If you’re ever in the central Kentucky area, I got you on the golf lessons. I play off a +4.5 with a season average of 67.5, and won player of the year this year on the North American Golf Tour. I’m also a high school golf coach!
when i played on a league the bowling alley had wood lanes, i had only ever bowled on wood lanes, until my first tournament the lanes were synthetic. it was super weird.

Hey packy, what do lanes do u like more. Wood or synthetic lanes? P.S my house has wood lanes and the oil pattern im bowlin on there is actually pretty tough. A thin sheet of oil in the middle and the gutters SOAKED with oil. Im only able to use urethane for 1 game then I have to switch to reactive. Honestly sucks bc my urethane is my best ball in my arsenal.
So were these new wood lanes they put down or is it the old ones resurfaced? Either way pretty cool, that place is like a time capsule for bowling and I love it. If im ever in the area definitely worth a visit

To make the shot truly vintage, the oil should be put on the lanes by hand, no machines. Not only is each lane different because of the wood, they don’t exactly match on oil pattern either. Packy should bowl one handed, no one ever bowled two handed (except between the legs) on wood lanes.
