Not sure if it has been discussed before, but what do you Korean-Americans think of Yeonmi Park?

So if you have a dual citizenship, you could still go to North Korea with another passport, right? Any consequences when you try to come back to the US?

My grandfather’s motherland is in North Korea. Thus, I am from North Korea. Does North Korean approve Brazil passport? I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. I am a DACA recipient living in Los Angeles, CA. I am proud of Cathi Choi! (It’s me, Scarlette Kim. Hi, Cathi!)

Yes every passport is accepted except the U.S. one.
Since Covid nobody can go (except few foreign workers) right now we have no news about when they are opening the borders for the rest of us.

I've reached out to women crossing the DMZ multiple times and even have the first US Presidential candidate debate with the use of the Korean language by one of the candidates. Women cross DMZ talk about giving presentations at Berkley and have gotten too close to the exclusionary and elitist ivory tower academics. I am skeptical about this organization and remain disappointed by their ongoing silence. I wonder how many other activists like myself have been shut out? Emanuel Pastreich who has pictures of himself and former Republic of Korean presidents has also said that this organization (Women crossing DMZ) are unresponsive. Similar non response issues have cropped up with the Korea Society and NK news and Peace Action. I believe that these organizations are engaged in gatekeeping.

I have pursued discussions with Dermot Hudson and Yeonmi Park and have documented these attempts to reach out. I have also contacted council for korean americans and many other korean american organizations. Only Koreans that meet certain qualifiers are acknowledged and I think it is this blindness that is also causing many problems for Koreans and Korean americans including the low birth rate.

Did a cursory WMAF-check, and it came positive on both counts. Women Cross DMZ? More like Women Grab BWC. LOL
