splits on each shot if your alley has GSX setters and sync scoring on the game called my shot
I absolutely love these spare/split vids you’ve done with Mitch and Frankie. Please keep these coming!
great vid, love the Barnes involvement... great awesome, see u soon .
Totally bring McCune out for this challenge. Would love to see that and the 7-10 split to
Breaking pins up in there, haha
Loving these split challenges. Would be nice to see both you go head to head though
Same here. Just a question of whether or not they should reset the lanes or just do half the center each.
Packy ain’t ever throwing the ball hard enough to match Mitch in split pickup love ye Pack😂😂
Yes, I had a blast watching 👍🏽
Glad we did a good job of entertaining you!😁
4:51 “I could also get zero.”
My guy, you do this for a living. That part is literally your job. 😂
you GOTTA get Kevin McCune out for this!
Need it!

Love this format. The 7 10 video was the video that got me into bowling youtube. Sparkle t zone for the win.
FINALLY!!!! BIG 4 CHALLENGE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳
Mitch is amazing. Love these videos, they're some of my favorite on your channel!
I am not disappointed. I did witness the 7-10 conversion!
Been waiting forever for a Big 4 challenge, good luck. Love you packy❤
that was awesome - you need a Mitch Hupe for the people shirt
This video needs to get CONTINUED
CONTINUE THIS VIDEO HNTIL HE MAKES ONE
Might need to by the sound of it 😂
North rock has some serious bounce potential. Every time you throw a ball at something in this house you have a shot at making everything!
In Wichita? I had my first 279 in league play there when I was 18. Loved that house
@@joeg6819 yes in Wichita. I only bowled there a few times but that house has great carry.

Mitch is back!!!!!!! Woooo
If anything Mitch. Converting the 7-10 at 3:07-3:08 was pretty dope!
THESE ARE MY FAVORITE! More more more lol :D
Even though he didn’t make it, you definitely proved the point that the big four is the hardest spare to pick up.👏🏾👏🏾
Hopefully Mitch will keep being in videos. The ones both of you are in are always good!
You know 1 thing I'm happy about in life!!!?? Is being at the game Walter Ray Williams hit the big 4!!!! Seeing history in person is awesome!!!!!
I was so let down I have to tell ya. Now my weekend is ruined!!! I hope you're happy. 🤣🤣🤣 Awesome vid guys
Shooot sorry about that next time we will get a killer one out there!
I've only made the big 4 once in my life. Good video. Enjoyed it!
We love Mitch! (and you too, Pachy)
Thanks Clay!
I’ve been waiting for this for soooooooo long. Hope everything is well😁
Sometimes also the bowling alley makes the difference. In some alleys the pins bounce out more than in others.
There are many accomplished bowlers who will never convert the 7-10 or the Big 4. I think I've covered the Greek Church a couple times, but never the other two in 40 years of (amateur) bowling. I do really like the content on this channel, keep it up guys!
To be fair as well depending on ur bowling style and luck u may get the chance 1/2 or 2/3 as someone who leaves it more often
7/10 once and greek church once. Although I only bowled for about 6 years then had to quit for wrist issues. Making the 7-10 is one of my best memories from bowling. GC was a total fluke.
12:04 I felt it was close!
I was there for Walter Ray's! Greater Atlanta Classic at Brunswick Zone Norcross.
That second last attempt made me pucker up 😂 I felt the pain
Would love to see Kevin in the video, also I wasn't disappointed, got to see three straight chops and a 7 10 pickup, those take alot of skill also

Yea chris is awesome!!
My buddy jaxson. Hit the big 4 twice in a row a few leagues nights ago.. purely luck. But I saw it first hand.
Whaaaaat!!
I grew up knowing the Big 4 as double pinochle.

Nice try on the big 4! I remember seeing Lance pick this up on Darren's channel, didn't realize how low the odds were 💀
Yeah having Kevin McCune do this would be amazing.
Yes, we want Not Eugene to do this, the Greek Church, and the 7/10 challenge!

I figured you guys would use the strategy from the 7-10 video. Shoot the 7 pin side on the left lanes and 10 pin side on the right lanes. Oh, and W.
Picked this one up a couple months ago sliding the 6. I celebrated like I just won the Super Bowl 😂

That's the strategy I would have tried - but it's just so damned hard to cut the 6 over!
Do a challenge with the 3-10 or pro washout and see how many times you can go through it and show us “what not to do”
Cool tech bowling bowling the house bowling packy
You should make a video of how many chops you can get across all the lanes in that house with multi pin spares. 😁
we need a part 2
Would love to see McCune in any of your videos!
