Skillet is by far the most underrated rock band of all time, love when you get the songs with drummer Jen ledger singing backups
Absolutely! Jen and John's vocal mix is magic. And, wow, can that girl sing! Here's a little treat if you haven't run across it already. Jen sining 'My Arms' from her solo project, at home on the couch w/ acoustic guitar backing. Incredible. Goose-bumps, chills, LOL. :)

Skillet awake and alive is IMO ther best song,Skillet are AWESOME.
I respectfully disagree...the album Collide was one of their best heavy albums....and Rise was their best softer commercial friendly album....I haven't really went through their newer albums, though.
@@ProducerJames91Dude I always feel like I'm alone when I say that Collide was their absolute peak... I don't like Rise at all and I gave it an oportunity.
Anyways, Comatose and Awake are still good albums

20 years strong. 11albums. Numerous side projects. WWE tie ins. Skillet is always working. Rise is debatably their best album. Hoping you will react to Sick Of It next. A message everyone needs to hear.
They are one of the top Christian metal groups and have been one of the top bands for over 20 years in that genre. I really like them and they are originally from Memphis Tennessee which is 70 miles from where I live in Arkansas. The drummer Jen Ledger is from UK and has an album of her own. I suggest you react to “I’m not dead yet!” By Jen Ledger.

Skillet puts on one of the best shows and has so much energy.

I love the vocals of this band, in later songs he sings with his wife the drummer and she has a great voice that pairs very well with his.
His wife is the guitar player. Not the drummer.
Jen Ledger (drummer) was new in the band back when Monster came out. John Cooper (main singer) is married for like 20+ years now. A real fan should know that.
Korey is John's wife, and she is the guitarist. Jen is the drummer and female singer, although there's a few songs where Korey sings, so I can understand the mixup.

They have some popular songs like Hero or Awake and Alive but also they have so many underrated songs for me. My favourite ones are Fire and Fury and Believe.
If you want to give Skillet another shot, I'd suggest Rebirthing, Comatose, Hero and Whispers In The Dark.
Great song reaction Biss. You can literally choose any Skillet song and you will love it. The more you listen to them, the more you will love this band.

I saw them years back open for Stone Sour. In my opinion, they should have been billed as the top act. So much energy and the girls killed it!

Love skillet. Been following them since late 90s. I saw them in concert twice in early 2000s. Saw them last year. In oct. They still rock. Christain Rick. All they're songs are great.
You should check out "Not gonna die tonight" by Skillet. I'm sure you'll love it.

The frontman & the dark haired woman is John & Kori Cooper. The other guitarist I can't remember his last name but I Believe his name is Seth & the drummer is Jen Ledger. They are a Christian band but at the same time they don't.
Sound like your typical christian band. There are some spiritual themes in their music but there's also some quite Relatable Lyrics that go along with their music as well. I love this band.
The guitarist is Ben Kasika, Ben left the band and Seth replaced him

Literally my childhood song
When I was a kid I used to watch vidoes on YT of dinosaurs with soundtracks of metal songs along with it. Among those songs was this one, I have now rediscovered these songs and fell in love with the music once again. It brings back so many memories
Their song "Feel Invincible" is one of the very best tracks they have, definitely check that one out. So glad you enjoyed the song, they are a cool band for sure. Funny you should mention Adam & Eve, as they are a "Christen Rock" band.
Love this band, love this song. I really loved and enjoyed the video and reaction. If you liked this song then I highly reconmend listening to Psycho in my Head, Legendary, Burn it Down, Sick of It, Hero, Not Gonna Die, Whispers in the Dark, Rebirthing, Out of Hell and Feel Invincible. They're all really good songs (the best songs by Skillet in my oppinion and my favourite)

This song introduced me to skillet. And listening to their songs actually got me through a really tough time back in early 2020, specifically their song whispers in the dark
I don't know if you've ever heard (or heard _OF_ ) The Warning, but it's 3 sisters from Mexico. In 2014, they did a cover of "Enter Sandman". At the time, they were 9, 12 and 14 years old. You _HAVE TO_ see it to believe it. Incredible.

This is the song that has the most radio play and is probably the most “popular” but to me it’s no where near their best song.

I'm going to request a reaction to Disturbed's latest single, "Don't Tell Me" featuring Ann Wilson of Heart. Best collaboration ever. Very emotional song too. It's a dark and heavy ballad.
Oh, they're far from a one hit wonder ❤ I would recommend checking out "Breaking Free" ft. Lacey Sturm from Flyleaf.... but I think you'd need to check Flyleaf out first.
But Awake and Alive is REALLY GOOD. You get to hear their drummer singing... WHILE DRUMMING. She's pretty sick

The Invincible album from the late 90s early 2000s is still one of my favorites and it is such a tonal difference to their current stuff.
Really need to hear their songs Legendary (used to be the theme song for WWE so you know it rocks), Back to Life, Not Gonna Die, Ignite, Finish Line, Standing in the Storm....so many good ones, they're been around for over 20 years. For a good ballad between John and Jen, Forever or the End is great. Jen (vocals/drums) has a side project called Ledger, John (vocals/bass) and Seth ( guitar) has one called Fight the Fury

Every member of this band is a massive talent. I have seen MANY bands live and they were at least in the top 3 of all time.
They have many hits. As a Christian I orefer tge album nobody likes, but youll love the highest rated ones.

My absolute favorite band. Some of the newer stuff is awesome as well. Try Surviving the Game, it is pretty rocking!!!!!
They have an incredible guitar sound. I'm pretty good at analyzing and breaking down music (instrument parts), but Skillet is hard. I think it is because when Seth isn't playing solos, they have that Korey/Seth dual rhythm thing going on. So 'thick' and rich.

I loved this song when it first came out, and I still love it to this day. Skillet is a Christian rock band, and I believe that this song is about the demons or devils (or in this case "monsters") that we fight within ourselves everyday. This song, and this band in general honestly helped me through some tough times growing up, and whether you are religious or not, it's just good music
