- To help you learn how to winterize your Northern Lite 10-2 truck camper, we have put together this video that walks you through all of the steps. Winterizing your camper is an easy and quick process but extremely important and can be expensive if done incorrectly!

Reading the manual and having this video is so helpful, thank you. for the first time in 3 years I'll have to winterize my 10-2 because I wont be full timing in my camper any longer. Its getting quite cold here in the black hills of South Dakota and soon temps will be -20 degrees F. It does get as cold as -30*F with 60 MPH winds. So I hope the AF doesn't freeze......yikes...
Thanks so much for sharing, I have a 2020 10.2 LE in New Jersey and now i'm all ready to winterize!
Warren, how much RV antifreeze does one need for this camper, like one jug of say 3.89L should do the trick? Or a 9.46L? 🍻
Now we just need a de-winterize video for us newbies!
There is one!

Thank you for the video.
Could you please clarify whether hot and cold low points are to be closed or open for winterizing? You say open but the video shows closed. Newbie question.
Once everything is drained, you then close so that the antifreeze doesn't flow out.
Thanks. I found it in the manual as well. Another step I missed was to shutoff the water line from the holding tank. I couldn't get the pump to suck up the antifreeze without closing that valve. Your video was very helpful.
Do the Northern Lite support blasting water out of the lines with an air compressor, leaving antifreeze for only the drains?
Some owners use air.
Thanks for the video. So no need for putting antifreeze in the fresh holding tank, nor the grey/black?
Also, when flushing the antifreeze out, should one fill the fresh tank an use that, or hook up city water? or Both, for that matter.... :)
Thanks!
All of the water is dumped out of the tanks so no need to add AF to the tanks... BUT one thing the video missed is to add some AF into each of the drains. You can flush with either city water or from the fresh tank.
@@NorthernLiteTruckCampers Great! Thanks! I have a 10-2 LE ordered and am super excited to get it!!!!
