Their album, Victorious, helped push me through two years of college to finish my Bachelor's degree while working 40+ hours a week with multiple military service-related disabilities. Skillet was a source of great strength and motivation for me. Lots of great music from them.
Jen Ledger is the drummer, love her voice. I like the songs, where she and John both sing , a little more, but all are good. I immediately thought of Jen when I first started listening the The Warning. Jen and Pau both hit hard, and are great singers too. "Awake and Alive" and "Hero" are a couple of their more popular songs, hope they're on your 'to do' list.

Still recommending their Legendary, Not Gonna Die, Back to Life, Finish Line, Whispers in the Dark, Forever or the End, Standing in the Storm, Rebirthing....many many good ones.
