    Would love a longer tutorial. Made my first model a few days ago but I had problems with uv unwraping etc. and I really like your artstyle so it would be very cool if you made a longer one!

    I love this style of tutorial, great for people with a foundation already.
    I have a question, on characters that you have modular parts, would you just make a sperate model and attach them together in engine? For example, the frogs skirt, if you wanted to have different options.

    • @D0mD6v
      @D0mD6v  Год назад +8

      Thanks! Yes you could do that, but if you need the mesh to be weight painted to the bones, you can just separate the mesh in edit mode (Y then P) and then the mesh will still be parented to the rig and you can disable/enable the mesh in unity. Hopefully that makes sense :)

    Dude, I have 7 years of blender. Never touched anything character related because I thought I was shit at it (not wrong tho). I thought that the only way to make characters was using the sculpture tool, which I suck at. By using this extruding method, I actually managed to make something half decent! Gonna work more on that, maybe i'll loose my character making fear. Thanks!

Making a video of "how I do x" implies you are going to explain how you do x, otherwise its pretty worthless.

    There are like 4 or 5 steps in the beginning that I think should be slowed down and expanded on. Like you cut the square in half, how did you do that? why did you do that? Then you say "In the modifier tab" where is that? Things are just clicked through super fast that this should be labeled an intermediate tutorial if that is what you are going for.
