This is a very interesting video. Thank you very much. I tried it more than 10 times and it did not work smoothly. Each time I had to re-deploy the child to get the data from the parent form. Seems I still did not get it right. Any further assistance would be appreciated.

Thank You for your education Daniel followed your tutorial and it is working fine on my Mobile version(Kobo Collect). However, the only issue, is it does not work in Enketo, the follow up form breaks when i try it in Enketo. The error is 'Failed to load Enumerator_tool.xml'
Thank you very much for this informative tutorial. How can I bar double entry of beneficiaries using Kobotoolbox. For instance, I have different RAs collecting data and some beneficiaries intend to register twice may in sub county A and again proceed to sub county B? is there a way to apply settings to detect this at data collection stage?

I have already been collecting data and now I wanted to develop a new follow-up form and link it with the already established regsitration form without any data loss

@@AppComs_Institute The problem was.. I was not using "begin_group". When I used it, the code is working.
@@AppComs_Institute Another thing I want to know. I have found that child form does get data after 5-6 minute after inserting data in the parent form. Is there any way it can get data instantly.

@@asifrahman6114 The 5 minute gap is for the kobotoolbox databses to update the entries. Currently thats the default. if it changes i will update it here
Hi Daniel , why is not working, I followed your step by step procedure but after using follow up form, it doesn't charge the previous data? Is it possible to edit your data using phone only after you sent to server ?
please review your form.. on first set up or after every new update you might have to wait upto 5 minutes for the two forms to sync
