Some ideas for next time. Adding thumb tape to the outside, switching finger grips to a different size, moving a finger hole or thumb hole slightly (1/8" or so), adding or plugging holes (give a thumb hole to a 2 handed ball or plug a thumb hole).
Make ridges on the surface using plug material?
Mirror their layout on multiple sides of the ball so it has multiple functional ways to hold it.
Soak someone’s ball in lane oil to saturate the coverstock, then sand it to a respectable finish.
Or…do both
run it back but give more time (like a day or 2) to drill/plug holes, change ball layouts, wrong sized grips

You should reverse what you did. Sand the ball with a 280 grit pad and add random polish spots. 🤔🤣🤣

I think I would've messed with the grips.
Its phasing and it happens when a ball is sat in one spot for a long time couple that with temperature change and you got a funky Pro-motion. No idea why the PM does it more than every other ball but it has to do with the coverstock being Spec

How about 0.25 inch zebra stripes of polish and surface around the ball? Kind of along the lines of the spots idea, but different.
Chris should have used screen on 1/4 of mikeys ball just on the track
Nice, I thought of the hyperpolished ball too. Can you make one with like 4k fast but with a even finer pad and 3 minutes of polish on top? Would like to see that!

Best way to sabotage Mikey's ball is just make it purple. ;P

Make golf balls out of the bowling balls! Set on drill press and touch with the tip of the drill all over the whole thing 😮
i also thing the spots don’t effect it enough, stripes might have don’t more??
I would have gone 80 grit on either the first few flare rings or the last few and polished the others
Add weight hole, put fishing weight inside then plug the hole back
Throw it on the spinner and take the super polished ball down to 180 grit, on one half.
god you needed to put that thing at 20k grit, slip agent with a lot of polish lol
Or, drill a new ball with a layout that places the core in an extremely odd location
I was hoping it was gonna be like random holes in the ball tiny ass grips take parts of the core out
Should of did two different grits. One on each side of the ball
should have put an x stripe adjacent but slightly off of the track or crossed it, maven like a flag kinda?? the flat spot was good..

should have done half the ball in high polish and half the ball sanded to 100 grit

When will bowlers admit that the ball thing is just bs. I mean sure... There are different kinds of balls but it's more the bowler vs the lane.
To add salt, packys recent video of his old ball vs his new and it was borderline embarrassing. He kept saying he was going to do this for this reaction and then the opposite happened
