Thank you. I was amazed at one step too where I subdued the light pollution close to the horizon pretty effectively. I am afraid that was a fluke though. AKA: I have no clue how I achieved it 😅
BEAUTIFUL! I did almost the same thing last week in Kos Greece! Just Camera (90D) and same 14mm lens (beautiful lens!). For the last night where the best picture resulted I didn't use the external shutter since I realigned the stars after every 10 pictures. BECAUSE: Sequator doesn't run on Mac 🥲 thus I stacked with Siril and Siril get's quite confused when distortions vary between different pictures. And that will happen because even for me the earth wasn't willing to stop turning for 15-20 minutes or so 😩🤩 ... next thing I found out: Don't include any lights of the horizon in your picture, just take one for the foreground and paste it underneath at the end. Because Siril get's confused AGAIN! At the end I ended up with a result that I am very happy with. And the most important thing was enjoying the moments trying! It can't get any better then being outside on the beach with the sound of waves and the stars above you! Last problem: This lens covers a huge area of the sky, which is great - but it was almost impossible to get one single series of pictures WITHOUT A PLANE ENTERING LEFT OR RIGHT 😩🫣Thx. for the video!
Haven’t used Siril for other things than DSO’s and comets. The latter I found pretty complicated, so I can only imagine how difficult a horizon in your images will be. Have it posted somewhere?

What a nice and proper video.
You teased out that milky way rather well!

Het hunebed komt in een volgende video uitgebreid aan bod.
Very nice Martin I haven't attempted any Milky way shots for a while now I really should do though.
Definitely try it while the Milky Way is still showing the photogenic side…
Geweldige video 👍
Dankjewel

Dank! Wees er snel bij. Voor je het weet is het winter en is het fotogenieke deel van de Melkweg niet meer goed zichtbaar.
