I really like these rigs. Do to a traumatic personal crisis, I had to sell my wonderful Pleasure Way wide body sprinter camper last summer so one thing I hope you don't have a problem with is the power awning. PW uses the Fiama powered awning which has no angled support at all and is so sensitive to the slightest puff of wind it's almost useless. On top of that, we had a very upsetting issue with the power winch failing which caused the awning to deploy on it's own. We were lucky enough to discover this before leaving a campground and I was able to borrow a ladder to lash it securely to avoid a potentially terrible accident. Fiama ended up initiating a recall and sending an improved winch and that seemed to solve the problem but I/we only took one other camping trip before fate intervened and I ended up selling it. Point is-I hope your power awning serves you well as it seems like the awnings I saw a many Airstreams looked about as fail safe and secure as could be.
Nice rig! We have a 2022 10-2 Limited Edition Dry Bath with generator ordered that’s supposed to be delivered in December. Ours will have the standard wood interior and a u-shaped dinette. Thanks so much for sharing this video!
We just bought a 2023, dry bath, generator, u-shape bath, learning the camper, sitting on a dually, can't see using single wheels to haul this camper but some do.
wow, nice, Northern Light in my opinion is the best, two piece construction, less water leakage. that is really roomy. and i love the dry bath, unfortunately i don't have the cash or truck at this time or you would definately have a sale. thank you for the tour. working on getting one in the next two years
Thank you sir for showing us your camper, just bought a 2021 chevy Silverado dually flatbed so I'm halfway there, I'm now looking for a northern lite 10-2 Limited edition And hopefully I'll be another happy camper
Thank you! She has been out of commission for a while but we recently put some work into her and she will be back on the road soon. Hoping to make a video ASAP!
Wow real nice. I want one. Couple of questions 1. Do you need a long bed truck? 2 how much was it? 3 how is the ac getting power? Generator? Sorry if I missed it but I wanted to know. Thank you
I like this camper, torn between one like this and a Lance 975. Hmmmmm, HELP! I'm not a fan of slides and I'm going to sell my 2005, 981 when I buy. Thanks for sharing. They need to go tankless.
Honestly, the quality of the NL can’t be beat. I would/did sacrifice the extra space for the better materials they use and better resale as well. Let us know what you get!
@@scallywag6768 I'm 65 in poor heath. I do think the Northern lite is a good camper although I never owned one. I'm not sure I will buy another camper. 75 grand for a 10.2 dry bath fully loaded. I have to draw a line in the sand somewhere. Thanks for the advice though.
Thank you for the comment, Lori! It takes some time to get used to the size but it’s amazing how much usable space is in a camper that fits in the bed of your truck!
I would say whatever fits your need. I bought this combo so I could drop the camper at our house and drive the truck on a daily basis. Don’t really want to drive a camper van everyday.
If it was possible I would make the dining area like 5 inches shorter & give that 5 inch to the bathroom Make the shower alittle bigger & move the toilet further away from the shower Maybe I'll even give 10 more inches to the bathroom The dining table & seating would just be smaller, no big deal 🤣🤭 A nice comfortable bathroom is more important to me IMHO 🤔
Do you feel like it is flimsey in any way ?? being it two shells placed together in the middle without any framing does it seem to wobble around when you are driving ?
None whatsoever. This was a super solid rig. We bought a NL for their reputation on quality and they lived up to every bit of it. Would buy one again, when the time is right.
Thank you. We had a 2021 F350 SRW with the PowerStroke. I have since sold the truck, camper is also for sale. Life changes, NOT due to the fact that it was an awesome combo!
No dually. Definitely regret not getting one but the truck was also my daily driver so I didn’t want something that wide. Need a dedicated tow rig for sure.
Do you haul your camper with a SRW or DRW 1-ton truck? If it is a SRW, do you find it more than capable of hauling your Northern Lite 10-2? Thanks for the video. Very nice Camper. I've been considering a 10-2 myself.

Very nice. We have a wolf creek 840 short box. If I was to upgrade I think northern lite 10-2 is amazing. Safe travels. Beautiful old Ford too.
Both the Ford and the Northern Lite are industriously built. I’m a sucker for the attention to detail in the 10-2, it’s truly amazing!
Great presentation! Thank you for showing how it looks blacked out at the end nobody ever does that
Nice! Now, I want to go get one.
This one is FOR SALE!
@@MyCarGuyChris still got it?

Congratulations on your order! They are awesome. Not the right fit for our growing family right now but I would buy one again in an instant.

I would definitely prefer to have this then my 27ft trailer….if only truck campers wouldn’t be so bloody expensive

Thank you, David! They sure are nice. The quality is top-notch!
Really nice video review. Bathroom is a great design. Thanks for posting.
I think I found my camper ty for the tour. can't believe all of this in a truck camper
It’s amazing how much they get in there! Awesome build quality, too!

I regret not getting a dually for this setup. It’s a MUST! Unless you like to feel too heavy while loaded up 💩
Nice camper! Does it have an external propane line to connect a blackstone or grill?
Great in depth video man, keep up the good work!
Thanks so much!
i may have missed ,,,,great video!! is this a long box dually only camper ?
This is the 10-2. On a long box SRW. Definitely recommend a dually for these campers, no question.
Love love the Old Ford Truck

1. Do you need a long bed truck?
2 how much was it?
3 how is the ac getting power? Generator? Sorry if I missed it but I wanted to know.

Howdy!
Yes, the 10-2 only fits in a long bed. Roughly $56k. A/C power comes from a generator or shore power.

Do yourself a favour and get the Northern Lite. Then you will never have to buy another. Slides are a weak point and add weight.

Have you had any delaminating issues on the passenger side by the propane tanks?
I luv this camper. U would not want 2 sneeze 4 sure would bean urself. I would definitely use this. Interesting.

Hi great review, question what size truck 350 or 250 ford or chevy gas or diesel?
Thanks
Anything heavy duty should work just fine. Diesel is my preference. Only other thing I’ll suggest is to get a dually to handle the load!
Does the pack and play fit in the walkway?
Unfortunately no. We used the dinette area which worked well but you will need to secure it with some anchors.
What is physical size of batteries and how many pounds propane tanks ?
ps , that is a great camper !
In your opinion, why a truck camper is better than van camper ?
I would say whatever fits your need. I bought this combo so I could drop the camper at our house and drive the truck on a daily basis. Don’t really want to drive a camper van everyday.
Hi, is there any way an adult could fit through the window into the rear truck cab?
Negative. The window doesn’t open, not a pass through.
Do you know how tall it is when its loaded in your truck. Thanks
On my 2006 F350 4x4 SC SRW the top of the AC unit is 12 feet off the floor.
thanks for the tour

NO SLIDE OUTS, NO LEAKS, NO HEADACHES.
Mines got a slide, love it, no leaks, no problems at all. Adds a ton of extra room.

Great question. The F350 is SRW which was a mistake. Get a dually to compensate for the added weight and body roll.
👍
